I wanted to like this place. The menu is large with several options. The execution was so hot. I've tried it three or four times and haven't found anything I can hold onto. I've also found the slush machine down at least twice. I can't see myself going back. read more

We were disappointed with Frosty's when we went shortly after they opened and decided to try again, choosing the drive through. The person was not friendly at all, in fact she was rude. Seemed to be the only one handed the window. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. No explanation or anything. She didn't even say goodbye. Very poor customer service skills. The food was better than the last time, especially considering the price. Yet I think when we are choosing to grab something to eat, we will go elsewhere due to the lack of people skills employed. P.S. please stop using styrofoam, try something biodegradable. read more

I'm sad to say that after a whole year of waiting to try them again, against better judgment, I tried them a second time and it landed me mild food poisoning. I most definitely won't be going back and im standing in my first review of them. Service was great, I'll give credit where due, but the place is still cheap and beat up looking and still looks just like the old Burger King. The service is still not enough to make up for the fact the food sucks. The standard for food in this county is literally on the ground low so I can see why some locals still enjoy it. Been here twice this week and I wish I didn't live so far away cause their burgers are AMAZING!!! Staff is extremely nice and service was fast! For less than $13 dollars you get a delicious burger combo! Cheaper than any other place around these days! Will be coming back anytime I'm in Angels camp to try something new each time! Stopped in on the way home from my step daughters cross country meet. My husband ordered a pineapple milkshake and curly fries. Nothing remarkable, but not bad either. I ordered a chicken salad and an Oreo frosty. The Oreo frosty was pretty good, as was the chicken salad. However, i had horrible food poisoning the next day. I'm guessing they don't get many salad orders and I got some bad lettuce. Staff wasn't overly friendly but they weren't rude either. Tables were dirty. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this place again. The food poisoning just isn't worth it. read more

Stopped in on our trip back home from New Melones lake. First I would like to point out that they let me bring my dog inside as it was over 100 degrees outside and there is not many, if any dog friendly establishments in town. I promised to keep hertowards the back of the business and away from people, which I did. This act of kindness was a big plus for me. The food servings were huge. So big I only ate half of my curly fries after I killed off my pastrami melt. The selection of burgers and sandos is big as well. Last but not least was the "Energy Drink Freeze". It helped on the long drive home. Next time we are in town, we will be back! read more

My wife and I stopped in last night for dessert. We ordered a large swirl in a cup for me and a small Candy Mix-in with Oreo for my wife. The gal taking the order confirmed it before we pulled forward to the window. We paid and then received my wife's item and were told to have a great night. So after an explanation we were told we didn't pay for the large swirl but they can charge the card again and make it. Definitely odd. The sizes were also confusing. My large was considerably smaller than my wife's "small" dessert. Ice cream was just okay. Not sure we'll go back. read more

Gave them another try yesterday. The place is still a mess with big boxes of cups covering most of the front counter. I decided to try a burger. It was big, but awful. Whatever was supposed to be bacon in there was not like any bacon I have ever seen. The whole burger looked as if someone had sat on it and smashed it. We really wanted to like this restaurant, but were so disappointed. The food was horrible, how do you screw up on a corn dog?? Or a soft serve chocolate dipped ice cream cone?...the ice cream was too soft so the chocolate didn't harden and it was a mess...which I was willing to overlook, but I ended up throwing the whole thing out because the chocolate had a nasty taste to it. This restaurant could do really well up here if they just produced a higher quality product. read more

I agree with Michael N who left a review. Pastrami Sammy was awful just dry and nasty. The 2 tacos were also another mystery meat I guess. Tossed those out. The fries and zucchini sticks were edible. Spent over $20 on terrible food. Why can't we get a decent place up here. Will not eat here ever never again! read more

Expensive for fast food the burgers were big but they were dry and I hate those coated fries. I wish they just go back to making regular french fries. It's close to our house and very convenient. I wish they had better food at better prices. read more

It seems I kept going back thinking maybe it's because their new and just have to work out the kinks... well it seems that they don't understand NO ONIONS and they have not once got my order correct. Excellent service, good food, I highly recommend the Frosty! These girls put ketchup, and mustard in the bag with my meal without fail! I saw a review that said they asked for more ranch dressing and were told to "go the the supermarket next door and buy some!" Fast hot delicious food, great ice cream cones

Good size burgers, more than I could eat. Well made and tasty. One order of onion rings that are crisp are enough for 2 people and the same with the fries. Friendly people and clean restaurant. I almost didn't come after reading a couple of the other reviews...glad I did! read more

This has been a convenient place to stop between the ski area and the Bay Area. The food, for fast food, has been passable.Today is an early day in September. Frosty is great, but the young blonde girl they have on drive thru makes me want to reject my order every time. Terrible attitude and a head full of air. Makes ordering a chore, doesn't even try to listen or get an order right. If you're gonna be high learn how to function at work first. They have restrooms,yes plural, BUT they have a sign saying no public restrooms, they use an it's an old building excuse, they really are unfriendly & act like you're an inconvenience. This restaurant is poorly managed if managed at all. Staff ignored me for several minutes, walking by with no acknowledgment that I was there. They were more worried about tips than any customer, the two girls just chatted amongst themselves about money. I now understand the reason why at 5:30 pm on a Friday night there was one table with four people and no one at the drive through. Fire your teenage staff, they are ruining your business. Cutting a banana on stainless steel, hands all over the ice cream she was making with no gloves, totally disgusting. One young blond yelled a sarcastic remark to me as I walked out of the door because I asked for napkins and there was none there.
