It was a very good choice, busy cranking out the tunes, the pizzas and happy faces left and right. I liked the place it's been here for years and it shows it's age tirelessly. Bench seating with tables for the overflow. A large video arcade room for the kids, not quite astroids and pac-man but those were the days. Walk ups and order from the flat screen menus Pizza, sandwiches, and salads you get the idea. I Ordered a thin crust pie with pepperoni, artichoke, black olives, and sliced tomatoes. The push the pies through an impinger oven not my favorite but it is basically idiot proof and fast and that works here. Orders a salad bar trip and we shared the salad,. Plenty of good toppings not just the cheep no-one eats it toppings. The leaf mix was very good, weeds or romaine/ iceburg / spinach. I'm made it a two trip salad bar. Pizza was out in a bout 20 minutes, ok maybe 18 minutes Hot and Fresh no waiting it was oven to table as fast as you possibly could walk it. I initially started to order large which on the register was showing roughly $20 I then changed my mind and went to giant that ended up being over $50. The sizing isn't much different. I thought this place has pretty good pizza for an affordable price. I ordered a mini Garden Gold for $10.99. It was loaded with all kinds of vegetables and feta cheese, which made for a nice meal. The place is pretty much your traditional pizza parlor with arcade games and the like. You order at the counter and wait for your pizza to be called out when it is ready. I thought they had a nice selection of pizzas to choose from which were different than what you are likely to find at similar establishments of this kind. Fun place to be indoors, if you need a break from the heat. I got the ultimate Hawaiian pizza gluten free. It was delicious. Only came in one size and definitely had leftovers! Our party of 6 stopped in for a quick lunch after venturing the beautiful grounds of Angels Camp. We decided to order a Giant size (20 inches. 20 slices) of half Combination and half Monster Meat Combo. Well done of course because who likes a soggy crust?! We also added a side salad to assemble from their salad bar, and a two liter of soda. Needless to say, we tore through that lunch like hungry soldiers returning from basic training. The ingredients to the pizza were fresh -- crust and sauce are made in-house, toppings were generous, and it was just a wholesome pie all around. Love supporting locally owned small businesses. Plenty of TVs to watch games. The staff are all quick to help, with great service. We tried several pizzas in our visits: BBQ Chicken, Ultimate Hawaiian, Wrangler, Pepperoni, and the Gourmet Breadsticks with Cheese. The crust is some of the best you'll ever have. I've had Mike's pizza a couple times now when visiting my friend's hometown for various events and adventures. She insists that we stop here every time and I won't complain. It's a cute pizza shop with its own parking lot, the staff is really friendly and you can tell that they have a lot of regulars who live nearby. You can dine in or grab takeout and they have a good variety of pizza and other food options, including desserts. On our latest visit we had a pepperoni pizza and their cinnamon dessert sticks with a cinnamon roll glaze on them. Both were awesome. The pizza is a fluffier thicker crust, but it's balanced out with the great sauce and ratio of cheese and toppings. It's also not a bad price to feed a group of people. But what it lacked, the ribs made up for. My friend said the lasagna was absolutely delicious. We were entitled to a 20% discount based on our affiliation with the resort we were staying at. While vacationing at the local Worldmark resort here in Angels Camp, Mike's Pizza was highly recommended by the locals and we were hungry after a 2.5 hour drive from Yosemite National Park. We were greeted when we walked inside and it was obvious, this is a locals family favorite! We were treated as family here! We ordered a large specialty pizza, half and half from their menu and I also ordered a single trip salad bar. The pizza was loaded with toppings and it was fast, probably 15 minutes! The pizza was some of the best I've had!My salad was super delicious too and both my wife and I enjoyed it! They have a great salad bar! The prices are fair too!
