I don't typically do this, but worst sandwich ever. I bought a large and a half and both zero meat. Like (3) pieces each. Just horrible the staff would push this out, but ownership is exempting this.

Ordered combo pizza carry out. Ready on time, perfectly done. Great gluten free crust and very fresh toppings. Tasted really good. Bargain for the quality!

Thai Peanut Chicken pizza

I shop at Murphys market and one day recently I decided to order a Murphys Pizza Co pizza and shop while it's being made. I ordered one of the daily specials. Got home and briefly reheated the pizza in my convection oven. It was marvelous! So flavorful and generous with toppings, there was a subtle richness and umami you don't often find. Since then, I have been back several times and each time I am pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of flavor and quality. I tried them again last night and was blown away. I ordered the meatball calzone for a friend, and the Thai Peanut Chicken pizza for myself. My friend said the calzone was the best "Italian thing" he ever had. And my Thai pizza inspired me to write this recommendation. After I ordered it and was grocery shopping, I began to regret my choice. I thought, oh here we go, a pizza made of the bright, but trite pseudo-Thai ingredients. I was no longer in the mood. But when I got it home, popped it into the convection oven, and took a bite, so many nuisances whelmed me. Yes, the Thai flavors were there, but only as an echo to the other great pizza flavors. It was also so rich, subtle and loaded with indescribable umami. It gave me pause to slow-down and savor each bite thoroughly. Each of the pizzas and calzones I've had from Murphys Pizza Co have definitely been artisanal. Someone there is a master of flavor profiles. But get this... I find their elevated pizza at significantly less than Round Table in Angels Camp, or the pizza place in Arnold. I hope you will try this place.

Todays special - chicken, bacon, green onion, bbq drizzle

On our way back from the Calaveras Big Trees State Park, we wanted to stop by for some food. Although there were many options with better reviews, we wanted pizza. We were extremely skeptical as the overall review average was below 4 stars. So we agreed that if we didn't like the pizza, we could go across the street for some Mexican food. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile. We could smell the aromas from the kitchen. The inside of the restaurant was a little dark. It seems like it would be a good place to hang out with friends for pizza and beer. We ordered the Todays Special: Chicken Bbq Bacon w/ Green Onions After about 15-20 minutes, they brought out our pizza. Still skeptical we looked inside the box. I was hit with an aroma of cheese and bbq, and grabbed a slice to taste. The cheese pull just taking the slice out was amazing. Even upon the first bite, the cheese pull stretched as if I was filming for a YouTube video. If only I had been recording it! The flavor of the pizza was delicious. You could taste the different cheeses used to craft the pizza. The green onions and bbq sauce brought sweet and tangy flavors that elevated each bite. The crust had a perfect ratio of crisp and chew, it wasn't doughy or dry. We were all caught by surprise, wondering why the ratings were so low for good pizza and friendly staff. We don't usually leave reviews, but we thought this was well worth the support.

Meh. Everything was ok. Not planning on going back. The topping we're not the right sizes for pizza: too bulky to cook well.

Party of 4: Sunday @ 19:00p - No reservation required…read more We walked in just about an hour prior to closing. My eye caught two words on the menu "Ribeye Steak" which did not disappoint at all. Great selections offered- we tried sriracha corn fritters as well as bruschetta. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Then, came a long wait for a server to come. Once they did, after tables who had been seated after us, they offered us water that also took a long time. One of our servers was so kind, I didn't catch her name, but she brought our water and took our orders very efficiently, but was friendly. We ordered the fried cauliflower and alchemy burgers. Once the cauliflower came, our waiter told us that a cook had walked out mid-dinner rush had left them low on production. This didn't really explain the wait for service but we understood. I didn't get photos of the burgers when they came, because our table was pretty hungry after the long wait! The presentation of the food was ok but the food itself was pretty delicious. The fries were very flavorful and the burgers were cooked a perfect medium rare. We also got a butter pecan sundae that was very large, but good. If the food and that one waiter had not been so good, I would probably take more stars. If you are going to come here, I recommend having a lot of time and patience. 5 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. Knowing this, I would be tentative to come back if we got the same experience in terms of service.

The Watering Hole - The burgers were perfect!

Came for the burger :)…read more My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.
