In January I reached out to Suburban k9 and made an appointment for them to come out and meet my 7 month old dog to see if they could train her. They said yes! She would do great, No problem. Set up a date for a 2 week board and train. I had 4 specific goals. a down stay, not running out the front door, stop jumping on people who come over, no jumping on counter after food. I was assured that at the end of the 2 weeks she would keep a down/stay for 1 1/2 hours, wouldn't run out the door and not jump on people.
i paid their fee and off she went. When she came back she was doing good with the down/stay as long as I was the only one in the room. If someone else entered she would push off the walls, roll, army crawl etc. this became increasingly worse. She still jumps on the counter after food, wont keep a down stay and tries to run out the front door! I work with her daily between customers in and out of the house! I reached out to K9 and was given 2 free of charge lessons.
Again voiced my concerns about my original requests of training and then started getting things like "well she is a puppy" "she is going through a terrible 2 stage" making excuses. I am back to having to crate my dog when anyone comes over!
So I reached out and required about a refund and was told that wasn't possible even though they clearly said it is 100 percent money back guarantee. I asked to speak with the owner and was told he was unavailable, spoke with a manager who again said well she is after all still a puppy! I asked to speak with the owner again at that time MattC. and was told he was traveling and unavailable, at which time I asked for my money back again and was told they would do partial but not the whole thing! I said I believed they should honor their policy and was told again No to a full refund!
I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, lack of fulfilling what was promised and then not honoring their guarantee!! read more
