We love our Shih-Tzu, Penny. To a fault, it turns out. We took her from her mom at six weeks and spoiled her, which was no way to start off our dog ownership. I was so skeptical about any sort of immersion training but was literally out of options when I found Lindsay. She and her team are beyond amazing at what they do. From the moment I dropped our pup off, she made me feel comfortable with him being there as well as was able to tell me right away the issues she saw and how they were going to work on them. My husband and I rescued our dog Titus a little over a year ago. I have worked with a few trainers in the Valley and Lindsey is the best. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she trains. I have one dog who was starting to get more reactive toward other dogs and Lindsey has really helped me learn how to gain control. Lindsay is AMAZING! She is up front and honest. We have a dog who we thought would never change. He began growling at our little children, digging holes, tearing up drip system lines, hyper, basically completely uncontrollable. She took him to her home for 5 weeks trained/molded him into a whole new dog. It didn't stop there, when she brought him back she spent 2 hours with us teaching us what she taught him, how, and why. She gave us the tools to continue the training and showed us indicators to look for to be one step ahead so we can be proactive not responsive. Dogs test you just like children do and we weren't aware of these subtle actions. She is prompt with returning calls, texts and emails. And I have to say she is VERY clean for kenneling and training so many dogs at once. I first thought there is no way this dog is coming back trained with everything on her plate as a wife, mom, & dog behaviorist and on top of that she boards dogs and trains horses but she EXCEEDED our expectations. She has also followed through with follow up training. Lindsay is 100% passionate about her job and the animals that she takes care of. Not to mention she is one patient individual. I felt like a one man circus having 2 boys (3 and 1) and 2 boxers by myself for most of the time as my husband travels 7 months out of the year and she hung in and didn't get frustrated with me not remembering or not following through on my end of the training at times. We adopted our dog Chloe as a puppy from a rescue organization. She was high energy from the start and we fell in love with her . Unfortunately, Chloe had significant behavior issues after a really bad boarding experience at another facility about a year ago. After that she demonstrated behaviors that were very concerning as we have 2 kids and not sure if she was a good fit for our family after that. We couldn't figure out her behavior issues on our own. THe first time we met Lindsay she worked with us one on one at our home. In that time, we learned more about Chloe and her behavior in 2 short hours than from any other trainer we had used in the past Lindsay not only identified clearly what Chloe needed to work on but spent time training us as a family also. She knew we had kids and were concerned about her behavior. We had CHloe go to her home for immersion training. She was an anxious, nervous and protective dog that did not socialize well. She just returned to our home and already she is a much different dog. Lindsay was always available to answer our questions, give us updates on how Chloe was doing while she was going through immersion training. . Lindsay did a great job explaining what we needed to do also to continue her training. We have a very busy family life and she helped us problem solve different scenarios so that we could be consistent with our training.
