Great subs if you want something different than the regular chain types (Subway, Togos, etc.) lots to chose from. Took me a minute to decide but not long before I chose the pastrami and cheese. Everyone has their own personal preferences to the type that they like but this was just right for me. The bread was soft and tasty and had a good balance with the meat. Can't complain. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. You get a greeting when you enter and leave. Will definitely come back again when in the area. read more

Bread super soft, fillings were fresh and ample. Not a fan of chopped tomatoes/onions. Personally prefer sliced. Did request lettuce, should be on there as a standard topping. Subway has nothing on Subking . Subking is superior in sandwich meats to subway , they use Galasso bread which is wonderful. Subway has dropped its prices to compete but just doesn't compare to this family run sandwich shop . A gem in the desert read more

I'm here all the time for lunch breaks when I'm in the area. Very nice people and the subs are really good and prices are even better. Never had a issue here before. Be careful though! They are closed on Sunday's! I always seem to forget that myself. If you have never been here and want a good simple lunch this is a must stop. read more

A solid favorite that's never let me down. I remember first going to the location that was open in Bermuda dunes over 15 years ago and being blown away by their pastrami sandwich. I've been going here since high school (14 years ago - yikes) and keep returning whenever I come back to the desert, so that must say something about the place. It's nothing fancy - no gourmet toppings or artisan breads, just a good ol' fashioned sub. The bread is tasty and chewy, and the toppings (most subs come with tomatoes, onions and pickles) are all chopped/diced, which is a nice touch. Although I've had many different subs here, my current fave is the Sub Club 3 - Turkey, Bacon and Avocado. I swear you can't go wrong with any of their subs that have avocado. I have not been to Sub King in many years going to Jersey Mikes and Port of Subs instead. I went back to Sub King and ordered The King Club and loved it so much like when I used to go many years ago. The bread was great the meat top notch and the service was great . None of the above mentioned placed even compare to them. It's now Sub King for me from now on. read more

The cashier never smiles though and I'd feel a lot more welcome if they were a little friendlier there. Prices are outrageous also. $10.15 for a ft long, chips, and drink. A rare trip to the Palm Springs area. For lunch, my sister suggested an " 'ol dependable," in the Subway megachain. No Pavlov response from me there. The only dependable thing there is skimpy meat and a leave you hungry feeling. Looked up other options (please!) and not only did this place get my juices flowing, but there was a Check-in special for a discount on a large. I'm there! ...twice. While in line during my first visit, my musing about the roast beef and turkey sandwich was boosted by the guy in front of me who turned around and said, "They're good!" He was right. Tasty with guacamole, lean beef, onions, and no mayo even when eaten 3 hours later on the golf course. Got the large and plenty split for two people. Two days in PS, two roast beef and turkey subs.
