She was in the kitchen for a very long time because...I had no idea how dirty it was. The counters feel totally different, the chrome all over the apartment could meet royalty with pride. She was fast and did things to my bathtub I didn't think were humanly possible. What a pro. She was late so I almost had a heart attack, but what she did in 3.5 hours fully blew my mind. Thank you Gia!

I've used cleaners for Airbnbs and rental properties. I thought it was a simple ask especially for…read morea 1 bedroom / 1 bath apartment. We just needed a deep cleaning for a move-out including appliances and cabinets. Realtors and buyers had come through the apartment for showings. No one had remarked on the cleanliness of the place as a major issue. Even new kitchen counters had been recently installed, so we weren't expecting major issues other than a good scrubbing of appliances. Thinking everything was fine especially for a smaller space. I left the apartment for 2+ hours - hoping to come back to a clean place. Unfortunately, I couldn't discern a noticeable difference in cleanliness of the kitchen. I ask the cleaner what's been cleaned in the last three hours - opening cabinets and pointing to the dust. After three hours, I just asked for the cleaner to leave. Gia's explanation was that the apartment was "pretty dirty and not brand new so it's just difficult to get rid of everything for the first time cleaning". I couldn't see though that much had been cleaned. Even the brand new counters looked dirtier than before. I ended up just wiping down the counters and picking up a broom - sweeping to see that there was still dust on the floor. The cabinets still unopened and items hadn't even shifted. The appliances had visible crumbs and dirt streaks/smudges. Definitely disappointed after shelling out $160 even after asking them to leave. It was more of a hassle to deal with scheduling the cleaner, leaving the apartment / picking up cash, and still to clean the apartment. After they left, neither myself or husband could tell what was cleaned. I'm just going to have to go through the expense of hiring another cleaner.

Maids to Help is LITERALLY amazing. Irina is incredibly responsive, and I am blown away by how…read moreincredibly detail-oriented, fast, and professional the cleaning ladies are. I have never used a cleaning service before and wasn't sure what to expect. I generally deep clean my apartment by myself every few months and am pretty fastidious, so I was hesitant to use a service (thinking it wouldn't be as good me as trying to do it myself). I was so, so wrong. My apartment is actually spotless and immaculate, and they cleaned in spaces I wasn't even expecting. Like, they removed my dozens of magnets from the front of my refrigerator to clean it, and then put them all back up and arranged them so beautifully. I had also let them know in advance that they didn't need to worry about my master bedroom--I had piles of clothing everywhere and was so ashamed of it--and they cleaned it anyway, going so far as to even nicely fold all of my piled up clothing and arrange my shoes. It is literally so clean that I want to cry. And, all of this attention and care and cleanliness for an extremely reasonable price (I got different quotes from a few other places and this was by far the best). 100% would recommend Maids to Help if you're in Chicago and want to enjoy a clean home. Easily one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Ashley didn't come with adequate supplies 3. When I brought up some of my concerns, the budget I provided was the reason there wasn't a better clean. I would have preferred more transparency that the budget I provided wouldn't result in a spotless deep clean.

They truly value good customer service and work hard to provide quality. The cleaner was on time or early too. Tatyana was very good. looking forward to booking again. _______________________________ I'm shopping around for cleaning services so i can across CleaningDash. I like the website and it was easy to book a service. Fortunately, I was also able to book a service the same day. I received a text with an ETA of the cleaner who was also on time. The cleaner took her time but the quality of work just okay. It felt like more of a surface level cleaning and what was accessible which is fine in some cases. i kept asking her if she needed any supplies or if she had questions, to just ask me. She didn't ask anything which i hope she would have. Items missed to name a few: there was still dust/hair behind the doors, near the fridge and stove, shower watermarks was not completely scrubbed, nor was the kitchen sink. When she said she was done, i pointed out a few of these item so she did try to clean it after but there were some she said she can't do. At this point, she said she didn't have a broom, but she could have just asked, I had 2 in the closet which i handed to her to for final touches. this made me think her floor cleaning was subpar cuz she didnt ask for a broom in the 1st place and she swiftered what was in view. I'm not opposed to using CleaningDash in the future but not for a while and i just have to curb my expectations.

SECOND UPDATE: (I can't add another update to my previous review)…read more Back to 2 stars: Andrew emailed me again to thank me for updating my review. He then asked me to remove the mention of a refund from my review because other people might try to take advantage, and to please take down the photos because it's hard to run a small business. Though he acknowledged "I know it's too much to ask," it's totally inappropriate. I told him that it's unethical and against Yelp's terms of service to ask a customer to remove factual information from a review, and that it's not my responsibility to manage his company's reputation or what other people might do based on an honest review. Going back to two stars for these inappropriate tactics.
