You can find them just a block down from Manoa Marketplace right across from Morning Glass they do have five dedicated parking stall for convenience and without a storefront sign don't pass right by this building. This vibrant and spacious layout makes it so easy to browse as it's all nice and organized as you walk in you'll see the various merchandise from coolers, plates and some stationary items along with some fun and beautiful accessories the selection is quite impressive. I bought it back today to try to exchange. I was informed that it was their policy that without a receipt they couldn't do anything and I was stuck with the top. The sales person was the same one who sold me the top the previous day so she knew I purchased it. I had a receipt on my Venmo app as well as in my ApplePay app...still not acceptable. She checked with Roberta Oaks so it is the owners inflexible policy. I will never go to this shop nor will I ever recommend this shop. I gave the blouse away. It's too bad they don't value the satisfaction of their customers.

I saw the reviews of others saying that the service isn't super friendly. I get it. I live with some pretty angry Hawaiians and I get that it's hard to be happy all the time living here and working in an area filled with tourists. The few times I've been here, service has been a mixed bag. But they all get the job done. They'll usually try to give you a new item (instead of the display items) if they have any in stock. I think they are card only. Ofc the most difficult thing about kealopiko is how exclusive it is. They make their clothes in small batches and hand print the material. It's good quality items and honestly less expensive than some other locally owned stores, so I like shopping here. It's just sometimes hard to get your hands on things. I'll definitely be back. I try to follow them on Instagram so that I can head to the store when they do a drop. It was definitely easier when I lived in town.

I had passed by this batik shop many times in the past, but never went inside. Today, June 21, 2026, was their last day, so I walked in to look around. Note: they won't be receiving more inventory because of the tarrifs, one of the vendors retired, etc. Sally was an excellent sales associate. She knew the fabrics (cotton vs. linen vs. bamboo), the origins of the prints, the styles, etc. Sally briefly explained the intricate process of making batik fabric. Wow... she even showed me a pattern stamp and swatches. She really knew her stuff... because she's worked at Noa Noa for over 13 years! I got a couple of dresses because natural fibers - such as cotton - should be cooler to wear. (I'm perspiring more because it's summer now...) I'll try itvout and get more at their smaller Waikiki shop or their new shop which will be nearby. Yay!

I walked in having no idea where to begin because there's so many beautiful garments to look at. I didn't have a style or color preference, I just knew I wanted to buy something nice. Aya politely asked me a few questions to narrow down the search. She then pointed out some of the different styles in my size. Together, we pulled a few dresses off the rack and Aya led me to a fitting room. Excitedly, I had four lovely dresses to try on. As I was in the fitting room, Aya politely offered information about the different fabrics, the variety of styles and sizes, she even explained the best method for gentle washing. When I came out of the dressing room without "the" dress speaking to me, Aya pointed out another rack that I had not yet browsed. Then BOOM, there it was! The color! The size! The fabric! The style! Winner, winner, Aya helped this beginner :) After trying it on and walking around the store in it, it was done. Mission accomplished thanks to Aya! Love my pretty new dress, Mahalo Aya :)

That night as I shopped, Kalani and Maile greeted and welcomed me with their genuine aloha. I could tell how happy they were, both were singing while they were working. I love it when people sing, I feel like they are connecting with the music and their hearts are happy. This store has a bunch of different apparel styles and tastes. I found 2 dresses for work. I got lots of complements the next day at work. In inquired about the Black Friday Sales (even though I was early, Tuesday). No sales were going on but Aunty Maile gave me a gift for my purchase. Super kind of her and much appreciated. I don't often treat myself to dresses and such, but I was so happy I was able to support local. Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. Looking for a purple dress, I didn't expect to find one at Aloha Fabrics, but I did! Strolling around Dole Cannery, I saw clothing in the window. I thought that this was a hula supply store? Since I'm here, I should just take a look, right? Browsing the aisles that were filled with all kinds of merchandise like pareo, hair accessories, musical instruments, tube tops, lanyards, check book covers, hula skirts, etc., I found a rack of long mu'umu'u! I was excited to find a pretty lei print on lavender material with purple trim! Perfect! The nice man apologized that there was no dressing room. I estimated the length and width to figure what size to get. He said there's no refund and maybe I can come back for alteration? I think I'll fit! I also saw some coin purses that will make great party favors! I got a bunch and he gave me a discount for bulk purchase! Thank you! Wow... I wasn't expecting anything and this store is really terrific... they even have 100% cotton palaka fabric on bolts! I need to return when I'm ready to sew my next project! Thank you so much!!!
