Their monthly pecial drinks are incredible, but I gotta say my all time favorite is the Iced Hum Yum Latte. And oh don't sleep on their sandwiches, all great selections and my favorite are the Jordyn's and Humboldt Veggies. I have been here since they open and never disappointed. We were in Eureka for a few days and spotted this new looking coffee drive through while driving around exploring, as it was only a couple of blocks from our hotel, we added it to our...must try tomorrow for breakfast....list.... Next morning I headed over, I was offered a menu at the window, but had already "pre-gamed" online so knew what we were after. Wife's caramel concoction looked and smelled amazing, and my go to latte was perfect. Its a drive up one side, order & pay, then drive to the 2nd window and pick up your order. The wait was less than 4 minutes and the drinks were hot & very tasty. They also offer breakfast pastries and sandwiches, and preorder options via their website. A drive-thru coffee bar suggests fast but impersonal service. That's NOT Stu's Brews! While visiting in Humboldt, I picked Stu's over rival coffee bars after looking at the menu online. It seemed to have the most choices and the most room for customization. When I drove up, the guy at the window -- possibly Stu himself? I should have asked -- overwhelmed me with warmth and bonhomie. You would have thought he was welcoming me to his home rather than his business. I was right about the wealth of choices. I got exactly what I was craving, with exactly the customizations I wanted. Meanwhile, we had a lovely conversation. I didn't feel rushed, because there was no one behind me, but the guy said not to worry anyway because they have two windows. The price was very reasonable and my food and coffee were tasty. I recommend Stu's highly. If I'm ever back in Humboldt, I'll definitely return. read more

Fantastic drinks! My vanilla latte and my husband's mocha were both great - they use a brand of flavored syrup that isn't the standard Torani that all the other local shops use and you could definitely taste the quality! Bonus points that it was organic. They plan to be open on Saturdays starting sometime this month, which I'm looking forward to. Absolutely recommend - I wish them success in this location! read more

Ordered a iced nut latte and ice rose mocha with a chocolate croissant warmed up. Iced nut latte was super good but a little on the sweeter side, and the iced rose mocha was great. Drink was good albeit little expensive. Drive thru so no ambiance to speak of. Wildly bad customer service. Man in the photo stopped taking our order and began screaming at top volume, mostly into the car but intending to stop a homeless man, 50+ feet away from stopping on the street. He hurled obscenities at the man and repeated "NO CAMPING, IM CALLING THE COPS". There was no sign this man was trying to camp there, simply gathering his things and moving along. It was a disturbing experience that colored the rest of the day, I will not be returning. read more

I got a coffee here a few weeks ago with friends (the order was on my card under my name). while in the drive through the own screamed across the street at a houseless person to keep moving. even tho the person did continue collecting their things to move down the street, stu later left the drive through to jaywalk across the street and disrespect the houseless person face to face. during his initial screaming fit he also was screaming into the open window of our car. he is also replying to my friend (the drivers) review and trying to make him out to be a liar. all over, not a fan of stu and the coffee was ok but expensive. read more
