We are new to Bastrop and had no idea what pitfalls lay before us with obtaining a permit for the shed from the City of Bastrop. During the 3 month ordeal with the city, Mr. Gabriel and Paul Beachy were the kindest most patient vendors we have ever had the pleasure of buying from. They continued to hold our shed on their property with only the deposit we put down on day 1. Near day 90 when the day finally arrived, Mr. Gabriel Beachy professionally installed the new shed uphill on slick sand and gravel. The shed was leveled on the hill with precision. This father and son run their business with the utmost professionalism and have the souls of saints. We will NEVER complete another addition project without them. Please go by and see what their facility has to offer. Their selection is plentiful, someone will greet you warmly and will work with you. Add shelves, cut windows ..... Once I spoke to Paul it was clear I was dealing with someone who cared about quality and personal integrity. He was patient describing options and did not try to up-sell. I spent a lot of time comparing vendors, their options, prices, construction, delivery times, customer reviews etc etc... I looked at new vs used on Facebook marketplace, craigslist, many google searches all across Texas and even comparative pricing in LA, OK. I needed an odd floorplan, dependable schedule, had a tight install area, limited budget, and wanted a well-made, nice-looking building. In the end Sturdi-Bilt exceeded our expectations in every way. They kept me updated on progress, Gabriel arrived ahead of time, was extremely well-equipped and knowledgeable, and could not have done a better job on the install. My building turned out much better than expected. The trim, painting, door alignment, stud and rafter placement, everything top notch. The more I use it, the more I realize how well it was crafted and I specifically use "crafted", not "built". We plan to buy another building from Sturdi-Bilt and now some of our neighbors do also. We have purchased 6 buildings of varying size from Sturdi-Bilt over the years and each has been perfect. Great craftsmanship at a reasonable price. The buildings are very tight and solid. We live in a wooded area and not one rodent has ever gotten into any of our Sturdi-bilt buildings. Paint has never faded. No issues at all, which is rare. The owner and family members are all extremely nice, patient, and helpful. If you can afford it, I strongly recommend getting a metal roof and the hardiplank siding as they are fire resistant. Very important if you live in a wooded area prone to forest fires. We were hit by the Bastrop forest fire in 2015 and none of our Sturdi-bilt metal roof & hardiplank buildings burned. One was slightly scorched in a small area near the ground, but no serious damage. The hardiplank did it's job and protected our buildings. So, really worth a bit of extra money to be safe from fire. I have absolutely no doubt that anyone would be very pleased with a building from the folks at Sturdi-bilt. read more

Don't listen to that fella. Gabriel and his family are good, honest, hard-working people. Sturdi Bilt Buildings is an impressive company. They are totally dedicated to the customer and craftsmanship. The Beachy's are a great family and treat you as one of their family in the process. Gabriel and his kids stayed with us after hours to order our building as we couldn't make it any earlier. We ordered our custom building on Dec 16th and it was delivered on Jan 6th. I must say that the delivery conditions were not ideal. Texas decided to go from 85 to freezing rain and wind. The building was iced over, the Mule was iced over and through it all Gabriel did everything to get it installed in a timely fashion. Did I mention the building is absolutely beautiful? He even made sure the weather vane points in the correct direction. I can honestly say there will be another building in the future purchased from this great company (and family). read more

The service and professionalism of the crew at Sturdi-Bilt is excellent. I've owned and used a Sturdi-Bilt building since 2004. I went back to them for my recent purchase because of the quality, craftsmanship, and durability in my first building. My experience has been the same. High quality, professional service, and delivery exactly as promised. Both of my buildings are 12'X16' in the barn style. I upgraded the new one with a metal roof. The shingle roof on my 2004 is still in great condition. Gabriel delivered and installed both of my buildings. He is detail oriented and precise in placing my building on the spot I had prepared. He checked the exterior and found some tree limb marks I didn't even notice. He touched up the paint and adjusted the leveling again because he was not satisfied with how one of the doors swung closed. The first one we lovingly called our barn (10x20) because it was our Segway from country living to the City of Bastrop. It had an 8' porch, double doors and loft storage. When we moved to Tahitian Village we needed a storage building (8x16) built on site, no problem. We had it insulated, and have received a dollar's worth of comfort for every penny spent. Also, the shelving design suggested was perfect for our needs. The quality of the material craftsmanship and installation is impeccable. A friend of ours that lives in Bastrop recommended Sturdi-Bilt. My wife and I looked at many prefabed buildings around Columbus but none had the workmanship that Sturdi-Bilt offered. We met with Paul and told him what we had in mind. We had Sturdi-Bilt build a custom 12'x30' workshop with insulation, wiring for electrical, windows, work bench and shelves. They delivered it on the day they promised, leveled it on cement blocks and set it perfectly where we wanted. I would recommend them to anyone who needes a prefabed building large or small. The workmanship is twice as good as any of the other portable buildings on the market. They build it like they would build it for themselves. read more

I'm big on the tiny house movement and want to make sure that if I invest in a building, it's built with care. I've noticed some things with this company that I don't often see and considering that I have a construction background I notice EVERYTHING! I can sum it up in 3 words, STRONG, TIGHT and DETAILS. This is the best quality built shed I have seen on the market. There is no extra floor attachments to buy. It comes with a wood floor. Nothing to put together.
