This place seemed to be about your average run of the mill pizza joint, and in many ways it was true to my initial thought. The pizza wasn't the same old flat $5 pizza you get places or anything, but it also didn't cost $5! For the price, it was okay. Kinda reminded me more of digorno then anything else (yeah, the frozen stuff). That's not to say it's bad, it wasn't, just wasn't very memorable either. The spaggetti though was overcooked. Girlfriend ended up not eating much of it because it was gross to her. We both ended up with horrible stomach aches that night too but since I can't say with complete certainty it came from here, I won't, but regardless I'm not too sure we'd come back anyway. Not that LA is like king of the pizza places or anything, but there are just enough that this one seems too far to go to unless it had something that wow'd me, and unfortinately I don't think it did. Actual Rating- 0 Stars I want my money back! For reasons I'll never understand my friends all love this place. Sure it has insanely cheap pizza and beer on Monday nights (the only time I've ever gone!) but I've always subscribed to the notion that something is only a bargain when you get something of value in exchange for your hard earned dollar and not shit! Which is what stuft pizza is! The crust has all of the flavor of toasted wonder bread but without the warm childhood memories. Flat, flavorless and not the slightest bit of chewiness. That said the wost part of the dough is that there's so much of it! Literally 80-99% of this pizza is dough. I suppose people enjoy Stuft because it's cheap and filling. Well if that's what you're after go to the store and buy some good french bread (sorry I forgot LA doesn't have many good bakers) and chow down on that! The pizza is all filler! You order a stuft pizza and you get a honking slab of terrible bread with a thimble full of sauce and a peasants portion of toppings! Now, while all good pizzas are NEVER over sauced, Stuft has gone in the opposite direction and puts virtually none on it. This is just as well because on each occasion I've "enjoyed" a stuft pizza the sauce has been tangy and reminiscent of cocktail sauce. WTF!?! Now to be fair the cheese isn't bad. I suppose finding shitty mozzarella would be too much work for the owners of Stuft pizza and, as is evident from their pies, they just aren't willing to go that extra 1/2 inch. The toppings weren't bad. I usually got the pepperoni (again hard to screw up) and that was par for the course. Just to sum it up Stuft pizza is the WORST pizza I've ever had. While I've had my fair share of uninspired and disappointing pizzas I've never had any as terrible as Stuft. I honestly think the owners of Stuft set forth on a mission to create such a bad pizza because when it comes right down to it pizza is incredibly easy and simple to make and, honestly, it's pretty hard to make a terrible pie. Rundown - good deal for a group - fresh tasting pizza - good place for lunch during the work week A coworker introduced me to this place a few years ago. It was close to work, decent prices and friendly service. Not sure why I ever stopped going. Maybe I was getting tired of pizza? I really have no idea why... Fast fwd a few years later and I came across this pizza joint again and my lunch crew and I started to go back. Luckily, came back to the same great service and food! The pizza crust is nice and fluffy, not too much cheese or sauce. So good. The first bite is awesome. My only gripe about this place is that the bottom of the pizza can get a bit greasy and soggy! I just eat the pizza super fast to avoid any sogginess! My coworker and I share a medium pepperoni pizza, order 2 drinks and the bill is less than $15. How can you complain about that? I only have pizza delivered, but I must say that Stuft pizza is the best in town. They put so many more toppings that all other pizza's disappointment me now. I'm not a big pizza eater, but I will eat Stuff pizza. Even the crust is delicious sporting a slight sheen olive oil. I've ordered takeout once and delivery 3 times and each time the pizza has been delicious and the wings equally satisfying. Their delivery via yelp has always been accurate, too. Highly recommend this place, especially if you enjoy a bread-y crust. The delivery guy(s) is always friendly and always figures out our call box to make delivery at our front door. I called customer service once when I thought my pizza was running late and the girl who answered the phone assured me the delivery guy was just minutes away. Just ate there for lunch today. Not too bad. I had the small pizza w/meatballs on it. It took a little while for them to make it but I guess pizza can't really be made at lightning speed, and at least you know it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp all day. My second visit to Stuft was as disappointing as the first. The crust of our pepperoni and black olive pie was dense, bland, stiff, and starchy. The tomato sauce was flavorless, and the cheese and other toppings were low quality and greasy. Gross. The pizza reminded us of what you used to get at Peter Piper or Chuck E. Cheese - appealing only to eight-year-olds coming straight from a soccer game. Please, Stuft, revamp your pizza entirely with an eye toward quality and flavor or vacate your prime Main St. location so we can at least have a shot that a tasty new restaurant might take your place. I saw that this place had the average rating of 3 stars. I think this place at least deserves one more. I'm not a big fan of extra greasy pizza. Stuft Pizza doesn't have a "diet-like" menu, but the pizzas are clean. By clean I mean that you won't a grease soaked napkin or oil running down your hand and forearm. I think a large was somewhere close to $10, and it was good for me, my girfriend, and my cousin. I keep on ordering the same thing, so I can't comment on all of the things that they have. Just ok. I appreciate that they deliver to my job at a minimal delivery fee. I called about an hour before I wanted to eat, ordered food for five people, they said it would take 40 minutes. It ended up taking an hour. Good thing I called with spare time. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and it was pretty yummy. My only complaint is the crust was super dry and tasteless. I would have loved some garlic or SOMETHING to dip it in. Everyone liked their meals. But the consensus was it was just ok. Overall it was super cheap, delivers, and filled me up. This place is good and deserves more people coming to it because when we came we were the only ones there but it seems like they get a bunch of takeout as they were very busy making a lot of pizza despite us being the only ones there. The workers were sweet and the food was fresh, We ordered the Baja pizza, meat ravioli with garlic bread, and the mozzarella sticks which were all very good and the toppings were plentiful. Really freaking average pizza. It was pretty much all dough. Not nearly enough toppings, sauce, nor cheese. We got the double cheese for the veges around the office, but it felt like they mixed up the numerator and the denominator and we ended up with half cheese. And it is really expensive.
