We stayed in Kelso for a bit and our hotel recommended Stuffy's we went and hated it. We got seated and waited 15 min before our waitress came to ask us what we wanted to drink, then 5 min later came back and took our order. We didn't eat anything big, just a simple breakfast. I had the sausage with gravy biscuit. The biscuit was square and not tasty, the gravy was congealed like it had been sitting for awhile and didn't have much flavor. We hardly saw our waitress and actually had another waitress who was way more helpful to us. Definitely won't stop here again, it's too long of a wait with two small kids and a pregnant momma. Food was meh and overpriced. My children got a small to go cup that looks like it could hold grapes, the straw was more than twice the size of the cup? Very awkward to drink out of. Basic dinner, we thought about getting up and leaving a few times because service was slow and non existent. read more

Daughter in laws birthday, only here 2-3 times a year. This year mirrors last year and the years overall. Arrived at 9:30am. So far..... My decaf was served as tea. Corrected but then topped off with tea again, new decaf was brought out but took forever. Initially upon arrival we were warned they were 4 people short. Management problem or they just don't hire well. Last year upon arrival we were warned short on staff. Seemed weird. 10:41. One hour and 20 min 3 plates were delivered to our 8 people table. Also just now an upset patron asked for water, menus and some kind of service. 10:44 my plate just arrived. Overall my food was good except wasn't cooked to order. Didn't care I was too hungry by then. Too many people not enough servers. Cory the manage was the guy that put tea in my decaf. If you sit by the kitchen area you chair will be constantly bumped by servers. Servers are working hard over all. They do a good job. I feel lack of staff and poor overall service is sourced by inexperienced and or poor management. From friends and family they echo our experience. read more

Hello Glenda (business owner). A while back I wrote a review asking why you don't heed all the bad reviews. You wrote a reply and said you do. We gave you another try. Omelettes overdone and dry again. My coffee cup dry for way too long again. I will say that the waitresses sure seem to cater to a couple tables of regulars. I have been coming here since it was at base of Columbia heights. The food has always been good but lately service is horrible. I tried to take my co-worker out to thank her for work she'd done and she got worst treatment ever. Steak dinner came with potato. No Bread, no condiments for potato, no steak knife, no steak sauce. She had to ask waiter for them several times and by then, dinner cold. I've ordered to go several times to eat at work. no napkins, utensils, butter or sour cream for potato or bread and last time no soup which I had paid for. Your people NEED TRAINING. . This time, I got no salsa or sour cream for TACO OMELET. . . Come on people. This wasn't a $3.95 Burger King meal. They at least give out napkins and fry sauce. . . I don't like doing this but I've already called and complained and it happened again. read more

First time we visited Stuffys II. We had lunch, tuna melt special was very good with albacore tuna and not greasy. The fries were plentiful and Hot! This place is good but not great. We skipped the gigantic cinnamon bun and had the cinnamon bun French toast, the waffle special (that had the pricing and description crossed out) and the little mess. The little mess stated it came with ham in it, it was very hard to find. And although it is called little, it is still a huge portion of food. The French toast and the sausage that came with it were good, the bacon was a bit over cooked. Our waitress was awesome, but the manager that visited our table lacked serious people skills. My family LOVES Stuffy's! Excellent quality at a reasonable price. We love Stuff and Kool-7 especially! I finally got one of the giant cinnamon rolls for my birthday this year, and while it tasted great, the outside layer was dry and hard and I was hoping for soft and gooey. I never made it to the middle to find out if it was any better, even though I brought it home and ate the leftovers for several days. read more

OMG! Large portions! We went on a Friday night with a large group (30+) and the wait staff were very friendly and efficient. The variety of food was fantastic for all of us picky eaters and did I mention the portions?! The cinnamon rolls were 10 lbs and one was shared by all. Everyone left happy and satisfied. We should have known as soon as we walked in... We were 'greeted' with a gruff how many? from the hostess to which we both replied hi to her, expecting a better response from her, but no, she curtly showed us to a table, where eventually we were greeted by our very pleasant waitress, the only thing nice about our experience. It took us a while to get some coffee which was refilled finally when we got the attention of another employee. When our food arrived my hunk of burning love omelet hashbrowns and toast looked pretty decent, and it was minus the fact that im not sure the eggs werent microwaved, but it was edible, I think the sourdough toast was the best part. My friend is brought her surf and turf plate which promised a couple large chicken strips, cod, shrimp and French fries and potato salad. It came with a small chicken strip she said had fish breading on it, a couple butterfly shrimp she couldn't even bring herself to try and some mushy fried cod and not potato salad but Cole slaw. Then there was the french fries I tried personally and all you could taste was grease, so gross!! When the waitress came by she saw my friend not eating her food and asked if everything was ok, my friend didnt really want to complain, but at the waitresses urging, she told her her issues.at that point our very sweet waitress (I wish I got her name, to give credit where it's due) offered to get her something else, they finally settled on a cheeseburger and a cup of chicken noodle soup which came out pretty quickly, soup first. Ut was pretty decent, if not kinda salty, but edible at least. The burger came out and my friend couldn't eat that either, it had pieces of gristle bone fragments she kept having to pull out of her mouth, meanwhile apologizing to me for having to do so in front of me, but I of course understood why. The onions that came out with it were soggy. She ended up taking about 3 bites of the burger before calling it quits on it. She was still charged for all of this barely edible meal, leaving it for the trash, upon saying something to the cashier who asked how everything was she didn't get so much as an apology from the cashier, or wasn't even asked why her experience was unsatisfying. We walked out saying we should have gone to Denny's. We were visiting a friend there, we were up from Portland in an unfamiliar town and there were very few choices available and this is the one we came across, upon walking in it looked great, cool fun atmosphere, but the food and some of the service was very disappointing read more

Great food. Tastes like grandma made it with love. Huge menu with something for everyone. Quirky nostalgic atmosphere with lots of booths, waitresses wear 50's poodle skirts and there is a lot of cool memorabilia. I would give 5 stars but sometimes the servers are just slow and overwhelmed I guess. They are almost always super nice but sometimes tend to be forgetful.
