Food was so so. Bought one of the huge cinnamon rolls...talk about disappointed. DRY AS CAN BE. Service was so so as well. Just because the staff wears poodle skirts...don't expect them to be friendly. They are not. All of them had R.B.F. and looked completely over it. First time at stuffys this morning. The restaurant is dirty and outdated...its march and they still have Christmas decorations up....our server was the best part she was attentive and friendly. Food was OVERPRICED I paid $4 for an ice tea and $11.50 for basic french toast. Our food came out cold and dry. Could not believe the prices for the food. Pancake house is half the price for delicious breakfast. Will not go back. One of my coworkers was just sent home due to being sick from the food. read more

Stopped in on the way to Long Beach, it is a very large place we only waited maybe a minute to be seated. The service was lacking, we saw our waitress a bare minimum amounts of time. The other waitresses that were not ours were rude and constantly rolling their eyes behind the backs of their costumer's. It would be a great place to bring a large group because it is so big.The food was great, I got a taco salad and it was very large and sour cream, salsa, and guacamole all came with no extra charge. First time we visited Stuffys II. We had lunch, tuna melt special was very good with albacore tuna and not greasy. The fries were plentiful and Hot! This place is good but not great. We skipped the gigantic cinnamon bun and had the cinnamon bun French toast, the waffle special (that had the pricing and description crossed out) and the little mess. The little mess stated it came with ham in it, it was very hard to find. And although it is called little, it is still a huge portion of food. The French toast and the sausage that came with it were good, the bacon was a bit over cooked. Our waitress was awesome, but the manager that visited our table lacked serious people skills. My cousins ordered the French today which was big enough to easily feed two people. We stayed in Kelso for a bit and our hotel recommended Stuffy's we went and hated it. We got seated and waited 15 min before our waitress came to ask us what we wanted to drink, then 5 min later came back and took our order. We didn't eat anything big, just a simple breakfast. I had the sausage with gravy biscuit. The biscuit was square and not tasty, the gravy was congealed like it had been sitting for awhile and didn't have much flavor. We hardly saw our waitress and actually had another waitress who was way more helpful to us. Definitely won't stop here again, it's too long of a wait with two small kids and a pregnant momma. Food was meh and overpriced. My children got a small to go cup that looks like it could hold grapes, the straw was more than twice the size of the cup? Very awkward to drink out of. Basic dinner, we thought about getting up and leaving a few times because service was slow and non existent. read more

I had the hot turkey sandwich last week. It was terrible piece of pre-cooked turkey breast, so salty. The entree came with zero sides. This is real brain-dead food. The soft drinks were $3.75!!! My family LOVES Stuffy's! Excellent quality at a reasonable price. We love Stuff and Kool-7 especially! I finally got one of the giant cinnamon rolls for my birthday this year, and while it tasted great, the outside layer was dry and hard and I was hoping for soft and gooey. I never made it to the middle to find out if it was any better, even though I brought it home and ate the leftovers for several days. read more

OMG! Large portions! We went on a Friday night with a large group (30+) and the wait staff were very friendly and efficient. The variety of food was fantastic for all of us picky eaters and did I mention the portions?! The cinnamon rolls were 10 lbs and one was shared by all. Everyone left happy and satisfied. The food here is so good! The only complaint I have is that the prices are a little high. But the portions are out of this world!

First off, for you whiny little girls who cry that you don't get enough food, eat here. Order the "large" Stuff. Seriously. Stuffy's is fun. Crazy 50's decor and dressed up wait staff has a nostalgic feel to it. This is a fun place for breakfast. The egg-a-phobic hubby, our long-term visiting, reformed vegetarian friend Kris and I can go in and share a large "Stuff" and a large "Gob" and the three of us can walk out of there too full to move with two boxes of leftovers on less than $20 - tip included. "Stuff" - hash browns, onions, peppers, bacon and cheese. Comes with gravy (husband is gravy-phobic too). We used to get it on the side, but really, it's better without. A large comes on a pizza tray. "Gob" Elephant ear-esque free form donut deliciousness. Comes with cinnamon sugar or iced. I like the maple iced. A large order consists of two dinner plate sized wads of fried dough awesomeness. They also have giant cinnamon rolls (hehe, I had a typo and originally typed "trolls" hehe) that look good. Must resist ordering "Gob" to try. I have gotten eggs here and ordered lunch once. Lunch was "meh". Other breakfasty things were good. I want to say they have fake creamer on the table. Booo. This place strives to serve a unique experience and they have done exactly that. The walls are an " I Spy" paradise with license plates, elvis, hot rods, and a menu filled with honestly chosen words made me feel excited to sit down. The variety of dishes is capable of handling even the pickiest...er "selective" diners. It was my first time in and I just want to go back for more. Portions are very large...food is good, service is good for the most part, but if you show up late in the morning it gets pretty busy and service slows down a bit, but thats to be expected. The last time i was there the food took very long, and the waitress had told us one of the cooks had dropped our ticket into the fryer, so we were kind of forgotten about....we ended up getting our entire breakfast for free, and we were in no hurry so it all worked out. Three strikes and you are out! We have tried this restaurant three times now. Service is very slow. The sign as you enter says "Please wait to be seated" so we waited and waited. No one was at the register. Finally a gentleman in a Stuffy's shirt asked if we wanted a table or booth, we said either and he seated us at the last booth before the restrooms. Then we waited and waited again for a waitress to bring, menus, silverware, acknowledge us, anything. Finally she showed up with the menus and silverware but did not ask about drinks. Came back and asked about drinks and we were ready to order. And so we waited again. She did finally bring drinks, coffee and iced tea. Waited some more. Food was finally brought. Breakfast corned beef hash was cold, hash browns (which were ordered "well done") were barely warm and not well done at all and the poached eggs were overcooked badly. Waitress finally came back and removed the plate with the eggs, hash and hash browns. Waited again, brought the plate back slightly warmer. Overall, this was another bad experience at this place, never again. read more

Omelettes overdone and dry again. My coffee cup dry for way too long again. I will say that the waitresses sure seem to cater to a couple tables of regulars. Rediculously long waiting times. Called ahead, was told 30 mins. Arrived at 20 minutes, waited ten, asked for update was told 10-15 min, okay, waited again. Watched hostess sit larger and smaller groups than ours for 20 minutes. Absolutely rediculously. Was told another 10-15 minutes after. Never got to have food. read more

I have been coming here since it was at base of Columbia heights. The food has always been good but lately service is horrible. I tried to take my co-worker out to thank her for work she'd done and she got worst treatment ever. Steak dinner came with potato. No Bread, no condiments for potato, no steak knife, no steak sauce. She had to ask waiter for them several times and by then, dinner cold. I've ordered to go several times to eat at work. no napkins, utensils, butter or sour cream for potato or bread and last time no soup which I had paid for. Your people NEED TRAINING. . This time, I got no salsa or sour cream for TACO OMELET. . . Come on people. This wasn't a $3.95 Burger King meal. They at least give out napkins and fry sauce. . . I don't like doing this but I've already called and complained and it happened again. read more

Food is yummy, portions are generous, and the service is always outstanding. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Study's II has a classic diner atmosphere and experience. This is one of my grandfather's favorite places to go in the Kelso/Longview area. He got his standard, a chili burger, and was as satisfied as always. I tried the cinnamon French toast. It was amazing! I especially like how parts of the cinnamon had caramelized and provided a surprising crunch every few bites. I would definitely recommend this plate. And of course, we saw one of their famous giant cinnamon rolls in the case. I really do mean giant. My comment at first sight was that it was "as big as my head"! read more
