If I could give zero stars, I would. This storage company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Rude, dismissive, and totally unprofessional. I guess I missed a single payment for the FIRST time. I was on auto-pay, so there really shouldn't have been any reason my payment was missed. It was clearly a system error or oversight on their end because when I went into their dashboard and clicked "retry payment" with the card on file, it processed just fine. I wasn't even notified of the missed payment until after their supposed "grace period" had passed -- and that's when the mess started. They sent an email explicitly stating that no late fee would be applied if I paid that day. I paid that day. They charged me anyway and then claimed the cutoff was actually the day before. When I asked why they sent out a misleading email, I didn't ask for a refund -- just a basic explanation. Instead, I got snarky, defensive replies via text. No accountability at all. To make it worse, they claimed they couldn't do anything unless I proved the date and time of the email they themselves sent -- as if I was making it up. Insulting, especially since I wasn't even asking for a refund, just clarity. After I forwarded the exact email back to them, clearly showing the timestamp and wording, their response was basically, "Yeah, it says that... but too bad." Only then did they suddenly produce a log of emails -- including the one they claimed I had to prove -- and introduced a completely new explanation about a "cutoff date" and failed payment attempts that had never been mentioned before. They just kept shifting the story instead of owning the mistake. The facility is just as bad. I'm at the one in mid-city, off Wilshire. Their app never works for building access. I couldn't even get into my unit for three weeks because their lock was broken, and since there's no one on site, I had no way of getting in. When I finally reached someone, they acted like I should be understanding because "they were working on it." but couldn't give me a date it would be fix and you better believe I was still paying with no access. But when it's their turn to be flexible -- not a chance. The building isn't weather-tight (yes, despite it being inside an office building! it's still musty), and the locks barely function. Moving in or out takes forever because there's one elevator for at least a dozen floors and you have to share it. It makes moving in extremely difficult and time consuming. Bottom line: they make mistakes, gaslight you when you call it out, and treat customers like a burden. Store your things literally anywhere else. Don't let their move in pricing specials bait you. read more

Terrible! I was given an appointment day to view the location. I took the day off work and then was told the day was no available anymore. So I said its fine I will just go to another place. 3 weeks later im sent a move in day text. I called and said I never saw the property, nor do I have the address so how Can I be moving in. I told the representative I would just rather cancel. Now a month later I am charged 90 dollars and sent messages to move in my stuff. I already found a new storage location. I have been calling to be reimbursed and they all keep giving me the run around. Scam read more

Fraudsters- literally must be organized crime, because what happened is so unreal. Moved one storage unit contents, damaging/destroying my valuable items, without consent or notice, stole and emptied out another, sifted through the 3rd one. Broke all 3 locks and replaced them without telling me. My account was on auto-pay, totally current, they still overcharged me on top of it all. The building has no onsite Stuf employee, so theft seems easy to pull off- especially for Stuf employees or anyone else who feels like it. Broken down elevator, nightmare to access, then their digital key system always fails- if you can manage a cellular signal in a 17 story concrete building, lucky you- but even then, it fails 90% of the time. Pray that you dont have hourly movers or even somewhere to be- it is going to be awhile. Good luck getting someone on the phone- the new AI 'receptionist' cant help you either Disorganized, negligent and trauma inducing experience. Just avoid altogether. read more

This storage is inconvenient to access and never maintained. In the hallways there are restricted pathways and on three separate occasions the lock system was broken and we couldn't access the unit for multiple weeks (when we were moving in). This has been such a headache. read more

Their Key entry system is horrible! You have to log into a website (that is if your not in a building like Los Angeles where it's cement and 3/4 of the time there is no service so you can't log in - then you have to call them - it took me 20 calls in 30 mins to reach someone - that was after I went down to the security where they have the managers cel (Debbie) they called her and said to me to call back they would pick up - 4 more calls until they picked up - then I was told that my account was late - I asked how can it be late when you have m CC on file and I just saw a charge the other day - gaslighting??? They need to provide a real key to enter or have a key pad with a code. Relying on having the client to sign into their website when there's no service more than half the time is truly poor customer support - It thru my day off 45 mins because of the lack of customer support - I called back and once again I was told their billing system is having issues - hummm not the first time I've heard this excuse and not the first time I've been locked out for a long period of time - you'd think they think you're on their payroll so your time doesn't matter if they waist it- gaslighting at its best! read more

She answered all my questions, relieving all my concerns on keeping my belongings secure. It's a central location in a clean and bright space. Affordable too. read more

I saw Stuf featured on the ABC nightly news, and it just so happens I was looking for storage in the area to support my business. Stuf is super convenient because it's close to Beverly Hills, The Grove, West Hollywood, and Museum Row. When I called, Deborah was incredibly helpful in advising me about sizing and move-in. The space is located inside an office building so it's cleaner and safer than any other storage facility I've ever been to. The price was very affordable (cheaper than the competition) and also came with renters insurance and a free padlock. I might get another storage unit as my business grows. read more

We needed a short term storage spot for a business situation and although the situation was complicated Deborah was ready help every single time we needed her to. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service. The signup and exit process was very easy and can be done completely remote.
