Lora is truly the best -- highly recommend. I used to have very low piercings and they looked terrible. I tried getting stacked piercings at Rowan, but the nurse (piercer) didn't really know what they were doing. My ears were poked multiple times, nothing was lined up, and it just looked off. Even though I paid a lot, I ended up taking them out. Then I went to Lora -- she immediately understood what I wanted, walked me through everything, and gave thoughtful recommendations. The result looks SO much better. I honestly wish I had found her earlier. Do not go to places that use piercing guns or devices -- they don't follow your markings properly. Go to Lora.

The piercer smelled strongly like cigarettes while working on my ear (not exactly comforting), and he was really rough with my friend's piercing and kept bumping into her other piercings during the process. Overall the welcoming vibe disappeared FAST and the whole experience felt awkward and judgmental. While the piece is still healing, I am in love with the way it looks and think the fine line work looks amazing. I'd definitely come back to work with Kerrin again, once I decide on where I want my next placement. Note that the studio has moved from Mosaic to Vienna. While I never went to the Mosaic location, the Vienna studio is located in a nondescript office building that appears newly renovated and has tons of available parking. There is no signage on the outside of the building, but you can enter through either the front or back door and go up to the second floor. Inside the studio is clean, cozy, and inviting. I love all the decor, the natural lighting, and especially the live plants in the windows. It felt a very peaceful place to get some ink. On the first floor of the building is a Thai restaurant that sounds awesome, so it would be a great plan to go get something to eat there after an appointment.

Would definitely recommend going to her to get your eyebrows microbladed. You can see all of her work on her instagram (@mybrow247) and the booking process was very straightforward. I texted the number on her instagram and was able to get an appointment for the following weekend. The day before my appointment, she texted me a reminder as well as pictures of the address/building number. Once I arrived, I washed my hands and got my temperature checked. Her studio is clean and I felt very safe the whole time. She customized my eyebrow shape and was very meticulous with the whole process, including checking how my eyebrows would move when opening and closing my eyes. During the process, she explained what she was doing and the tattoo part did not hurt (since your eyebrows get numbed, you can hear the sound but I personally didn't think it was painful). I'm obsessed with the result -- my eyebrows looked very natural and I am excited to see how they heal over the next coming weeks! I also booked a touch up appointment for 4 weeks from now.

I hadn't been happy with them for awhile after over plucking when it was still cool to have those barely there lines for eyebrows. I had this one spot that didn't seem to grow back and I COULD ALWAYS SEE IT. Then my friend used Ash and I was intrigued. Not long after I made a consultation and ya'll, this girl is so great. She asked a bunch of questions to 1) get an idea of why exactly I was interested in powder brows 2) get an idea of what I was expecting to get and most importantly 3) ensure I would be safe, if there were any safety concerns, and walk me through the process. I don't have a tattoo, I had no idea about the potential reactions, and she walked me through the healing process and what to expect. During my appointment she was so calm and relaxed that she made ME relax. She talked me through what she was doing. She checked in on me throughout the process. I will say there were a few parts where my eyes were watering, but overall not a problem. Ash even walked me through the differences between cosmetic tattoos and a body tattoo. (No, tattoos aren't as easy) After my appointment I was ANNOYING. For the first week I think I messaged Ash every day asking questions about "is this normal?" or "does this look ok?". She was always extremely kind and patient. She answered all my questions and even encouraged me to ask more. Ash is truly the best. She made the entire process feel comfortable, she has the patience of an angel, and is truly one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. In the meantime, I looked at this blue topaz ring and like the feel of the ring on my finger. However, the color yellow gold is not my cup of tea. Still, I like the cool blue glow that poured off the ring as light hit it. I look at the cool blue ring and invision my ring with created emerald and amythest in a Yin Yang design. I think of two fox head silhouettes engraved on either side of my ring. I go one step farther and picture a lab created ruby red stones for the eyes of the fox. I picture the ring in white gold, because this is how I want it. Haven't decided on whether it's 10k or 14k gold, but I have time to think about it. Not sure if I will end up getting my ring designed here, but I am glad to know this is an option. My sales associate had a great attitude and was helpful on my questions. I tried on a white gold ring with blue topaz, but it did not have the comfortable feeling on my finger. I like gemstones more than diamonds, so I guess I might not understand the whole concept of "diamonds are a girls best friend," but I can hazard a guess. I will keep this place in mind.
