I would give them negative stars if possible!!!!! My vet had called one other pharmacy before calling Strive, who said they would not be able to get the script done same day. They ended up calling Strive and Strive AGREED to being able to get the medication done the same day. My vet gave them the info and called to tell me they didn't use the first choice because Strive told them they would have it done that day. (This is key to the latter part of the story). After picking my cat up, I drove to the pharmacy in 109 degree temps, dress clothes from work on, at 4pm on a Friday. I had to bring my cat inside for obvious reasons in her kennel. They have 2 guys sitting down at a computer, 1 tech, and possibly the compounding pharmacist behind the counter (couldn't really see). There were 3 of us waiting and 1 cashier helping us. Now, wouldn't you think the 2 idiots sitting at their computers could have gotten up to help the other 2 folks waiting? Oh no, they can't do that because that would be considered good customer service. I finally get waited on, only to be told that it isn't ready. Then finally one of the 2 idiots who was at their computer decides to meander up and tell me "we get the prescriptions and we have to make the medication, so they aren't ready until the following day." Oh really?? Hence the meaning of compounding in the context of their pharmacy? DUH!!! Second mistake of many, telling the customer what happens at the pharmacy. Wow, I lived 55 years with a Masters Degree without knowing what a compounding pharmacy does????? What an idiot. The whole reason my vet called them was because they agreed to get it done that day. Just to try and give Strive some excuse I asked if it was written anywhere that it was to be done today. The idiot looks at a handwritten script and says no. Okay, well I know the vet didn't hand write that script and drive it over to the pharmacy. So whomever took the call from the vet failed to write that down. Now, they could absolutely have made up for it or even TRIED to make it right by quickly saying, we will try and get it done for you right now or within 30 minutes, or how about, we will call the vet right now and see what happened. Nope, nothing of the sort. I called the vet, and they were upset because they knew what was said. The person who called it in said she told them same day (refer to the aforementioned note stating WHY the vet used Strive in the first place). I leave, and then to add insult to injury, someone calls and leaves a message saying, he was sorry for the "misunderstanding." And again explains it takes 24 hours to fill medication. And then at that point says, we will try and get it done after we finish all the other scripts. So if you want it call us back. Misunderstanding?? Strive had the misunderstanding. Did they say they were sorry that they didn't get it right? No, they didn't. No accountability at all. Again, the golden rule, the customer is always right, even when they aren't. They apparently have no clue about that. Why didn't they offer getting my medication done at the time I was inside instead of reiterating how they make their medication????? Hey Strive, here's a news flash for you, CONSUMERS are not stupid, but you all sure are when it comes to customer service! This pharmacy is positively the worst in customer service. After reading the existing reviews that tended to be either terrific or horrible I took note that the bad ones were a year or more ago, and recall the occasions in my life when it seemed something went wrong with a customer or project and became the forerunner of an "if anything can go wrong, It will"situation! Every business has a history of some situations, or perhaps even a period of less than stellar service performance. My experience at Strive at his point in time matches that of the majority rave reviews. That experience began with my new prescriber sending the pharmacy an incorrect phone number, making it impossible for them to contact me about something important, and froze the process!. I went by the pharmacy after the clearly communicated lead time had passed and I had 1 day left on a prescriptions. I will not allow one of them to lapse even for the prescribed lead time of 5 days and risk a "breakthrough" that is hard to repress) What a mess? It was late afternoon when I left the pharmacy, making it clear that I had to have at least an alternative tablet form of the cream based prescription prescribed by the next day. (The one I needed most, of course, was normally in stock because they compound it in batches, but it had just been sold out and they would need 5 days.........Not happy!) The next morning, the manager called. He had come in that morning, heard about the situation, had compounded the cream and handled my entire order himself; all of my items were ready for me to pick up. When I called in my next prescription by phone, I realized my message had not been clear so I decided to text a clarifictation. I received a personal, human-generated confirmation that they had the correct information. The next dayI was notified that my prescription was ready -In one day, not 5. Finally, remember that this is not an "assembly line", "one pill for all" pharmacy that purchases from a manufacturer And stocks mostly pills that have over year long shelf lives. A 5 day lead request is not unreasonable for the special preparations a compounder has to make and keep fresh! A lot of pharmacies provide excellent service. The bonus here is the personal touch of a manager who steps in to make the difference, and who clearly enforces that in the way his customer notifications are actually sent by someone with a name and a personal greeting. On top of that? I actually got 2 of my prescriptions free of charge due to a promotion they were having. A pharmacy having a promotional deal As if we were real CUSTOMERS? I was excited to find this compounding pharmacy and to find that they could provide the prescription I was seeking in the strength I needed at a very reasonable price - when all the "conventional" pharmacies were uninterested in procuring it. When I arrived to pick up my prescription, I was even more pleased to meet Dr. Walker who was gracious, professional and helpful. Such a breath of fresh air! He even was able to recommend a local doctor when I mentioned what I was looking for. Will certainly be back! ...and will be looking into transferring my pet prescriptions too. read more

The staff was so helpful with making sure I was able to get my medication at the lowest cost. They were patient with me as I confirmed insurance coverage and assisted me in getting the lowest price possible for my medication when insurance wouldn't cover it.
