So I thought Val Vista would be a great move for my current and future custom pharmacy needs. Justin has been great at answering some great detailed questions. I now have two doctors sending prescriptions to Val Vista and everything from communication, payment and delivery has been seamless.

Nightmare to deal with and very overpriced. My doctor was sending me to them for several different…read moremedications. Every time I needed a refill I had to call multiple times to get them to actually fill it. I would call one day, they'd say sure we will get that going. Then nothing for days, and I call again and they would say I hadnt called and so it was not even put in! It was an average of two weeks each time I needed somthing. The last straw was them sending a refrigerated medication that was out so long it was hot to the touch, given this is AZ I can accept that, and they agreed to replace it. But then they claim my second medication was in the same bag which it very much was not, and they refused to address that one. This medication by the way I had been asking for over two weeks. I did a price check on my items with other local compounding pharmacies and Val vista was the most expensive in the area across the board by at least 20%! I have asked my doctor to send presscriptions elsewhere because it was always a struggle and bad experience.

I was taken back by all of this bc today's professionals never behave this way anywhere else- but omg, I totally appreciated it! The prescriptions are affordable and they prepare everything pretty quickly.

I've finally reached the point where I'm done doing business with Strive Pharmacy…read more Every single time I need a refill, there's a new problem. First, I repeatedly tell them that I want to pick up my prescription in person. Despite calling to confirm this, I still receive emails and text messages saying my prescription will be mailed to me for an additional fee. If I have already requested pickup, why is the system continually processing it for mail delivery? Then, when I arrive to pick it up, they always require my driver's license. That raises another question: if they were willing to mail this same prescription to my home after verifying my address and date of birth, why is an ID suddenly required for an in-person pickup? The process just isn't consistent. The refill times are another major issue. Their phone system says they're working to fill prescriptions "as soon as possible," yet I've had refills take up to two weeks. For medication that patients rely on, that's simply unacceptable. The final straw happened this week. I received a text message saying my prescription was ready to refill, so I called to update my HSA card for payment. Instead of processing the refill, I was told they couldn't fill my prescription because my provider is not authorized to prescribe this medication. WHAT?!! I've been receiving this exact same medication from Strive Pharmacy, prescribed by the same physician, for the past two years. This wasn't a new prescription--it was the last refill remaining on my current prescription. Suddenly, after two years of filling it without issue, I'm told my provider isn't authorized? The representative's explanation was simply, "Yeah, it's a new thing." That answer makes absolutely no sense, especially when you've been filling the identical prescription from the identical prescriber for years. At that point, I ended the call because I no longer had any confidence that anyone could resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated experience--it's been a pattern. Every interaction with Strive Pharmacy seems to involve unnecessary delays, conflicting information, or a new obstacle to getting medication that should be straightforward to refill. I expect a pharmacy to provide reliable, consistent service. Sadly, that has not been my experience, and I've decided to take my business elsewhere.

My dog requires daily…read moremedication I usually take his prescription to CVS with no issues, I was told they didn't have any in stock there or anywhere else, ok I'll try Walgreens. I drop the prescription off at Walgreens on Monday, here we are Thursday and I have called every day only to get the run around, on minute they are telling me it will be ready in 30 mins, then when I called an hour later they tell me oh no you talked to the call center they don't know anything let me look into this, she proceeds to tell me she doesn't have my dogs prescription on file and has no record of all my calls. Whatever I can get past that, so I just want to move forward, they tell me they only have half the prescription, that's fine I'll take it. I finally get the text I have been waiting for my prescription is ready! Woohoo off to the pharmacy I go. I get there only to be met with a bill for $115 for half a prescription, with CVS I get a full prescription for $37, you do the math, that's a pretty big difference pay more money for half the prescription!!!! What the heck. So I ask what is going on? The lady tells me there is a national shortage of the dose my dogs needs. I can get it in a different dose, but the vet needs to call it in, vet office is closed today. I sure wish someone would've communicated this sooner so this was all resolved a week ago!! I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated with the customer service I received from this Walgreens.
