I've finally reached the point where I'm done doing business with Strive Pharmacy. Every single time I need a refill, there's a new problem. First, I repeatedly tell them that I want to pick up my prescription in person. Despite calling to confirm this, I still receive emails and text messages saying my prescription will be mailed to me for an additional fee. If I have already requested pickup, why is the system continually processing it for mail delivery? Then, when I arrive to pick it up, they always require my driver's license. That raises another question: if they were willing to mail this same prescription to my home after verifying my address and date of birth, why is an ID suddenly required for an in-person pickup? The process just isn't consistent. The refill times are another major issue. Their phone system says they're working to fill prescriptions "as soon as possible," yet I've had refills take up to two weeks. For medication that patients rely on, that's simply unacceptable. The final straw happened this week. I received a text message saying my prescription was ready to refill, so I called to update my HSA card for payment. Instead of processing the refill, I was told they couldn't fill my prescription because my provider is not authorized to prescribe this medication. WHAT?!! I've been receiving this exact same medication from Strive Pharmacy, prescribed by the same physician, for the past two years. This wasn't a new prescription--it was the last refill remaining on my current prescription. Suddenly, after two years of filling it without issue, I'm told my provider isn't authorized? The representative's explanation was simply, "Yeah, it's a new thing." That answer makes absolutely no sense, especially when you've been filling the identical prescription from the identical prescriber for years. At that point, I ended the call because I no longer had any confidence that anyone could resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated experience--it's been a pattern. Every interaction with Strive Pharmacy seems to involve unnecessary delays, conflicting information, or a new obstacle to getting medication that should be straightforward to refill. I expect a pharmacy to provide reliable, consistent service. Sadly, that has not been my experience, and I've decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

I came here to pick up my GLP1 in the beginning of this year, so I assumed the whole process was going require patience because I figured them would be swapped with business this time of the year. I did have to wait 24-48 hours to get a call back when I first reached out which felt stressful, but after I got a call back...everything was smooth sailing for me. I told them I could pick up instead of delivery to save a few bucks and I needed my prescription ASAP. I went in between 10am-2pm when you can have a consultation, but the woman working the counter was helpful enough. I was in and out in just minutes and I am happy with the service. I will keep ya posted when I go back in a few weeks when it comes to getting a refill directly from them and see if I have the same experience. I've decided to take my business elsewhere as this latest episode was 'the last straw' that broke the camel's back. I mean, I have always had a difficult time getting the prescriptions through Strive in a timely manner. But this time, I was waiting for my prescriptions in the mail, and after not receiving it, I was told they were sent to an address that I used to live at more than 2 years ago. They informed me they recently changed their policy and were no longer shipping to PO addresses. I live in a remote part where mail doesn't get delivered to my physical address, so the post office delivers all mail to my po box at their station. Strive decided to change their policy, not inform me, and not ask me what address they should send my prescription to. This was a problem as the medication was lost at that bad address. So I re-ordered it thinking they would simply correct the address and send it to me. Instead, they tried to charge me again, and claimed they wouldn't refund me because it wasn't a Strive Error. I pointed out that they had successfully shipped drugs to me at my address for the past 2 years, and now they decided on their own to use a address that is not mine, and this is somehow my fault. So that is why I will never use Strive and I'm telling others of my experience here. Go someplace else. I found ValVista Pharmacy to be much easier to work with and will mail it to my address. read more

I've been taking 2% Cholesterol/Lovastatin topical cream for Porokeratosis for about 3 years. In October the 240 gram refill arrived in a different shaped container. Thought nothing of it but soon realized after a month of applying that it stopped working. Notified Skin Medicinals who promptly sent another gratis container. Same issue: didn't work. Further investigation of my receipts revealed Skin Medicinals had changed their formulary supplier from Foothills to Strive. I've gone through 3 months of misery because of Strive's incompetence. read more

If you are a provider, send your business elsewhere. I will start by stating that I am a physician and deal with pharmacies frequently. Strive's customer service has tanked within the last year. Previous orders were processed and sent out within 24 hours. It has started taking longer and longer, with my most recent script being called in this Monday, only for Strive to finally get around to it Friday, then never return my phone call when I inquired if I could do a same day pickup. I am leaving for vacation in 24 hours and have no idea how I am going to get a medication that I need. Great job, Strive! Delete my account. read more

Be CAREFUL especially if you pay out of pocket! i recieved this vial (2ml) compounded semiglutide fir $250 noticed immediately it was off and WAAAY less than the previous ones. i was told to WAIT UNtil the end of dose to see if i was short n offered a partial refund or discount- when i did as told they REFUSED to honor either refund or discount gave excuse after excuse even AFTER my doctor herself called. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE n will NOT MAKE there error right or attempt to fix issue. I fought with them for MONTHS have proof of what they offered n now have no choice but to file with board of medicine !!they need to fix there problem with shortening medication !!! read more

Be aware that if you use Strive Pharmacy, their customer service and communication are the worst in the industry. I say this after three refills on one prescription. Each time there were delays of over 5 days, leaving me without my prescription for those 5+ days. The final straw was on my last refill, when I received a notification from Strive that they were preparing the prescription. They emailed me the invoice link, which I paid the same day on 3 March, and then I received an email stating they were working on it. On 12 March, I called to find out the status and was told by a Supervisory Pharmacist at Strive that Strive is no longer working with my provider. After Strive took my invoice payment, I received NO notification by email, text, or phone call that they would not be filling my prescription. And NO refund of the money that I paid. When I asked if I could speak with someone in billing, I was told by the Supervisory Pharmacist that the billing department does not have phones. Not kidding. I would not recommend this pharmacy to a single individual who is a) concerned about the on-time fulfillment of their prescriptions, or b) believes that proactive communication by Strive - a multiple nine figures in profit company - is important. read more

My dermatologist suggested I order this high end, pricey anti-aging product. I decided to try it. After 3 days of use, my skin began to turn red, irritated, a rash developed, itchy and a burning sensation that continues days after I stop using the product. When I requested a refund, I was denied. Customer service is horrible here. They needed more info about the request from my doctor. Rather than contacting the doctor, they sent me a text saying that I need to have my doctor contact them. That delayed everything by a week and they are aready very slow to work with. Bottom line is that after 3 weeks I still don't have my medication. read more

First time they too 8 days to fill a simple script, second time I got a text to pick up, drive 30 minutes to pick up only to find out you have to pay for it before they even start to make it. My telehealth company Emerge Weight Loss Clinic started using Strive Pharmacy, I was a bit apprehensive at first due to horrible experiences that I had with other compounding, pharmacies, and I will NAME them unlike other people that are scared to for whatever reason. If you are on Tirzepatide or Semaglutide do not use Red Rock Pharmacy, and I'd stay away from Empower Pharmacy as well! The quality is always good and I trust this company. They may be a little slow to deliver on your first order but it's worth it.

Twice I've had their bottles malfunction about halfway through. The syringe just stopped being able to pull out the medication. I chalked it up to a one time error the first time and just sucked up the cost of the VERY expensive medication. The second time it happened I called. They told me my 30 day window had passed, even though the meds last me much longer than 30 days. Replacing the remaining amount would be a drop in the bucket for them. Instead they've angered a customer who will now do whatever I can now to not use their services -- and request my docs use another compounding pharmacy. On a positive note the customer service rep was fast and friendly -- but couldn't do a thing for me because of some nameless faceless "supervisor." read more

I have never visited this store in person, all of my transactions have been conducted via mail and online/text. I have found this to be a great reasonably priced alternative to the big pharma names at the big pharmacies. Using Strive Pharmacy for 1 of my meds saves me at least $1400.+ every month cash out of pocket. That having been said, they are extremely slow to process and ship meds so as long as I plan this and make sure to start my next refill about 2 weeks before it's out I don't have any issues in running out of medication. I did have to get my Dr's office on board by showing screenshots that meds were still being processed after my provider thought I surely should have had them already. I would likely move more of my medications for the convenience of home delivery if they could be consistently timely and fill without 2 weeks planning... or have an automated refill plan that ensures I consistently have my meds. So the savings has definitely been worth dealing with a bit of inconvenience. read more

Be aware that filling a Rx is 10-12 business days after paying them so you need to plan ahead on what day you pay their invoice. I didn't realize this, so my planning/budgeting caused me to miss my weekly dose, and based on the 10-12 day turn around time, I may be late on the next dose. Now I need to talk with my health care provider to see what happens/what I need to do because of the missed dose(s). Just another cost that I'm going to be out of pocket for. I also found the email notifying me that the payment was made just another customer service fail--"Please allow 10-12 business days for compounding and processing before checking in with us." (Not that anyone answers the phone anyway and I still have at least 2 days before I'm granted permission to check with them). read more

This pharmacy does not realize that compounding medication is still medicines that patients NEED in a timely manner. The normal turnaround time of 2-3 days has become longer and longer, and is now 7-10 days!! No patient can accept this delay in getting hormone replacement. Side effects become more pronounced! Just when I run out I will go thru a partial withdrawal and have to go thru startup again after each long delay in getting the prescription! I will start looking elsewhere for my compounding pharmacy that can deliver in a timely delivery even if I have to pay more! I suggest you do the same! read more

Very slow process in dispensing medications. Once received, the pumping device was defective and I contacted the pharmacy for a replacement. The dispensing pharmacy was located in St. Louis, MO. They do not assign prices based on quantity dispensed. They assign prices based on the number of days supplied. So if I take it less days per week, the prescription lasts more days and the price is higher. Multiple phone calls to negotiate. Willing to pay $70, ($60 for product + $10 shipping), which is generous for 10 gm. They were unwilling to negotiate. read more

Another update: Auto filled prescription took 7 days to fill. Called and asked to pick it up instead of delivery because I was getting close to running out. The woman said she'd pull it and have it waiting for me. Got a text 12 hours later that it was ready for pickup. I showed up three hours after the text message to get my prescription and it is nowhere to be found. Literally gone. Two staff members looking all over the place for it and it was not in the front where pick up prescriptions were held. They looked for over 10 minutes. They ended up having to refill the prescription again and only gave me 79 of 90 pills that were available because they didn't have any more. Now they owe me 11 pills. I don't know if I will ever see those. This place lacks leadership, training, follow through, and management. Glad my prescription now reads ZERO refills. My business is going elsewhere. read more

I was on the ely Lily brand mounjaro at a 2.5 mg dose. I went to strive pharmacy because insurance stopped covering it. They claim their Tirzepitide is superior. I went on a 7.5 mg dose from Strive and I might as well have injected water. When I contacted Strive telling them, they told me that the medicine stops working after a while. Which is complete bullshit. Strive pharmacies 7.5 mg, three times higher than the dose I was taking from Eli Lilly. Was ineffective and did not work. They are ripping people off bottom line. And taking advantage of people that actually need the drug. They need to be investigated and sued read more
