Glenn took the time to really understand what I needed for my project and guided me through the best options without ever making me feel rushed. What really stood out was Glenn's professionalism and customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure I left with everything I needed, and he made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It's rare these days to find someone who combines excellent product knowledge with such a positive attitude and true dedication to customer satisfaction. They also have an excellent supply of motor control and commercial lighting products. The staff is very knowledgeable, and if one of the counter guys cannot assist you he will find someone who can. Getting custom wire cuts is easy and hassle free. This is not your typical electrical supply house that has one guy behind the counter and you have a long wait to get served. First and foremost, I just want to say that I normally don't write reviews but working with Randy…read moreBenton from Smardan's has convinced me otherwise. We recently bought a home and the bathrooms needed to be remodeled. We are first time homeowners and my husband put me in charge of designing the bathroom, which is a full time job all in itself. We drove from WLA to Fountain Valley early on a Saturday morning to check out their showroom. It's not big and flashy like their bigger competitors but it had the best of what each brand (Grohe, Toto, American Standard, Moen, etc.) had to offer. It was definitely enough to check out each brand's product and design to make a decision but it wasn't so much that it was overwhelming and you can't decide. We met Randy that day. We had lots of questions but had a general idea of which products we wanted in our bathrooms. He was really patient and friendly (even though he was recovering from a cold and had lost his voice) and answered every single question and gave us a quote on the items we needed. I spent another two weeks shopping around and trying to finalize the design. I did tons of research and requested prices from several companies. When it came time to buy everything, I called Randy again and he was more than happy to set me up with a few faucet and shower recommendations when I couldn't decide. I ended up placing multiple orders over the span of a week and had questions on top of questions and each moment of the way, I could count on Randy to guide me in the right direction. He's knowledgeable, friendly and overall a great person to work with. Most of the prices he quoted me were on par or came close to what I found on the Internet. And then there were other items that were priced lower than their local competitors. The advantage over ordering online is that if it's in stock within their company, they can deliver it to you next day, instead of the usual week or two when you order online. I'd rather support my local businesses than the large online retailers any day. It's worth a call to get a quote! I highly recommend Smardan's if you're renovating your bathrooms and kitchen and need fixtures and plumbing supplies. These guys are great! They're friendly, extremely knowledgeable and their prices are highly competitive. The invaluable customer service I've received from this company alone warrants a 5 star rating. Even their delivery guy was friendly and on time! Overall a great company to work with. We could not be happier.
