Not an extensive selection but good basic choices and prices are good as well. They also have some prefab manmade quartz countertops in stock as well. We are doing another large remodel and met our contractor here to look at front doors. They have a nice selection, but unfortunately, didnt work for our house. The prices are very competitive. We decided to ask about 5 doors for inside and were immediately helped by Daniel. He greeted us and asked "May I help you." We spent about 30 minutes, reviewing 3 times the dimensions of the door (since they are special order) and Daniel was so patient. We also signed up to get special offers and emails. We saved about $60 on the five doors compared to Lowes. This is our first visit and certainly not our last. Their prices are better than Home Depot and Lowes. I can say this because we spent hours in both on Saturday looking for items for our remodel. We are coming back to order a front door. Absolutely recommend. But I did come for good prices, especially on bathroom and kitchen faucets, etc.... After comparing to the usual Home Depot, Lowes, etc... they did have better prices although maybe not as much selection. read more

This is a literal warehouse of home improvement supplies. It seems to be more of a place for contractors to get stuff but it is also open to the public. It's enormous! From doors, windows and electric to flooring, granite countertops and plumbing this place has everything for the serious fix-it person. I'm definitely not one of those persons but felt manly just walking around this place. HD Supply is another Home Improvement resource that I use and want you to know about. This is a great place to go if you are remodeling, fixing up place to flip, rent or sell. They're a good store to shop when purchasing windows and sliding glass doors. Many in stock. Also great for closet and other household doors. Their selection has allowed me to pick up these items at a substantial discount over special ordering. Quality on these items have been comparable to other "higher end" windows I have purchased. Many of the other items are builders grade or sometimes one step above builders grade is an option. For the most part they don't have much in the way of "high end" items. What do I like them for: Windows, doors, stock cabinets, prefab countertops, on the house outdoor lighting, bathroom fixtures. cabinet handles, tile - in stock items. Not really the place for plants, bbq items, landscape, power tools, decorative items, custom blended paint, carpet, large and small appliances. Not a place for high end custom items. Although they have some of the above items, as well as most things you would see at other home improvement places. They have a loyalty program, free to sign up - it gives you rebates after purchases - it's a large amount you have to spend though before rewards kick in - what i do like though is they'll keep track of your purchase - facilitating my inevitable returns - I always lose receipts! Service at the front desk is friendly - but you need to ask for help - either at the desk or from one of people on the floor (however there's not many on the floor). They'll help you load your car, and I believe they have delivery available. On one of our visits, we were browsing the parking lot sale items, and my wife's knee started hurting - we got in the car - later when I went to find the items we bought, I realized that we had left a full cart of about 300 to 400 dollars worth of items in the parking lot. Called right away and thankfully someone had turned the cart in and the front desk had it set aside for us. It's just a couple blocks from DT Santa Ana so I'd suggest checking out HD Supply sometime to get an idea of what they carry for when those remodeling/fixer upper jobs come along! read more

Currently frustrated that 6 month old mahogany doors purchased here have cracks in them and it's not covered under warranty and that apparently cracks are normal. I can't imagine if this is happening in California after 6 months what the long term solution is for these wood doors or if they are used in different states with big weather fluctuations. I've never experienced this issue with wooden doors ib my previous homes. The quality of wood is not good and the customer service appears to be not satisfactory either. read more

But the guys that help load our cabinets both times - different employees each time - were rude honestly. So ya got some DIY skills and are interested in saving a few bucks. Is working on your home ripping at your purse (man bag) strings? Well then head on over to HD Supply. Where inexpensive stuff is the norm. This is a sister company to Home Depot but more aimed at the contractor than the general public. A contractor friend turned me on to it and I've been going ever since. Cheap home remodeling stuff! I got 3 custom made windows to replace my 100 year old (really 108) stuff here at 1/2 the price of others I looked at. I also installed laminate flooring at maybe $2.5 sf! I also bought new Quickset door locks at a 50% savings over Ganahal Lumbers advertised specials While most stuff here is not high end, there is plenty of quality cabinets, windows, doors, fireplace, tile, flooring, bathroom fixtures and much more. I walked in to purchase cabinets for a bathroom. I was clueless as to where to get started. This is a big place with lots of product stacked high on the shelves. Everywhere you look there are amazing building products at very reasonable prices. It's the kind of place where you could spend the whole day shopping. Then I met Damian who explained how things worked here. He brought a cart and helped me pick the cabinets - loaded them up and took me to the register to pay. Then to top it off he took the cabinets and loaded it into my car. Prices are fantastic and they are friendly until something goes wrong with one of the products you purchased from them. I have had an iron door for a period of 3 months at a cost of $3000 and the locking mechanism broke. I have been battling them for two weeks to contact the door company vendor. Contacted the door vendor and they are helping me but HD is not reliable at all. I was promised HD supply would send a request to the vendor on Monday. I had heard nothing and when I contacted the vendor they had just received a request on Thurs. I had already been battling for two weeks prior. Today I contacted the vendor on my own and they do have paperwork. HD supply actually asked me if I could bring the door back. The iron doors weigh about 500 lbs and it's installed in my house now. Seriously??? My neighbors also purchased a wood door from HD and ordered a very specific size. When they recieved their door it was not the size they ordered and HD finally made it right but not without a month long battle with incompetant employees. read more
