I stopped by MSI Surfaces on November 12th thinking I'd be in and out in 10 minutes... but then I met Loreto, the marble-and-granite wizard I never knew I needed. I walked in confused and walked out feeling like I could practically host my own home-renovation show. Loreto not only helped me find the perfect materials for my project, he also gave me a mini-masterclass on what to look for. He was patient, funny, and clearly knows his stuff. I came here looking for bathroom vanity counter tops. They have a LOT to choose from. They also sell several of the tops in a "prefab" size. They let you take home up to 5 sample pieces for free, which I love and is a great thing. We ended up finding what we wanted elsewhere but this is a great place with lots of options to checkout. read more

This place is absolutely awful. From the process, to the people, AVOID. There are other places with comparable selection and you don't have to deal with these incompetent people. I've been back and forth (1.5hrs each way) TWICE now because their "system" says my product is in but the actual warehouse can't find the pallet. This place never ceases to amaze me how poorly operated it is. For how many people they employ, I can't fathom how they stay afloat. It's a complete joke. Rude sales people. Rude pickers. Although we have previously purchased products from them, I felt this time around I should leave a review and give props to Aida for her assistance in helping us narrow down million of tile choices to a few that she thought would complement the other tiles we liked. It's a bit overwhelming when you visit the showroom but employees like her make it a bit easier. We got to see how amazing the tiles complemented each other. The review before mine had great things to say about this place, but my experience was completely different. The bald guy with glasses was super friendly and nice, which I really appreciated. But the woman at the front (of Indian descent) was incredibly rude. If you're working in customer service, it's important to greet people with a smile and treat everyone with respect. I get that people have bad days, but that's no excuse to be unkind. MSI, you really need to step it up. On a brighter note, the young Hispanic guy working in the warehouse/pick-up area was awesome. I had the best experience with Rachel, Victoria and Pedro @ MSI, after a very stressful Searc. I am attempting to rehab my kitchen cabinets, countertops, and island. Pedro at the desk was patient, although I went to the store, near closing time. He was so helpful in speaking directly with my contractor Eric, of ELB Does Work in Northridge. Honestly, they were so patient and kind to me. I am not easy, and I can be very picky. Rachel was a Jewel. My slab is perfect! She assisted me in finding the perfect Quartzite slab, and Victoria stayed with us during our search, to move the slabs around so that I could view them. Redoing a kitchen and bathroom can be extremely overwhelming. Then throwing in trying to pick out tile and flooring and it becomes over the top overwhelming.... That was before I met Loreto. I came into MSI looking for flooring off the recommendation of my flooring person. Because it was 100% water proof he suggested I look into it. Walking into MSI I thought I knew what I was going to do for shower tile and kitchen backsplash. But then a whole new window of opportunities was opened up to me. With the extreme patience and help of Loreto I picked out all new tile and backsplash that in my opinion looks so much better than my previous pick. I'm so excited to see it all come together. I usually don't write reviews just to complain, but the customer service here was one of the worst experiences I've had. And it wasn't just me--I noticed other customers waiting a long time as well. When I arrived, I was directed to the showroom and told to wait for Pedro. After 10 minutes, I learned he was on break and was redirected to another gentleman. I explained the quartz colors I wanted, but was told most were out of stock due to tariffs. Fair enough. However, the person helping me kept walking away to assist another customer, leaving me waiting another 20 minutes. When he returned, I asked him to check another stock option--again, the colors were unavailable. What followed was frustrating and unprofessional. I was bounced back and forth between him and another associate multiple times with no clear direction on who was actually helping me. Each time I was asked to "wait a few minutes," which turned into 15-20 minutes. At one point, I was told "just 5 more minutes," but it dragged out to 15 instead. By the time my order was finally processed, I had been there from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.--an hour and a half of unnecessary waiting and confusion. I honestly felt like I was being passed around and not taken seriously, possibly because I looked young and they assumed I wasn't a serious buyer. This was the most frustrating shopping experience I've had, and I cannot recommend this place. If you do choose to come here, be prepared to wait a long time and risk being ignored. read more

I liked the tile on display as it made it easier to picture it in my bathroom. A lot of the tile stores only show you one piece of tile so it's hard to visualize it with grout. If you want to take home samples, you will need to check in at the kiosk in the front to create an account. read more

There are always negative reviews...this is not one of them! Gorgeous showroom. Friendly, welcome atmosphere. Design Consultant, Kyushi Shah was so helpful in helping us find the various products that would bring our vision for a renovated kitchen to life! She was very knowledgeable about each product's performance as well as having a warm, delightful personality. We left with a complete print out of our product selections for our contractor and samples for us. Design centers can be very stuffy, staffed with designers who seem to want to bring their vision for your space to life...not yours! Don't waste your time with them...go to MSI! read more

August 27, 2024, as of todays writing we have waited 2 plus years since installation of MSI Everlife XL Cyrus Series floors throughout our entire house at no small cost. Before the year warranty after installation the floors buckled, cracked, slipped and popped out of joint. The floors were professionally installed by a construction contractor, licensed who frequented MSI for products and is known to MSI. MSI was contacted and sent inspectors and managers to review the damaged , failed product on 2 seperate occasions, MSI went as far as to hire a professional 3rd party inspection company to measure wear, humidity, product installation and foundation, all in a vain attempt to limit responsibility and product quality and shift blame to, its not there responsibility. MSI can shift the blame and responsibility of a failed product who's failure was poor quality product that does not stand up to the warranty, description nor guarantee they so highly recommend. MSI can and will not take responsibility for their product simply because they do such a high volume of work that they can write off poor product and their reputation because just like big companies have done for years , its cheaper in the short term to ignore poor quality , workmanship and product by not holding to a higher standard of work ethic and since my construction costs was not the million dollar contracts they serve , they can ignore the small guy , little consumer , homeowners who's house is all they have. MSI may have a decent reputation and fair ratings, but what distinguishes a company today is how they respond to the 1 offs. The customer that had a problem with their product and how MSI handled giving the customer due process, fairness and quality service of product so highly advertised. We should be weary of MSI and its "true" customer service, if you had work completed with MSI products and they were quality products and didn't give you problems you are blessed, but for those of us who experienced product failure and MSI failure to stand on integrity, and honor to fix what was wrong with their engineered product , MSI is a colossal failure in customer service, integrity and product quality only surpassed by their lack of acceptance of responsibility. I will find it hard to recommend MSI for any contract work and customer satisfaction in the future, based on my current experience and the lack of MSI to follow up with me, contact me or make me whole again. I recommended you do this in advance so someone is dedicated enough to helping you while you are there. The people we requested were unavailable at the time we arrived. We were then passed over to Juan, who was absolutely fantastic! From the beginning, he took his time to hear what we needed and did not rush us. He clearly explained things so we would understand the process and guided us in a thoughtful way. We ended up choosing some beautiful slabs with his help. We purchased the Brooks Meadow Oak Rigid Core Vinyl Plank Flooring from Home Depot, manufactured by MSI Surfaces. It was advertised as waterproof, durable, and backed by a lifetime warranty. Despite proper installation, level subfloor, and normal use, the flooring buckled, separated, and peeled within 3 years. This is a clear product failure -- not user error. MSI refused to take real responsibility, offering only a $55 materials refund while ignoring labor costs entirely. They continue to hide behind limited warranty fine print, even though the product clearly did not perform as marketed. We've filed a formal complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office under Chapter 93A, and are escalating to the FTC, BBB, and public review platforms. We have also reached out directly to Raj Shah, CEO of MSI, but have yet to receive any meaningful resolution. To other consumers: Do not trust MSI's flooring claims!!!! -- and expect no support if something goes wrong. read more

I visited MSI three times over the course of two weeks. During my first visit, I was casually browsing their slabs to get a sense of what they offered. Last week, I was ready to make a purchase and wanted to choose specific slabs. A representative informed me that I could view available slabs online, schedule an appointment, and wear a hard hat, and they would bring the slabs out for me to view. On Friday, I reached out via their online chat to schedule an appointment, and they told me that an appointment wasn't necessary. Then, on Saturday, I went to MSI with the lot numbers of four slabs I had seen online and wanted to view. The sales lady at the slab counter, with curly light brown hair, was unhelpful from the start. I gave her the list of the four lots from their online listings that I wanted to see, and she told me that they were all reserved. I then walked through the entire showroom and returned with three different lot numbers, only for her to tell me that all three of them were also reserved. When I asked her what "reserved" meant, she replied that she couldn't tell me. I then asked if I could view slabs that were not reserved, and she said she didn't have that information. She pretty much said Taj Mahal is highly coveted, so tough luck. At this point, I began to wonder if MSI even wanted to make a sale. I was prepared and willing to buy. Having previously purchased from MSI multiple times, I was ready to buy six slabs for my next renovation. It seemed as though the sales rep wasn't interested in facilitating a sale but instead focused on upholding an exclusive, snooty reputation for MSI. You have lost a long time customer. read more

I usually do not write reviews on any company negative or positive. however I write this as a warning for other not to purchase this companies products directly as they will not honor their 25 year product warranty. my experience with this company was with their LVP products. I has been over a year trying to get them to at least partially refund me for the product and labor and I see no progress at all on their behalf they keep switching representatives who communicate how the process is going to my contractor who professionally installed the product. at this point I feel no other option than to seek a legal resolution due to the terrible experience I have had with this company. please do not find yourself in my position by giving your business to this terrible company. read more
