My contractor tipped me off to this place. I bought a few hundred pounds of landscaping rocks for under $50. The selection is way better than what you'd find at places like Home Depot (they don't even sell the types of landscaping rocks I was looking for), and the prices are really good, IMO. The staff was also really nice and helpful (they helped load the rocks into my car both times I went). Wish I'd known about this place earlier. read more

If you're looking for landscape rocks this the the place. They offer many more products, but this is what we have come for. We needed rocks to fill in our new front yard landscaping and wanted to find rocks in the 2 to 2.5 foot range that were bigger than the bagged ones at Home Depot, but small enough to carry, bring home, and place ourselves. You can go to the middle section, put a pallet down and put your selections in it. When you're ready they come with a forklift and weigh it you pay, and you're on your way. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! I can't believe this just happened. These guys are not honest people and have 0 accountability for their actions. I will never buy from this building material company again. They Charged me over $1200 in rock and wasted my hours of my time and I left with no rock. I bought 20 bags of Rock for a customers backyard job and came back a few days later to buy 30 more of the same rock and they tell me they can't sell me what they have in stock because it's the wrong rock. But They said go to Huntington Beach to get the "right rock" they have it. when I arrived at the Resource building materials in HB they sold me something different that didn't match what the Lake forest store sold me. I returned the rock right away after being charged $560. i called the Lake forest store. Attul said he was sorry for the run around and would "honor" the price and sell me the rock that I originally purchased So I reloaded the 40 bags and rock and went back to the lake forest store. Already wasting well over an hour of work and money spent on gas. I Pay another $560 for the rock they originally sold me "which was supposed to get sent back idk some BS story" they get half way done loading it and Attul comes out and says this isn't the right rock. / Something is wrong. And pulls it out of my truck. They walk around the lot for 45 min looking for the right rock. ATTUL then goes and get the wrong rock "wet" and says look this will work the customer wouldn't notice.. i looked at him and said you're kidding what happens when it's not wet... totally different texture of rock.. So it turns out they messed up and loaded the wrong rock originally and now Im being delayed on the Job and CANT finish the job with the same rock unless I want to pay twice the price to get the Job done. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? The guys in the lake forest office now want to come to the job site and pick up the rock from the customers house. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere... read more

We would definitely recommend this place for landscaping rocks. We looked at one other place in south Orange County and Resource had a better delivery fee and could deliver on Saturday morning (which was key since my husband and I did all the work). Impressive. A large selection of supplies in a large yard. Lots of help. We came in to redo our lawn to low water gravel. The selection of materials is impressive. The advice invaluable. They supplied all my needs, confirmed my materials estimates, wrote me up and got me going. This is not a big box store. This is a contractors supply house, so they are seriously busy. You need a bit of time and patience. It is worth the inconvenience in cost savings and expert help. Three trips in a pick up tuck were needed. The yard crew was careful, attentive and polite. The entire team was very helpful from beginning to end. The office staff team advised me on what I needed to do to get the flagstones I wanted and help me calculate how much I needed. Fernando physically moved each of the heavy flagstones to help me find the ones I was looking for. He took his time to make sure I was happy with each pieces. Another gentleman (manager) near by came over and helped pick out more pieces that I was looking for. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!. This place is the best. We needed washed arena sand in a tight time-frame and this company got it done! We visited their Cherry Ave site and ALL the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Susie answered all our questions and followed up to make sure we received the requested spec sheet within minutes. Our tight delivery window was accommodated and they found a way to fit us in within three days of the order. The sand was delivered yesterday and the driver/forklift operator was superb: cheerful, competent, and he took care to place the sand exactly where we asked.
