It is a superbly well stocked electrical wholesale house, but they will sell to walk in home owners such as myself. There are dog treats behind the counter for the pups. The prices are very good, perhaps they can't always compete with Home Depot on copper products, bet everything else they can often do better than the Depot. They also have an excellent supply of motor control and commercial lighting products. The staff is very knowledgeable, and if one of the counter guys cannot assist you he will find someone who can. Getting custom wire cuts is easy and hassle free. This is not your typical electrical supply house that has one guy behind the counter and you have a long wait to get served. Hanks has several counter personnel and if the line gets long, someone will come to assist. I have been coming here since 1982 and have known 3 generations of owners, including the founder, Hank.

I can't say enough good things about Glenn at Larry's Building Supplies. From the moment I walked…read morein, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. Glenn took the time to really understand what I needed for my project and guided me through the best options without ever making me feel rushed. His expertise is outstanding--he knows the products inside and out and offered practical advice that saved me both time and money. What really stood out was Glenn's professionalism and customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure I left with everything I needed, and he made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It's rare these days to find someone who combines excellent product knowledge with such a positive attitude and true dedication to customer satisfaction. If you're shopping at Larry's, ask for Glenn--he's the kind of person who turns a supply run into a great experience. Highly recommend!

This location here is where you actually purchase and pick up the supplies. We were able to find everything we needed for our projects at Thompson. We made several trips; scoops of base and sand, sacks of material, and pallets of pavers. Fairly quick to get everything too, not a long wait ever, if any. The staff at this materials location is definitely not as friendly or helpful as the Design location, but then they aren't trying to get your business, at this point they already have it. The people at the counter are still nice enough and fairly helpful, depending on who you talk to. The workers in the back getting the scoops and pallets are quick and get the job done fast, they are the backbone! Pricing is great! And took hardly any time to get what we needed. Keep in mind you have to actually look at the designs and decide what you want at the Design location then order and pay for your items at this location, so that's where it got slightly confusing. And maybe because on our first trip there, the computers were down, so things were a bit amiss. However, if just getting scoops or non-design items then you can go directly to this location to get that type of material. See? It's a bit confusing, but you'll catch on. If we can, anyone can! See you next time!
