I've been here twice and they've come in clutch when I needed something ASAP and without waiting for it to be shipped. I looked up the item I needed on their site and the nearest Grainger that had it available same day was down the street. I was able to pick it up within 30 minutes. Super easy and professional. Grainger needs to do some work on answering the phone. I was in a hurry, had a machine down and needed to know if they had the VERY COMMON bearing in stock. First thing you get when you call is an ad telling how great Grainger is. Then you listen to a recording asking if you would be interested in participating in a survey at the end of the call which includes the keypad prompts to participate (I am in a hurry and getting annoyed). Then a person comes on the phone and wants to know my full name....and then wants to know which company I am with, seriously?!?! I need to know if you have a bearing in stock, if not, I need to move on the another local bearing house. The person helping me could not find any local stores stocking the VERY COMMON bearing. McMaster had it in stock, Sunset Industrial had it in stock and I ended up getting one at Orange County Bearing after calling and having Allen answer the phone in person with no questions or ads. read more

Subcontractors beware. Every time we order from Grainger they promise us quick delivery or pickup. Then they don't produce. Their deliveries and pickups will both take several days or weeks longer than they tell you. They are not an honest company. Our projects are time critical. We've been burned by them too many times, we are done buying from them. read more

When you walk in you will be expecting a warehouse set up where you can browse and find what you want like other big box stores... not the case here.. there are limited displays with an assortment of items on the perimeter of the space. It is a big mistake to order material online from grainger to be shipped! I ordered a few expensive abs industrial work bench tops, from zoro, (apparently grainger's online outlet?) and they (grainger) shipped a visibly "damaged" 5ft table top!!!! ($500) It looked like it had ben rammed by a forklift on the side, and split 3" into it, crushing the side! some jerk actually put a sticker to cover some of the damage!!! wtf? and I paid full retail!!!! and grainger really "GOT THINGS DONE" boy I just love hearing that crap, got things done for their store!!! not the public or paying customers !!!! morons!!! And I have to sit through that darn commercial every 20 minutes saying how grainger gets things done!!! after being screwed by grainger!!!! No morals! I ended up pulling it out partially straight with a hammer and wrench and using epoxy. It should hold so I did not pay to return it. Seriously what idiots ship damaged goods to full paying customers!!! most honest companies mark damaged goods down and sell them at a discount... This place is amazing! I ordered some tubing online and it wasn't quite the right size. They helped me through the process of measuring and figuring out what I needed. I actually had to go in twice because the first time I went in they did not have the size I wanted. But they emailed me to let me know it was in and when I got there another person helped me, but they were equally helpful and knowledgeable. For someone with zero experience with tubing, they made the process very easy for me. read more

You can seek out a competitive quote on items you are looking for. Grainger has a huge variety on operational supplies, plumbing supplies, safety supplies, environmental supplies and general warehouse and office supplies. They usually carry items in the store or they have them one or a few days out. They are closed Saturday unless you pay $50. I Typically dealt with friendly and reliable people on quotations, purchases and invoices. I would give this particular location a 4, and a 4.5 to Grainger as a whole. read more

If I could give more than a 5 star review for this company I so would! I have had the best customer service experience with them than I have had in a long time. We were looking for a specific part for a project that we needed and I needed it ASAP. I called the main number and I was assisted by one of their tech people who was very professional and found me exactly what I needed. The problem was that the store was closing in 5 minutes and I wasn't going to make it on time. They emailed the store and not only did the store respond after hours but they even waited for me after they were closed so I could come and pick it up. I was greeted at the door by Javier who was my knight in shining armor and had the parts I ordered and made sure that I had everything I needed as well so I didn't have to come back a 2nd time and delay the project even further. I can't say more about what a lifesaver that Javier was to me last night and I thank him for going above and beyond. You have to know what you're getting with Grainger... Basically a huge catalog with everything in it from motors to safety supply. The upside: the retail person can get their hands on most anything, and everything is a day or less away. The downside: their pricing is not for the faint of heart. You're paying for availbility and selection - you're not getting a deal. read more

Went here for an ac part that I needed and the lady that helped us out was super nice and polite. She ordered the part for us and we had it the next day. Originally had gone to Johnstone next door but they apparently only sell to companies not just individuals so I am glad I found Grainger. I ordered specific hinges from this location for a very time sensitive project. I specifically ordered 8. When I went to pick up my order 3 days later when it came in, there were only two on the order. So frustrating. I order 6 more, and only one more hinge came in on time, the rest are now arriving later from a different place and cannot be used for my project because it's too late. Such a waste of my time and money all because of an employee error. Will not return my business here. read more

Then they decide to take will calls and serve someone standing 5 spots besides. Then I wait around at express pickup and everyone that was waiting behind me gets served again.
