Until today I probably would have given them 4 or at least 3 stars (lower because of frequent price increases). The place is clean, usually has enough carts, has a convenient bathroom, and my stuff hasn't been taken. Today I get there at 6:05 pm, and there is this sign on the gate. So I can't get in. The office is closed - apparently it closed very promptly at 6. I could have been there earlier if I had known - like if they had sent an email informing me of this rather significant change. They clearly have my email, as they keep sending me emails telling me the rent is going up. But no, I had to drive there and home for nothing. Not happy. read more

I've been renting here for years, and the access-hour issue has become unacceptable. The property advertises access from 6 AM to 10 PM, yet for the past few months tenants have been told they need to leave when the office closes at 6 PM and that access is only during office hours. If access hours are being changed, that needs to be formally communicated and updated everywhere it's advertised -- not handled verbally by staff or by a piece of paper taped to the gate keypad. There have also been repeated issues with the on-site manager, Dana. I personally had a problem regarding my service animal when she instantly yelled at me that dogs were not allowed on the property and would not listen to anything I had to say. I ended up leaving and contacting the district manager, who clearly told me that service animals are allowed on the property as long as they are leashed and said he would speak with her. Dana had also put up "no animals in the building" signs, which mysteriously disappeared the day after I contacted the district manager. Lastly, I've had two rent increases within one year and am currently paying around $280 ($300 with late fees), despite requesting multiple times to move my payment due date to better match my pay schedule and being ignored. Meanwhile, the exact same size units online are listed between roughly $108-$170. I've been at this facility for over three years and have watched it steadily decline. At this point, management either needs to honor the 6 AM-10 PM access customers are paying for or clearly update the policy. read more

They get you to rent at reasonable rate then stick it to you shortly after. They raise your rate from what they say is market value but fail to let you know that they plan to do that when moving in. A $600 a year hike in rent is ridiculous. Basically they charge you what ever they want and increase it twice a year based on corporate earnings I would imagine. Poor business model and practices. Would not recommend this place but for real short term use only. read more

A lot of problems with this company, and specific location. For one, the price increases are frequent and outrageous. You'll likely pay double what you signed on for within a year or less. Second, the access itself is misadvertised and misleading as well as illogical. This facility is far from 24/7 access, despite paying rent as if it is. Why we can't enter a gated locked facility to enter our unit at all hours is beyond me, but at least update the access to something more reasonable than 6am to 9pm! Even my gym has better hours than that. Finally, you have to enter a code AGAIN just to exit the parking lot you entered a code to enter, which makes zero sense. Just use a motion-activated sensor to let folks exit without entering a code, since it's obvious they had one if they got in to begin with...all around stupid procedures at this facility which make the whole process frustrating. All just to access your belongings with the absurd rent you pay for! read more

I'm sad to write this review because I really liked this place. The area is pleasant, facilities seem secure, brand new building, & the staff are extremely lovely. I had a smaller unit for about a year- 6 months in they immediately raised the rent on me. I called to get this fixed and they did some work to lower it. I then needed to upgrade to another unit, the staff member said there's a special where my first month would only be $1. This never occurred and I was charged the full $240. Additionally, they have raised my rent to $270 with no notice- just less than 3 months into upgrading. They havent picked up my calls or responded to any of my emails. I don't like writing negative reviews but they really gave me no choice. I hope to deter anyone away that wants to deal with a business that doesn't respect the financial agreement, wants to get ripped off, or ignored ! read more

This place is shady business. I had the unfortunate circumstance of having to rent a storage space from them for 3 months. During the second month I measured the storage space to see if I could fit some extra items in and I found out that the they were charging me for a 5'x10' that wasn't even that size. They were shorting me 5 square feet. Since I usually drop by after work later in the evenings I didn't address it immediately, shortly after the square footage discovery I then received a notice that after two months they were raising my monthly rent. I cleaned out the unit as quickly as I could and took my business somewhere else, you might want to also. That is unless you want to do business with a company that over charges and underdelivers on the product they provide. read more

Reserved a new unit, packed up my car, drove 25 mins in the rain. When I got there the employee working the desk told me they were eating lunch and to come back in 45 mins or the next day. Plenty of other self storage solutions in the area. If this is what it's like to try to give them money, I'm not keen to learn what service is like after they have my CC on file. read more

Five months in and rates have been increased 15%. Still below market, but a steep jump already.

This review comes only after being unable to resolve the issue directly with the management/owner of the facility. I have brought up my issue, no lie, more than 10 times. (I will start by saying that the manager of the facility is nothing but nice and helpful. I think she has tried to resolve the issue on my behalf but her hands are tied by the owners.) The issue is that the lights in the storage facility are on a timer based on movement in the hallway. Which I get. If there is no movement, the lights will go out since it figures there is no one left on the floor (floor 3.) But the timer is set to a ludicrous 3-5 minutes before the lights extinguish. The movement sensors are placed very far apart and will go out after not sensing my movement down the hallway. There are no windows on this level and it gets near black in my unit. Every 3-5 minutes, I must then walk about 25 yards down the hallway to re-trip the timer and have the lights turn back on. On a normal visit, I have to walk up and down the hallway 5 or 6 times to simply have light. I have resorted to bringing a flashlight with me for light. I have requested that the issue be resolved to allow more time before the lights extinguish- like even 10-15 minutes. Or to install another sensor or two to sense movement. Each time I complain I am assured that an electrician will come out to fix the problem. Nothing is ever done and I am feeling like a nag. So, I feel like I must just accept that I will not get get any resolution regarding this manner. This review is a last resort after double digit complaints. So... just be aware that if you lease a storage unit on the third floor, and if you are not right underneath the one or two sensors in the hallways, you will be in the dark most of the time. read more
