They have options on pricing and they are super easy to deal with. Everything is upfront with no back end surprises. Tony is the manager and my point person, he's very knowledgeable and professional, plus a super nice guy. I feel all of our possessions are very safe and I appreciate the two lock system they use. If you need a storage unit check out A-America the hours are convenient for getting to your unit and the process is easy and secure. This has been one of the most frustrating and dishonest experiences I have ever had with a storage facility. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering renting here THINK TWICE before signing a contract! I rented a storage unit on October 20, 2026, and literally THE VERY NEXT DAY, I received a letter notifying me that my rent would be increasing effective November 20, 2026. That's right -- ONE DAY after signing my rental agreement, this company was already notifying me of a price increase that would take effect just ONE MONTH after I moved in! How does a company justify advertising one price, getting a customer to sign a contract, and then immediately turning around and increasing the rent? In my opinion, this is a classic example of BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING, and it is absolutely unacceptable! To make matters worse, trying to get someone at this facility to answer the phone is practically impossible. After multiple attempts, I finally reached someone who told me they would investigate the situation and call me back within 1-2 hours. Of course, that never happened! Instead, I waited approximately 4-5 hours before finally receiving a call. And what was their resolution? Absolutely NOTHING! I was informed that after reviewing my account, the rent increase would remain valid. To add insult to injury, rather than trying to resolve the issue or retain a brand-new customer, they actually offered to send me the paperwork to VACATE THE UNIT! ARE YOU SERIOUS? THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT A CUSTOMER WHO JUST SIGNED UP? The manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and showed absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. There was no genuine apology, no attempt to make things right, and certainly no accountability for this ridiculous situation. What makes this experience even more disturbing is that I had barely been a customer for 24 HOURS before receiving notice of a rent increase! If this is how they treat brand-new customers, I can only imagine how they treat their long-term tenants. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORAGE FACILITY! Do not be fooled by their advertised rental prices. Based on my experience, the price you sign up for may not be the price you end up paying even a month later. This company should be embarrassed by its pricing practices, lack of communication, and complete disregard for customer service. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! There are plenty of other storage facilities that actually value their customers and understand the importance of transparency, professionalism, and honoring the expectations they create when someone signs a rental agreement. My review for this Public Storage location in summary: Positives: Public Storage is a national brand and a few relatively professional staff, nationwide locations and convenient features like auto payment app. Negatives: Storage rent increases frequently and is not competitive with other storage facilities. The storage unit place has many flaws, floors and walls aren't marked so it's easy to get lost, maze like unit numbers are not sequential, not in order. Some doors in the hallways tend to self lock, blocking your path to the exits. There is no air conditioning, no fresh air. During a few hours of loading, unloading and organizing you will get shortness of breath and perspire profusely. To conclude, if there were other options at the time prior to renting this facility, I would not rent Public Storage in the future. The overall staff are helpful but upon my move out, the staffer named Victor who stayed a while to help my sister and I clear out the hugh empty wardrobe boxes into a hidden dumpster they did have but NOT available for customers. Victor helped post exit sign to help us navigate through the maze like hallways to find our way to our unit and to the exit elevators. And more importantly, after having my unit here for over 3 years, most Items were in tack and secure despite the homeless people that loiter the area. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a storage company. Our unit has flooded…read moremultiple times, and while we were offered a different unit, it was only at our own expense. It is moist and mildewed in my unit and smells when you get off the elevator. Then in February, we were robbed, and we just found out TODAY 7/19/ 2025--months later--when we discovered a brand-new Public Storage lock on our unit. We reported that our key no longer worked, only to be told our UNIT had been broken into. Shockingly, they had video footage of the robbery. Even worse--they never contacted us and failed to file a police report, despite knowing that several units, including ours, were hit. We were told someone allegedly rented a unit just to get the gate code and access other units. The contract they make you sign conveniently removes all liability on their end, while prices keep increasing--I'm now paying nearly $500 a month. Their only solution? "Call the insurance company." Absolutely unacceptable. At this point, I'm questioning whether this is an inside job. Beware of this company.

STAY AWAY!! Our storage unit was broken into and ROBBED. All our boxes were gone through and they…read moreput a new lock on it. Clearly they were planning to come back. In order to get into the parking lot you need a code and in order to get to my floor you need a code. So someone with a code robbed us. I asked the guy at the desk if he looked at footage from the day he noticed our lock was replaced and he replied "no". I'm shocked there was no concern for this invasion and he just handed us a sheet to get an insurance claim. He would not show us footage just the police. When the policeman arrived he said " I come to this building a lot for robberies". I am shocked and devastated. I thought that was the idea of having a unit that your things were safe. Go to A-1 American storage. there's one way in and one way out and they have double locks. You have to get the key from them. This one has a staircase that makes it easy for the robbers (of which there are many here) to leave.
