They advertise the first month is $1... well that is a bit misleading... no matter what day of the month you begin renting you are charged $1 plus the admin fee to start everything... on the first of the next month... rent is due... but not pro-rated to reflect the full month of the discounted days remaining for the special pricing you receive... so.. if you rent on the 1st of the month... you get the full month... if you rent on the 28th of the month you get 2 days... which is no where close to the first month being $1! 2. Gate hours per the lease end 8pm all but Sunday which is 7pm... mind you not posted inside anywhere obvious... but they tell you when signing the lease you need to be out by 7:45/6:45 or there is a $150 charge for exiting late... 3. You call outside of normal business hours... even if gate not working during times specified on lease due to access issues that according to the lease should not be happening... you reach a recorded message stating all calls after office hours that are non-emergency will be charged $100 and that date issues are not considered an emergency!!!! This is the least of it! More reviews to come regarding the legal issues surrounding being denied access regardless of the letter of the law... dealing with rude... incompetent management... Worse experience ever. Beware of overcharging, beware of rude and hostile staff. the office manager…read moreis very rude, on a major power trip. Him and the owners will threaten to send your units to auction if you dare question any charges. when they have full power and control over your belongings they will try and control you threaten u with selling every th ing. they will bully you I've even witness them making people cry. we refused making anymore payments after noticing questionable overcharges so they locked our units and kept charging and billing us. And threatening to sell our belongings we tried paying and they refused, they refused to give us information on where and when our items would be auctioned. After doing our own research we find out one of our units was currently being auctioned so we bid and won the bid when we show up to pay the balance they were so angry they were cussing and threatened to call the police when we told them to go ahead we did nothing wrong he refused to take payment and told us he was going to cancel the transaction and told us to leave his property. So a day or two later we call back to see what was going on and he told us to go pay the balance and we only had til the next day to get everything out. Well normally everyone is given 72hrs but since he wasted the two days trying to cancel the bid he punished us with 24 hrs only but his 24 hrs turned into 2pm when we weren't able to get everything out by 2they punished us for finishing by 5;45pm( even though they closed at 6pm) and kept $100 from our $300 cleaning deposit we had to pay as soon as the final winning bid was confirmed. When we asked when our other units would be auction off they refused to give us that information. Shortly after we see our 2nd unit (I failed to mention we had a total of 3unit) so we place a bid on our 2nd unit and the bid remained at $70 until shortly after biding was just about over the bidding war begin and the price went to over$ 1500 and sudden the website issued a sorry something went wrong error and we lost the bid. They are liars, crooks, shill bidding controlling rude cussing conniving and vicious people save yourself the heartbreak and don't trust your hard earned items, treasured memories and your lifetime of irreplaceable possessions in the hands. This place had the best prices locally and was down the street from my new place. The facility is a bit older but well-kept and as a disclaimer, is not an indoor air conditioned storage building. They are storage units that are covered and enclosed in steel corrugated walls. Not an issue with furniture, just make sure you cover your items or box them since it can get dusty (there is a lot of dirt and gravel surrounding the area outside the facility). This does keep the price down and the units vary but have very high ceilings so you can stack things to maximize space. Management is friendly and they do a good job at keeping the area secure and clean. I actually talk to them quite often and they're very cool! Not sure why others are saying they're rude.
