Cheap storage prices but terrible customer service nobody answers the phone and when I got there 1 minute before 5 they didn't open the gate at all for me I had honked the horn for 15 20'mins straight and I seen someone come out the office to go hide and play it off as if they couldn't hear me honking the horn!!! read more

Have raised the rates every year for no reason. I pay almost double now from when I first got it. Have had the biggest one for almost 8 years now, with no discount for auto payments, just raised rates every year. Even when there was a Fire and Water damage, the next year, raised rates. read more

Do not go with Public Storage. Total RIP-OFF. They've raised my rates to where I'm now paying $155 a month for a small 5 X 5 space. Not even climate controlled. They only thing Public about Public Storage, is that they are a Publicly Traded Company on the Stock Market, who obviously only cares about making there shareholders happy.... read more

I went to the site after I rented the spot(online site unseen) for my brand new travel trailer, it was a matter of price point. Now I know, like anything, you get what you pay for. This place looks like a junk yard. And homeless have an encampment on the other side of the fence. I spoke with Alice and mentions a few concerns, her responds was "You rent at your own risk" This business should be ashamed for what they advertise and what the property actually looks like. I never took my trailer over there, I called to cancel and lo and behold they are keeping all the money. 3 days and the trailer never entered their property. It just goes to show you the scum ball that runs this place. I wish a negative star review was available. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOU ITEMS!!!!! read more

DO NOT STORE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! This location is extremely poorly managed and has no ability to or interest in keeping your vehicle safe. Homeless people broke into my vehicle to sleep inside. When I brought the issue up with the district manager, and explained that areas of the site were missing barbed wire, and how the homeless were making their way over the fence, he was completely aloof and only pretended to address the issue. Over a year later the situation remained. When I finally had enough of the exorbitant monthly rates and poor service I came to remove my vehicle, only to find my vehicle had it's catalytic converter cut out. Just absolutely a trashy location, with a trashy district manager who should have lost his job a long time ago. read more

5 stars for Star! The sweet, professional, and incredibly helpful woman who got me set up with my storage unit! They had a great deal going where the first 2 months are half off (which is great because that's that's I need). Their security seems top notch and they offered us the use of a flatbed dolly to move things from our truck to storage. It's also a uhaul location! Super convenient! Grounds are spotlessly clean and it was very quiet when I visited aside from the somewhat loud sounds of other people moving into or out of their storages. read more

Was in this place for just over a year. As soon as the new Master Storage opened I left this place. The units are not well sealed and dirt comes in and settles all over our items and the walls. Mouse infestation was so rapid they handed me a couple of poison bricks to take care of it. The girl just happened to have a envelope full of bricks handy at her desk. I do t think that was random and unplanned. When I cleaned out my unit it was so bad. Mouse droppings stuck to the furnishings. All over the floor and furniture blankets. Even the covered furniture was The customer service there on weekends is horrible and it comes with a bad attitude. The girl there has her baby in the office alone while she sits out in her car. I've witnessed this several times. Why does she need to be in her car? I was there for about 15 minutes today she was in her car when I arrived and she was still on her car when I was about to leave. The baby was in the office alone. I know this because I had to go inside the office to close out my account. I've never seen them walk the premises. Everyone I've been to the new place they are always checking things out and making sure you are good. Purely Storage is horrible in Madera. You don't even have a corporate contact. Just some random email address that does not get answered. Don't store there!!!!!! read more

After waiting an unreasonable amount of time for someone to get here this woman gave me attitude after she got here, made zero apologies and didn't even have my unit ready. The property manager is very helpful, as it's my first time using a storage unit she walked me a long of everything I needed to know, she's very knowledgeable and helpful. She seems to be very organized and maintains the property very well, cleaning up after other making sure everything is orderly. The process was so easy and I'm able to access the property from an app on my phone which makes everything much more helpful and an added bonus for such a nice facility. read more

Beware. Do not park your vehicle outside near the back fence at this storage. The railroad tracks run right on the other side of the fence. Someone threw rocks over the fence and broke 2 windows on my motorhome. I am so pissed 1 window has to be special made. Crappy place to store a vehicle. read more

I have held a storage unit with this facility for the past three years. The first year and a half or so I would say went pretty smoothly. However since then I have ran into multiple problems. My unit was broken into about a year ago. Not only was I not notified I was also charged to replace the lock. Rates have also been raise approximately four separate times since I started with this company. When I first got my 10x10 unit it was $98 I now pay $126. They also do not notify me upon raising fees. When I called to ask why my fees had been raised there was no answer, so I left a message but never received a call back. My husband later called, and received a call back. The returned call actually left me more troubled then before. The woman whose name I believed to be heather, blamed us for not knowing about the raised fee claiming we must have thrown away the notice they sent out. (Completely unprofessional) Not to mention I am newly married and no where on my files do I have listed that I have a husband so I am a bit curious as to why information about my account was so freely discussed. Needless to say we are beyond frustrated with this company's lack of customer service over the years and will be switching soon. It genuinely is our fault for sticking with such a poor company for so long hoping things would change. I suppose this is the last straw. We suggest Darrel's mini storage. They might be a better fit!! read more

oh my God stay away from this place, when we rented the storage unit they said it was safe and gated and they had security cameras 1 week later someone unknown emptied out our unit and no one knew anything about it no one saw the cameras did not work . Horrible service, employee is more concerned with a rating then actually helping the customers! I was not notified that my unit was in auction so I lost my personal papers due to this!!
