The reason I chose this location was the flexibility in hours, i understand my rights as i am part of a legal firm that practices in contracts! Keeping a prepaid payment for 2 days due to you changing the locks to upgrade your system is an illegal lock out, especially when i request to be let known which specific date you changed my locks. The other staff there are amazing, Emma is very unprofessional and disrespectful ans has no customer service skills, she couldnt even carry a conversation with me in the office! She acted as if i was burdening her even for a receipt!​

They're local to the central valley so I try to stick with local vendors. It was the next day when they finally reached out. I spoke with Donna who gave me a quote of up to 5 hours, which previous moves never took longer than that, and quoted me what up to 5 hours would cost. Before the move I called and requested 4 garment boxes which they said would add to my file and bring on moving day. On moving day they did not bring the garment boxes and had to use several of my boxes and they shoved my clothes in the boxes causing my nice pressed clothes that come from dry cleaners to become wrinkled and needing to repress. Moving day came and they were on time. Apparently there was a new person and then during my move an office staff person showed up for about 30 minutes to watch them move my stuff. The new guy was not sure on certain things so it slowed them down a little. We went to my storage after that which took them about 45 minutes to get there. Should not have taken more than 30 minutes. It took me only 18 minutes from first stop. Again moving stuff out of storage the new guy was slow. When moving stuff out they dropped my grandmothers box of silverware and damaged the box a little. They just kind of threw the silverware back in there and put it in the truck. Once we got to final destination there was a lot of double handling of stuff which again added time. During the move they damaged the frame to my extra room closet and because of the time, I just told them to store all the boxes in one room. It ended up being 6.5 hours and almost 300.00 dollars over the price quoted. They said they were going to put my table together, but because I knew they were over a lot of time and I was already frustrated by this time because of the carelessness and the slowness of the move I said forget it I will do it. When I reached out to the company after the move they were slow to respond and I told them all the stuff that happened. After some time they responded that they would send me a 300.00 voucher for future services. I declined the offer stating I will not be using their company again. I then just requested at least a refund of an hour for all the trouble and the slow worker. They again waited to respond and I kept reaching out. They responded that they would give me 25.00 Visa card for the damaged box and I just needed to send pictures. The professionalism of this company is a disgrace and I would not recommend them to anyone. They disregarded all the issues that I endured. Please do not use this company.

I went with Master Movers because they are one of the few movers in Fresno with proper insurance and licensing, offered the lowest quote, and had great customer service when booking (thanks Terry!). Honestly, the rate was so competitive that I was skeptical anyone would show up. Thankfully they did and they were AWESOME. Abi and Armando loaded the truck, drove ~1 hour to Merced, and unloaded all within 4 hours. They were punctual, efficient, careful, and professional. My items all arrived in one piece and no damage was done to my home. When it came to payment, I was charged the low end of my quote with no hidden fees. These were the best movers I've ever had - 100% would use them again!

A walk-through visit and then nothing…read more. Thought it odd that "our" local agent for Mayflower was located in Fresno and we are on the central coast. Anyway .... the guy came out and did the walk through, promising a quote within a few days; never happened and no follow-up whatsoever. So the way it works I guess (and this happened with one other interstate local agent also), is that they fulfill their requirement with Mayflower (of coming out to your house) but then cherry pick the jobs based on size (our quote from two other long distance movers was 9-10K) and location(s). Anyway, guess they don't want to tell you that they don't want your business. The good news is that we've found a way to move more cheaply (50% less) and with a higher level of confidence. This is a 2300 mile interstate move and we'll be using a combination of a Upack 28 foot trailer and local movers with excellent reviews to load up the trailer. The trailer is then moved by ABF freight to your destination and yours is the only residential load on that trailer (with your own locks on the enclosing partition) - check it out. And no, I'm not affiliated with them.
