I looked up this companies license seeing the 5 star reviews and found that they were denied a household goods moving license. Not sure what you would get denied for, but just wanted others to know that they are not a licensed company. They post their license number on their website, but when you look the number up on the state licensing department of consumer affairs that is where it shows that the license was denied. So they must have applied and the state of California said denied. Yikes! read more

Within a few hours Bryce offered a very reasonable price estimate for 3 movers and a truck. Fast forward to yesterday, not only did they arrive on time, they arrived with a 4th mover. They have the proper materials needed for lifting heavy items, and they took extra good care of fragile items as well. I cannot stress enough about how amazing Bryce and his crew was. Bryce communicated very well and asked if they could arrive earlier than arranged but that worked out perfectly for us. We're moving across country to Florida, and got 3 Uhaul UBoxes for our move. We didn't think we were going to be able to fit everything and had stuff put aside to sell or give to friends, like big items too. They fit everything with some room to spare. We hired Bryce and his team for our move today and we were nothing short of impressed. Bryce was prompt to respond to my Yelp inquiry and provided a walk through and quote that same week. He and his team showed up right on time this morning, with excellent energy and a professional attitude. I wound up in a situation where I had to quickly plan a long distance move back home to Chicago. For reasons, I made a decision to go back - and since it was two weeks before my lease was up, I had to move fast. I wound up in a bad situation when my original mover's trailer hitch broke, and then he ultimately didn't show up when he communicated he would, forcing me to push my move back two days! And that included paying to rearrange flights, asking the old apt complex property manager to let me stay one more night, having to find new arrangements to the airport, and now having to find a POD to transport my furniture. It was very stressful, but I was able to find a POD. Before I even knew for sure I would be using Valley Movers, Bryce helped talk me through my options through my tears--like whether I should get a Uhaul UBOX, a POD, etc., and let me know what he could or could not assist me with. Because I didn't have a car, Bryce and his dad found time in between other moves to come and help me. I had packed all my boxes, and they wrapped all of my furniture, loaded everything up, dropped it off at my POD, even purchased a lock for me for use, then came back to give me the POD key. By the time I was back in Chicago and got my delivery, everything was perfect, nothing was broken. My stepdad and uncle and even the PODS delivery man all commented and how well everything was wrapped and protected. This team showed up on time and got to work immediately. They picked up every single item I had out and did not bother me unless they had to. They were also very personable and worked quickly.
