It started where I was told to call after contacting through Yelp. I called and then they said…read moresomeone would call me back later because they were not in the office. It was the next day when they finally reached out. I spoke with Donna who gave me a quote of up to 5 hours, which previous moves never took longer than that, and quoted me what up to 5 hours would cost. Before the move I called and requested 4 garment boxes which they said would add to my file and bring on moving day. On moving day they did not bring the garment boxes and had to use several of my boxes and they shoved my clothes in the boxes causing my nice pressed clothes that come from dry cleaners to become wrinkled and needing to repress. Moving day came and they were on time. Apparently there was a new person and then during my move an office staff person showed up for about 30 minutes to watch them move my stuff. The new guy was not sure on certain things so it slowed them down a little. We went to my storage after that which took them about 45 minutes to get there. Should not have taken more than 30 minutes. It took me only 18 minutes from first stop. Again moving stuff out of storage the new guy was slow. When moving stuff out they dropped my grandmothers box of silverware and damaged the box a little. They just kind of threw the silverware back in there and put it in the truck. Once we got to final destination there was a lot of double handling of stuff which again added time. During the move they damaged the frame to my extra room closet and because of the time, I just told them to store all the boxes in one room. It ended up being 6.5 hours and almost 300.00 dollars over the price quoted. They said they were going to put my table together, but because I knew they were over a lot of time and I was already frustrated by this time because of the carelessness and the slowness of the move I said forget it I will do it. When I reached out to the company after the move they were slow to respond and I told them all the stuff that happened. After some time they responded that they would send me a 300.00 voucher for future services. I declined the offer stating I will not be using their company again. I then just requested at least a refund of an hour for all the trouble and the slow worker. They again waited to respond and I kept reaching out. They responded that they would give me 25.00 Visa card for the damaged box and I just needed to send pictures. The professionalism of this company is a disgrace and I would not recommend them to anyone. They disregarded all the issues that I endured. Please do not use this company.

We wanted to buy two new sofas from Costco, but the store doesn't offer delivery and Costco Online…read morewas sold out of the models we wanted. Then there was the issue of what to do with the old sectional. Dan at DW Ewing Movers responded right away and was very understanding and collaborative. He quoted me a very fair price (neither lowest, nor highest of 5 bids) and suggested they could meet me at Costco to pick up the new, deliver, unpack, and assemble them, then deliver the old furniture (still attractive and in very usable condition) to Habitat for Humanity. Movers Omar & Kyle were right on time and politely, quickly and carefully completed the steps as promised. What could have been an ordeal was a very smooth and painless process. I'm tempted to compose another 5-star review, just so I can award them a total of 10!!!

By far the worst moving experience we have ever had. Let me start off by saying, Brian was…read moreextremely rude and unprofessional. Not only to us but to his "workers" as well. Let me start from the beginning, I contacted Brian for a quote two weeks ago. He asked me how many bedrooms and bathrooms I told him everything my home had, including the trampoline and patio dining table that I wanted taken apart and rebuilt and included pictures. First, he told me $900 without the trampoline. I told him I wanted a quote including the trampoline. He quoted me $1100. I asked him to come take a look in person and he said he didn't need to because he already saw all the pictures. Fine. Deal. Fast forward to moving week, I text him two days prior to confirm date and time, he confirms but now says he needs to come at noon instead of our already agreed to time or 9am. Fine I understood and said sure if you think you and your guys will be done on time. He said "don't worry we got it" noon comes around, he tells me he'll actually be late and come at 1pm I say fine, 1:10 hits I call and ask him where he is, he says oh sorry I've had a crazy day I'll be there at 2. At this point we are pissed and it's too late to hire a different moving company. Any who, they show up at 2pm, keep in mind, it's him, 2 of his family member, 2 younger kids in their 20s he hired online and one older guy he hired off Craigslist... None of them employees or insured movers. At first, he's doing a decent job, wrapping our furniture, loading the truck up correctly to where everything fits nicely until the 2 hr mark hits and he tries telling me that he's gonna need more money because it was more than he thought... I said what? You are only taking the items I clearly stated and took pictures of and he responds oh it's because I did you a favor and took some boxes. I responded "I didn't need that favor, you decided to take those boxes because you needed them in order to organize the things in your truck." He responded that it was because he didn't come in person to see and I told him yes and that was your decision, not mine. Anywho, he left behind the trampoline, our grill, cat tree, a desk chair along with other items he had originally quoted me for. Keep in mind, he said there was no more room in the truck. There was PLENTY he just decided to throw everything at the end instead of organizing to the top to ensure things fit. Damaged and dirtied so much of our furniture. NOT TO MENTION, he had to borrow all of my husband's tools and about 15 of our bedding blankets because they came unprepared. When he closed up the truck I sent him $550 before he headed off to our new place (half of our quote price) and once we arrived to our new place he tried pulling my husband to the side and told him he could go back to the house and get the trampoline and build it tomorrow for an extra $150. I overheard and went up to him and told him you're attempting to charge us more for something that was already included in our quote? He said "oh I already talked to your husband about it" I said I don't care, you're talking to me because I am the one who hired you and made the agreement so as a matter of fact I will not be paying you $1100, I will be paying you $900 what you originally quoted me without the trampoline. He got extremely offended and told me to relax that he doesn't care it's only a couple hundred bucks. I said ok cool then we're good! Nothing negative to say about the people he hired to work with him, they were extremely kind and also tired of dealing with his awful attitude. Would definitely not recommend Brian's "moving company" My babies crib fell apart when I laid her in it, patio table completely fell apart after we tried having dinner on it and the beds all needed to be redone. PLEASE do not give this fraud your business. I could sue him for the damages he has caused and we are strongly considering it.

On moving day, he was very communicative and let me know when he was arriving - in fact he made it to my new place before I did. Macho Movers earned every bit of this five-star review. From the moment they arrived, it was clear…read morethey run their business with efficiency, care, and zero nonsense. They moved my entire home with a level of professionalism that immediately put me at ease--no rushing, no careless handling, no "mystery scratches" that show up later. Their team was on time, prepared, and incredibly respectful of both my belongings and my space. They wrapped, lifted, and maneuvered everything with real skill, even the pieces I thought would be a nightmare. What stood out the most was their attitude: steady, positive, and solution-focused. Nothing felt too heavy, too complicated, or too much trouble. Moving is usually chaos... but they made it painless. Truly. If you want a moving company that treats your things like they matter and does the job right from start to finish, Macho Movers is the team to hire. I'd use them again without hesitation.

My experience with Stevie of Macho Movers was A+ from start to finish. I called a few weeks before…read moremy move to get a quote and he asked me basic questions like the two addresses and a what all my pieces of furniture were. He also asked how many boxes I would have and was very understanding when I basically had no clue. He quickly calculated how much time he thought it would take with 2 movers, himself being one of them. His quote came in nearly $1k lower than anything the meatheads and hunks of the industry could offer. Naturally, I went with him. The day before my move, he confirmed the start time via text, and the next morning he was right on time. In fact, we were the ones being tardy, still putting stuff in boxes as he and his team member started moving furniture. He got everything in one truckload, which reduced my cost because his quote was variable based on how long it took. At the end it took 3 hours and 15 minutes, and he charged me accordingly, all less than $600. A small price to pay for not having to slip a disc trying to move furniture in my late 30s. Nothing was damaged either, so they're definitely better than your group of friends that you pay in beer. Overall, fast, affordable, and high quality work from Stevie and his crew. I would definitely go with them when I move in the future.
