I've only had great experiences here they literally go over and beyond every transaction and I go a lot. As a whole this is my favorite location. Side note: the only reason I came on here (maps) was to call the location to save me a trip and it's true they don't pick up the phone... kinda frustrating cause I have to take a trip down there to find out the answer to my question. Okay the USPS is top tear was customer service. I've been trying to find a close spot to home to drop off my online selling packages. Entering the parking lot I knew it was already gonna be good as there was multiple parking stalls and an easy In and out entrance and exit for the most part. It's typical people honking at each other because someone reversed out too fast but it's the norm. Seems like a lot of people in the area here have PO Box so there is usually a line to get into your box. I believe if you have packages but if you like me that is there for a quick In and-Out you have a place to drop off packages right when you enter, but you could also go to the line to scan your QR code. OMG! What a Ghetto Post Office! The minute I got out of my car, I was approached by a bum who was camping out in the parking lot. I went inside and had to wait in a long line for 30 long minutes just to pick up my mail, due to some lowlife vandalizing our mailbox! They told me it would take THREE MONTHS to get a new mailbox put in! That is absolutely ridiculous!! Why does it take soooooo long? This is going to be a real headache since it will be Xmas time by the time they get around to putting in the new mailbox! read more

This post office basically does not get your delivery packages right they lie they say they try to attempt deliver. I don't understand why they even have these workers even working they should be in the federal government. Saw the ratings which was quite low but I had to come get a package here. I actually had a nice experience here. The staff helped me very quickly and addressed the issue with my delivery smoothly. The lady who went to search my package in the warehouse was super respectful and explained what might of happened and will be following up with my carrier to find my package. They have an area for you to pickup your mail and another area for delivering your packages or returns. It's not located in the best area but at least it's in an area where lots of homes are and it's convenient for people to go to. read more

I contacted the USPS online regarding an MIA package, not expecting anything more than an automated response (at best). One day later I receive a voicemail from my local post office, and Danielle left me the most detailed, kind, polite voicemail, totally addressing my concern and letting me know to the best of her ability what happened and when I can expect my delivery. She sounded so real and personable, and I really appreciate that. I just wanted to make it public knowledge that Danielle is absolutely killing it over there. USPS should be embarrassed to call this a US post office. The exterior drop box was taped off and the interior was not much better. They had several PO boxes hanging open and obviously vandalized. According to one of the postal workers someone has damaged several boxes during the night. Doesn't that make you feel good about having a PO box and going to the post office. Not! Add this to the fact that the line that was 13 people deep and am going to recommend that patrons go a little further to a different USPS location. read more

Mail man claimed to have delivered a package in a parcel locker well I didn't get it then filed a complaint supervisor responded just like back in January when they mishandled a package and shattered the contents the had the nerve to get an attitude then kept it and claimed I would hear what their decision was of course nothing now I'm being gas lit on a package that they did not deliver . Admittedly I am not one of the persons whose mailboxes were vandalized and who consequently had to pick up their mail directly from the post office, apparently enduring long lines to retrieve it. (It seems someone here might have been able to come up with a better system to handle that mess!) Nevertheless, whenever I have come to this office to mail packages, buy stamps, etc., the customer service here has been some of the best I've experienced. The employees are always warm, welcoming, and helpful, greeting you with a smile, and it's always been a good experience. BTW, even the CUSTOMERS here are extraordinary, being outstandingly polite and helpful when I've asked them questions (I was pretty confused when I first came here and found lines wrapped around the lobby!), politely holding doors open for each other, and wishing each other good morning, good afternoon, etc. - I always leave thinking, "Gosh, there are some really NICE people in this neighborhood!" Long lines for weeks now if you need to pick up your mail. Currently 25th in line and was told it would be at least an hour and a half. I cannot understand how this process cannot be any faster. I would give Hughes Station no stars for their inept, lazy, complacent service. I can't tell you how many problems I've had in the past with this post office: so many misdeliveries with my mail put into the wrong neighborhood group mail box, stolen checks, broken mail boxes, packages with the correct address being sent back, and delayed mail by days. Try calling their phone number and they hang up. USPS should close this branch and fire all the employees there for providing the worst service than any other branch in Fresno. Ok. Is this even REALLY a Post Office? They were way too pleasant and efficient. I don't know about everybody else, but I generally dread going to the Post Office. This one was pretty busy, and I ended up visiting the counter twice. Both times, I was greeted by a smiling Representative who apologized for the wait time... Not only does our mailman give us wrong mail because It happens all the time. I've called and complained to the supervisor and they have attitude. I had my mail held without knowledge or consent from this post office. I went in and stated that i had moved my mailbox to ACCOMMODATE my mail carrier because he refuses to get out of his car when a car is parked there (which is out of MY control) They decided to give me attitude and were just flat out rude. Now they won't tell me where my mail is and one of the staff said "see if you get your mail now b****" because i questioned them on why they couldn't be curteous enough to inform me where my mail is. I don't understand why it's so hard for you guys to do your jobs. I understand you probably hate it but why treat customers who haven't done anything to you this way? It's not hard to be a decent human being Rudy! I really hope someone investigates them further because this is unacceptable. I dropped off my wedding invitations st the drop off box on July 29, 2019. It is now August 14, 2019 and half of my invitations were delivered, the other half are lost somewhere. I called and have been on hold for 30 minutes already. Can't get through to anyone. Now I have to personally contact each of my guests and send them photos of the invitation to be sure they attend. We have everything paid for and I'm so angry that a ton of people may not attend my wedding because USPS lost my invitations. read more

This is by far the worst post office I've ever been to. None of the staff communicate with each other and it clearly shows. They all tell me different stuff all of the time. They're slow and their procedures are extremely frustrating. They'll have staff in the drop off area just waiting while the pick up line for mail is over 2 hours long with one person working the line when there is 3 other staff members just standing on the other side. read more

The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 star is because of the service I got from a clerk named Jesse. There were a lot of us waiting in line and everyone was getting impatient, some of the people became hostile the longer we had to wait, most people were being very rude and insulting him. He remained curtious and polite even when dealing with such behavior. That is why I started to feel sorry for him more than I was angry about my mail. I realized the people who broke our mailboxes and stole our mail are the ones who caused us to have to stand in lines here, it's not this guys fault,yet he is the one who has to face the disgruntled public and provide customer satisfaction with a smile on his face. I was really impressed by the way he remained composed and respectful to the crowd. I would not be able to handle doing his job, he should get hazard pay for having to deal with these circumstances. I sent a package priority and was undeliverable at 5:13pm when it went out for delivery since 9am. It stated it was like be returned to sender or call the usps to get details on my options. The following morning I called and there was no answer. I went online and it said I was able to schedule a redelivery. At that time, I changed it for customer pick up. However there was no details on the location of the package or when it would be ready for pick up. I then called the 800 number for the usps and they provided me the direct phone number to this office as well as hours. I called two day prior and for three hours with no answer. It rang until it was disconnected. Apparently communication and customer service is the top priority of this office. I call back the 800 number to see how else I can get in contact with them, and what options I have if I cannot reach out. (The person picking up work the same hours the office is open and it's out of the way for them to get the package if it's not ready). They said all they have is the same number I have been using. They also confirmed that I would be able to pick up earlier hours for my redelivery/held mail situation. Today, my friend goes and leaves empty handed. She was told early hours are for customers who paid for their mail to be held. Did I not pay for my package to be sent? Is she not already there? Just when I thought that the device couldn't get worse. I'm sure they will never see this being they don't even know how to function a telephone. This is my warning to everyone considering the use of this office. Do yourself a favor and go to a place where they run their office as an actual business read more

Mailbox has been broken into 3 times in 3 months. Have been coming in 2 times per week to pick up mail. Waiting patiently at Dutch door to get my mail for 1 hour and 5 minutes to be told by Ralph that there is nothing for my address in the rudest way. Walked around the glass and in 30 seconds a counter employee brought a stack of no less than 40 pieces of my mail. I only got the name of this employee Ralph from the window but it's happened with 2 other employees the same way. And the counter employees cannot help until you go to Dutch door first. There is minimum of 20 customers in the service window line and nobody waiting at counter like yet they will not take on any of the overflow. read more
