Service: Mail Greetings I am overall please with the mail services provided in my area the mailman is usually early comes before 12:00 depending on the day and the schedule that the mail carrier has for the day. When I see the mail carrier I usually say hello or good morning and then I go open the box and get my mail and go back to my home or place of residence. I do not like receiving junk mail but sometimes some junk mail it is worth the reading. When you are in the post office and dropping off of item make sure that you have a envelope for your package or your letter or the proper packing I suggest you go to Walmart or Target because the prices at the post office are slightly higher. I usually have an outstanding customer service experience at the post office located off of Nees avenue. Check them out when you have the time they open up in the morning and they close at 5:00 p.m. on the weekdays. read more

This place is convenient and next to where I run so I stop here for my postal needs. It's a bigger post office and has two big bins for mailing out postage paid packages and the door is open late after hours making it convenient for drop offs. read more

7/16/25 Such a great experience! I had a SHEIN return and got a scan code for USPS. I thought I was going to have to wait in line to get it to send it. Started waiting and the worker Rosy got my attention asking if I had a scan return. I said I did and she took me outside the main line area and they have a scan code machine right there! Clearly, I haven't been to the post office in a Really long time! Scanned, it print out a label, put it on the package and sent it out! I sent out a large envelope that had a printed label on it that the USPS sent to me inorder to return some forms regarding a lost package. The label printed by USPS clearly showed the address where it was needing to be sent. 2 days after I sent it out the envelope arrived to the senders address not the the receiver. How is this possible? No damage to the label or anything. The package that went missing was sent almost tothe east coast according to tracking info and istead of reaching New Jersey where it was supposed to go It was shipped all the way back to California and then lost!! And trying to get a missing package request started was a hassle and so is trying to get a refund for the missing package. All of these started first at this post office location. But the whole system is messed up. And I feel like they make refunds so hard so people will just give up on trying read more

A little over a month ago my son and I got the components to do a special build for a little boy who was going to be 9 years old. This is my great nephew we built if for. USPS Fails to Honor Insurance After Severe Shipping Damage. A cautionary tale. I entrusted USPS with shipping a custom-built PC for my nephew's birthday, complete with $2,000 worth of insurance to protect against possible damages. Imagine the child's feelings at what you see arrived in the photos. What arrived was utterly shocking and unreal. Severe physical damage that could only have been caused by intentional means not just careless handling from USPS employees. The mesh on the fan was torn apart like they were trying to get inside to the graphics card, internal components were displaced, and inexplicable displacement of the cloth was stuffed inside the case for added protection. This was not normal shipping wear and tear, it was blatant negligence. Despite having insurance, USPS refuses to take responsibility for the destruction they caused. Their unwillingness to honor their own coverage is beyond frustrating and a clear failure of customer service and accountability. What's the point of paying extra for insurance if they won't actually do anything when disaster strikes? Due to their negligence and refusal to help, I will **NEVER** ship anything through USPS again. If you're sending valuable items, especially something fragile or custom-built, do yourself a favor and choose a more reliable shipping service. One that actually stands behind its promises. I love coming to this post office, I love our postal workers. If I could give them all a 5 stars I would but the lady up at the front with the short hair ALWAYS gives me an attitude and a hard time. Lady if you don't like your job that much then please do everyone a favor including yourself and quit. She always seems so miserable. If you work with the public you work in customer service and this lady has absolutely zero customer service. I've tried being nice to her but she is literally so miserable no one can make her happy. She was happy once, a long time ago she used to always smile and was helpful. Now I feel it's her mission to make everyone around her as miserable as she. Well she didn't win today, she only won about 10 seconds of my day thank goodness I have another 86,000 seconds to continue to have a great day. read more

Asked for twelve Priority Mail envelopes at the counter after waiting for ten minutes. The young lady's incredulous reponce was "Twelve" as if a Customer was entitled to one. The correct response should have been " I'm sorry, I only have four". What a rotten attitude. If you don't like your job, go look for another one. The will call people here suck. Like I chose to have my complexes mailboxes vandalized just to stand at the post office for 20-30 mins while they run around in the back doing lord knows what. And then have the nerve to be frustrated with me because my married name is still on some of my mail. Have ordered items from various online sales..but, three out of four times within the last six months were NOT delivered to my assigned locked mailbox. I traced the tracking numbers to discover Woodward Park Station, actual carrier recorded the package as "left in/at mailboxes" I constrained from receiving a credit on purchases, because the carrier records "delveried" Faced w a difficult outcome... because of an error by US postal service, it was not placed into my assigned locked mail box (or front door or left in the complex's leasing offices) A Woodward park postaL team member, nine days later (from last occurrence) even phoned, Friday evening, left a voicemail "your package has been delivered" if your have further questions... I immediately called back, plus w/ several further attempted calls, they never answered the phone Frustrating ...I'm trying to figure what went wrong - Understanding a human error, but three in six six months , have actual costs- my case -nearly three hundred dollars read more

But this Post office needs to hire better. specifically, the lady who is normally working on the very left was the worst customer service person I've been around in a while. she isn't mean but extremely lazy. This is written up from results from the past visits, I would say over 10 times, and incidents I experience at this Nees location in Fresno, CA There is this lady I am not sure if she is American Indian or South American, but she had a darkly complex and is a medium to large set body type, just to identify who she is, not to degrade in physical appearance in of any kind. Very rude, when I asked how much can I get the Money order, she says, "No!, you have to tell me how much you want!". so I said $2000, then she says, "no we can't do it!" I have no idea why she can make a single statement in a bad manner. so I asked, "can I do $500?" then she says "you have to fill out a form". I said "can I get a form to fill it out?" she says "no we ran out, so you have to come back another time". I said ok and "ok" and left to go to another USPS about 7 miles away. To my no surprise, their clerk says, "yeah, no problem, just get 4, $500 money order", I did that, was out of the UPS in 10 min. If you don't want to be told you did something wrong every turn of the conversation, I would avoid this USPS at call costs, especially with this lady. She either doesn't know the system or don't want to work there. read more

What can I say, every year (more like every day) this USPS always misplace my packages. Today (12/22/2021), I went to pick a package that is supposedly available for pick up since 12/20/2021. Mind you, I do have a P.O. Box at this post office for nearly 20 years and the idiots (including the manager) that work there always loses my packages. Well, as I am waiting at the pick-up line (will call) and showed (via cell phone) the lady my tracking info and what it said on their website (USPS) that it is available for pick up and 15 minutes later, still no package. Another 10 minutes later a different lady (Asian) approached the door and asked me for my phone number, and she said she will continue to look for it with her supervisor and they will call me. I heard this line (lies) to many times, and they will never call you. typical liars will always lie to your face (including the USPS employees). I wish there was a way to eliminate their fuck up government service and privatize the whole dame process. It's never an ending situation with USPS stupidity. Packages are stolen by their own employees and thousands of customers packages go missing without a trace. And they just don't give two SHIT about it. read more

Call it the first of the PO box but it seems to me I'm just not having a good luck finding a good one! This PO Box was suggested to me by a fellow Yelper. Unfortunately enough, the main reason I visited this location is because the primary p o box location on pine dale, would not accept my package and told me to come to this location. Really great customer service right? I'm still confused how you can have a option to pick up mail by knocking on the door and then when the door is open I'm told to go to another location because you cannot collect my mail. How does that work? In any event I came to this location to drop off a package and the line was so long I felt like I had grown to gray hairs. The line was out the door and there were only two postal workers working. So, I got in line the Dropbox and we're fool and the only way to drop off the mail was to wait. One of the the customers in line I'll called for me and another lady to get in front of her so we could drop off our mail. At that time the Post Office said oh well you could just leave it here on the counter. I know with a bad economy and they probably wanted to be at home on a Saturday. However their lack of enthusiasm, slow response to customers and overall low morale about their job made it a difficult place to come to because I don't want to be depressed dropping off my mail. We have paid for a P.O. Box for more than 20 years in an effort to avoid mail theft from the residential mail boxes. We also subscribe to Informed Delivery to ensure we receive the mail in our P.O. Box that has been mailed to us. Needless to say we were a bit disappoined when all the pieces of scanned mail pictured by Informed Delivery were received with the exception of a birthday card which contained a rather healthy gift card. Filing a claim with the post office was useless. It doesn't take a seasoned detective to figure out why all the other mail arrived but the piece of mail that contained a gift care mysteriously disappeared between the Fresno mail distribution center and our P.O. Box on Nees Avenue. I hope they enjoyed their shopping spree at Best Buy! Please do not interpret this post as an accusation, just stating the facts. read more

I dread going to this post office. Every time I've had to mail a package or something off there is a ridiculously long ass line with only one worker in the front.....if you're lucky maybe 2. Are you kidding me? I get why FedEx and UPS has so much business. Get it together USPS!!! God forbid you need to get a passport. This is the only post office in the area that deals with passports; which means everyone in Clovis and Woodward Park area is standing in line. With of course only one person manning the booth. Never come to this location to send anything and get help in person. Took me more than an hour to send my package even though there were only three people ahead of me. I feel bad for others waiting after me, it would take forever... The wait time is ridiculous and the employees (two male, both tall, in middle age, working on the date 06/09/2020 during 3-4pm) were super slow. The post officer who helped me also forgot about getting my signature on the custom form. I'm glad I checked the receipt and custom form before I head to home. He didn't even notice his mistake until I went in and pointed that out. I've never seen/been to any usps location this BAD. read more

I have been trying to talk to someone at the Woodward Park Station at the local level. At the national level too. Unfortunately, when I call, no one at either answers the phone. At the national level I was told they were busy and I would have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to speak to someone. Another problem is that we have a new postman. Mail is not delivered to the correct address. We have had to take mail and packages to our neighbors. Since s/he is new, hopefully they will learn our neighborhood addresses quickly. However, my biggest problem is that last week I mailed in our ballots. I was happy we finally voted for our candidates and sent it in. However, on Monday, my ballots were returned to our mailbox without explanation. This is unconscionable. I have for years mailed my ballot in to be counted. So I know I can do so. In a year when voting for our candidates is so important and critical, everything should go smoothly. Where were my ballots? Has this happened to others? This could potentially be a serious and illegal problem. We count on the US Postal Service everyday. You can and must do better! read more

Automated postal machines are the way to go....especially during holiday rushes. Convenient location, well lit at night and usually well stocked with priority boxes. Not much to say otherwise. This is a standard post office with generally friendly and informative employees. read more

I used to understand (some of) the bad reviews on here, but I haven't had a bad experience here for a long time now. When I have had a bad experience, it's been because there was a long line paired with a very long wait. If you go in at a busy time the wait can be pretty long, but it seems that they've streamlined their processes over the past year or so. Some services are now taken in the hallway, there are self-service scanners where you can print your own postage labels with a card payment, and I haven't run into any horribly long lines recently. The staff are pretty quick, which can mean they aren't always super attentive or chatty, but I've always found them to be professional and helpful. read more

The staff is very rude and completely disregards customers without a care in the world, not to mention the false information they provide regarding the P.O. Boxes. I have been to this location many times and I have a negative experience with the employees every time, and the supervisor does nothing to resolve issues with customers. Wow!! This USPS building looks abandoned at night. Could be in a scary movie. Landscape hasn't been done for months. Dead leaves from last fall lining curb in parking lot, dead ivy in planter, large fallen branches on sidewalk, weeds over a foot tall. I could go on but I won't. What a disgrace for a federal building. And this has nothing to do with COVID. It has looked like this for a very long time. Worst post office ever! Very disorganized. Just moved to the area and came here to pick up our mail placed on hold. First off, the wait at the customer service is horrible. There were only 3 people in front of us and we waited over 45 minutes. When we received our letters they weren't even addressed to our name. On top of that, one of the letters she gave us was someone's check from their work. The service representative did not even bother to double check our ID to see if the names matched. We spoke with the people behind us and they also received the wrong mail a few days prior and had to return it. They need to do something about the organization here. According to the person we spoke to some of the letters were filed incorrectly. I hope that they do something about this and are more strict about the rules in handing out mail to people. You can't get through to this office on the phone if you aren't able to go in & wait in a long line. They mark packages delivered when they are not, then they are lost. I constantly get mail that's the wrong apartment. My mail has been delivered to wrong apartments box. They "can't do anything about it bc the tracking says it was delivered in the correct neighborhood" is what I've been told when contacting online. Ridiculous! When something clearly says do not bend on it or obviously doesn't fit in the box, they shove it in anyway. Put it in a locker or deliver it to the door, don't ruin whatever is in the mail by not caring. read more
