the Postal Annex"s Notary services were requested for official documents to be filed with County Recorders office and the notary stamped the documents incorrectly. They did not even put down "Notary Public" as the official Title after the signature. We are Very dissatisfied and upset this afternoon as we made TWO trips to the County Recorders Office and were sent Back to this incompetent notary across town to fix the issue. Unable to file forms in a timely matter due to the notary's ineptitude. I would give zero stars if possible read more

Postal Annex took advantage of my ignorance. I was sent there by my wife to drop off a package preaddressed with a USPS priority mail label. The package contained freshly picked fruit from our garden and was marked for overnight delivery. The friendly clerk at Postal Annex checked her computer for pending pickups, and persuaded me to opt instead for a UPS pickup that promised next day delivery (Friday) to Orange County. She slapped a UPS label on to the box atop the USPS label. The charge, it turned out, was 50% more than USPS's. I agreed, reasoning that guaranteed on time delivery was worth paying for. . . . Well, it was a fiasco. UPS didn't deliver the package on the next day, in fact not until 10:30 am the following Monday, three days later than promised! I should have stuck with USPS! read more

I occasionally sell clothing on an online consignment website, but as a true millennial I don't own a printer, so whenever I get an order I'd take the shipping label I needed to print to a particular UPS Store location that didn't charge $6 for quick prints...until they raised their prices to $4 from $0.18 per quick print. Now all the UPS stores in the Fresno area charge $4-$6 for a small print job! Ugh! So, I searched for other print shops that did quick printing/small jobs and I was delighted to find PostalAnnex was walking distance from me, and they charge $2 for print jobs. They also can accept the pre-paid USPS packages for delivery. The person who helped me over the phone was super friendly. I was really excited to find them and walked over! The shop itself is very cute, tidy, and clean! Both workers that assisted me were friendly and helpful and gave me a rundown of all their services. They have small gifts for sale as well as a great card selection and various shipping and packing items. It's definitely a one stop shop if you're looking to mail your mom/Grandmom/aunt a small gift! I can ignore a passive aggressive attitude what I can't ignore is a liar and someone who questions whether or not I'm sure if I've used their business before for a specific shipment. Yes, I've used your business, I've actually used this exact location to ship about 20 forms over the course of a year. You were my go to location for shipping but not too sure after the treatment I received today. I will not use the associates name bc I do not condone getting employees in trouble. What I would like is for the establishment to train their employees on customer service. I understand it's not everyday someone ships international. When I realized 2 of your employees were having difficulty I tried to help. I had the receipt from the last shipment, which was placed at your location and sent to the same address. I even provided your employee with the date so she could look it up in my account. Rather than her listening to me or believing me, she asked if I was sure I used "this exact location" or "the same address." Really?!?! Also, I was charged more. I told her it's not about the money but I want to know why different employee charge different prices. She asked when I shipped last? A little over a month ago. Her response was this is a holiday fee bc costs went up. The charge on the receipt is exactly the same as the one in late September all she did was charge me more for an envelope which the employees never did in the past. Why? Are envelopes more during the holiday months? Your store lacks consistency in prices and customer service. I'm not a fan of the service I received today. Quite disappointed! read more

I really like this Postal Annex and have for a long time. I left a very positive review in early 2020 before COVID hit and I feel the same now, 18 months later. The women working there have changed but the service is still great. Serena and Grace are welcoming and professional, always with a friendly greeting and eager to read in my UPS and Post Office packages. I went in here a few days ago for passport photos, since I saw on here that they do them. I showed up with my family and when we finally were noticed (after about 5 minutes), we were quickly told that they do not have the camera for passport photos and that we had to go somewhere else. Luckily one of the other employees said to go to Walgreens (don't go there- I wasted 60 bucks on pictures that could not be used because of positioning), which is why I gave this place 2 stars. read more

The staff are great, the shop is cute but the prices are gouges. I'm all for helping the little local places, huge fan. But I mailed a box though usps, tracking and insurance, box included for $15.05. To mail the exact same item (post office ran out of boxes and I didn't have time to wait) in the exact same box, through the exact same shipper (usps) two says slower, box not included, and no insurance, it was $28.00 through postal Annex. Same shipping company. Same item. Size, weight etc Slower shipping speed. No insurance. $13 more. If it's worth it to you to pay a 90% markup so you don't have to go to the post office, this is a great place. But for me I won't go back because a 90% markup is not worth waiting in line for 5 minutes. And it makes me question a package I shipped a month ago where they told me $120 was as cheap as they could do it, and the post office would charge $180. read more

I couldn't believe it when the cashier told me they charge $0.75 for a stamp which costs $0.55! A $0.20 mark up is insane! I understand they are a business and need to make a profit but that mark up is out of this world! Especially when you can go to the grocery store right next door and get stamps at cost for the same convenience! I could understand 5 cents for even 10 cents but a 36% markup is insane! We've had our Postal Mail Box here for 10+ years and love it! Everyone is so kind and courteous and even greet you with a big hello as they hand over your mail, before you have to do it yourself. I went here to get a Live Scan fingerprinting done and I highly recommend going somewhere else. The first time I went in they didn't get clear enough prints and I had to redo them. I came back in and redid the process and they didn't submit my SS number with the new prints. As a result, I had to start the entire Live Scan process over and didn't get a refund. Needless to say I went somewhere else for the new prints, but the process was not only frustrating but I also payed for a service that I never received. After multiple attempts to at least get a good faith credit since Jan 12th, the manager kept assuring me I would get a refund. I've used this place 5-6 times in the last 6 months...my alternative is USPS...and the lines and slow service at USPS are what pushes me back to this place. Can't compare this Postal Annex to other locations as I've only used the one in my neighborhood. Sent a package today and the young lady behind the counter was courteous, efficient and suggested various methods (FedEx/UPS vs USPS) of sending my items. She packed my items, created a shipping label and I was done in less than 5 minutes. Why go to USPS when you can go here and have super service? read more
