Worse experience ever. Beware of overcharging, beware of rude and hostile staff. the office manager is very rude, on a major power trip. Him and the owners will threaten to send your units to auction if you dare question any charges. when they have full power and control over your belongings they will try and control you threaten u with selling every th ing. they will bully you I've even witness them making people cry. we refused making anymore payments after noticing questionable overcharges so they locked our units and kept charging and billing us. And threatening to sell our belongings we tried paying and they refused, they refused to give us information on where and when our items would be auctioned. After doing our own research we find out one of our units was currently being auctioned so we bid and won the bid when we show up to pay the balance they were so angry they were cussing and threatened to call the police when we told them to go ahead we did nothing wrong he refused to take payment and told us he was going to cancel the transaction and told us to leave his property. So a day or two later we call back to see what was going on and he told us to go pay the balance and we only had til the next day to get everything out. Well normally everyone is given 72hrs but since he wasted the two days trying to cancel the bid he punished us with 24 hrs only but his 24 hrs turned into 2pm when we weren't able to get everything out by 2they punished us for finishing by 5;45pm( even though they closed at 6pm) and kept $100 from our $300 cleaning deposit we had to pay as soon as the final winning bid was confirmed. When we asked when our other units would be auction off they refused to give us that information. Shortly after we see our 2nd unit (I failed to mention we had a total of 3unit) so we place a bid on our 2nd unit and the bid remained at $70 until shortly after biding was just about over the bidding war begin and the price went to over$ 1500 and sudden the website issued a sorry something went wrong error and we lost the bid. They are liars, crooks, shill bidding controlling rude cussing conniving and vicious people save yourself the heartbreak and don't trust your hard earned items, treasured memories and your lifetime of irreplaceable possessions in the hands. You will live to regret. read more

I have found this to be one of the most reasonable storage places in the Fresno area not far from my house. They had someone come bring a truck so I could move stuff into the unit and always keep me up-to-date with everything. read more

TRULY THE WORST business I've ever ever dealt with in my life. One man has literally screamed at me in fits of rage several times, to the point I feared he would either physically attack me or drop dead from a heart attack. The first time was because I went through the open gate 5 minutes before they closed and the last was because I called to ask them to stop sending notices to my family members two months after I left with no balance due and they told me Repeatedly that I owed them nothing. I think honestly he's literally mentally ill and extremely abusive even though not provoked in any way. Please don't put yourself through it. read more

Do not rent here! Came with a friend to unload some things from her storage and was rudely interrupted by the most heinous human I've ever met. He started off complaining about our speed coming in which is funny considering he came hauling ass up to us on his golf cart way faster than we were going. Then he went on a rant SCREAMING at my friend that she didn't sign in and how she was a liar for saying she was unaware of that policy. I asked him to calm down and quit cussing because my niece was in the car watching frightened because of his behavior to which he turned to me and said "shut your f-ing mouth and mind your business , go roll up your window if your that concerned" . He literally stood there arguing and berating my friend and myself for 10 minutes before threatening to lock her out of her unit and smashing off in his golf cart once again. I have been renting there for over 10 years. I have always found the staff to be polite and helpful. I know my stuff is safe and secure.

Truly racist, their liars, and not understanding people. Been had a storage for 4 months with them. Really not worth leaving you stuff with them. I had a 2 months past due payment and lied to me that i paid and finessed me out more money because of the overpayments everything accumulated. Their racist and not understanding to young colored people for instincts with me. One of the workers couldn't comprehend what i was trying to explain to him and told me he wasn't gonna talk to me and shut the window payment. Worst experience ever with them. I have never had a storage space very long but I have kept mine over 10 years only because of Robert. He is never rude, always helps me, cares about how I am doing, and just does his best to work with me. He should train all of the staff how to treat people - he is just phenomenal. I have been a customer for several years. Best rates I have found and I have had no issues. Just over a week ago about 45 minutes before closing I noticed the unit next to mine was unlocked. Upon asking, I was told that unit just opened up. Although by this time it was almost closing, I was able to add this second unit as I wanted another one. Normally, I would have had to come back but they were nice enough to take the time to get me locked in since I was leaving town for a week. Thanks! read more

Extremely unprofessional wouldn't recommend to any body. Owner tried to keep our stuff claiming "we didn't pay" when we had bank statements and confirmation numbers. When we finally came to pick up our stuff owner claims we were driving at dangerous speed when i know we were not because we had our son with us, we don't ever drive over speed limit. When he's done yelling at us owner then proceeds to speed off at a dangerous speed and when i confronted him about his own rules put into place for "safety" because our son was with us he tells us we have to leave property or he's going to call the police. Claims he's worried about children being hit while he drives at dangerous speeds in his own lot. Just go to another storage place where they won't try to keep your stuff. read more

If your needing storage in the Fresno area, I highly recommend Bobs Mini Storage. I had called every storage facility in town when I came across them and was told the same high prices for the smallest units over and over. I called them and they gave me the best price of any other place and were able to set me up immediately. I went in and instantly felt comfortable and like I had been around for years. Great personalities and they genuinley care about your needs and situation. Ive used a few different storage facilities over the years and they are by far the most caring. The past week a lien has been put on my storage unit at Bob's Mini Storage denying access to my property due to an admitted error on their part (extrapolating numbers on my card) entering my automatic monthly deduction. I have called repeatedly and been told over and over there was no one to resolve the issue on the property. Yesterday, I went to the property and the office refused to take the information to process my payment correctly. Today, on the second call, the owner was on the property and refused to speak to me. In addition, they have repeatedly overcharged my account every month with a late fee. The payments are never late. In fact, because they are automatically withdrawn, they are 10 days early. They are denying me access to my personal property due to an admitted error on their part. read more

I have been with Bob's mini storage for 11 years had quite a few incidents with the managers there one manager cut my lock off stole a bunch of stuff out of my unit they wouldn't do anything about it told me to go to my homeowners insurance policy and file a claim a few years later they got a new manager named Robert and he's been nothing but trouble you go there and he's so drunk he can't take care of the problem and you send your check in he holds your check and sends it back to you and tells you you were late charges you a late fee when I went into complain about it he handed me my contract when I told him that I was going to take action on it he handed me a eviction notice it's been nothing but horrendous I've asked to speak to the owner to have the owner give me a call he says why he's the manager on this property he so he has the right to say who talks to the owner I would love to speak with the owner let them know how bad their manager is I'm a business owner myself and I would never allow a manager to speak to my clientele this way he's rude vulgar drunk and it's just out of hand I'll be happy to get my things out of this unit but I want anybody else that's thinking about going there to really think hard and maybe go to a different storage facility read more

I love the prices at Bob's, they beat the corporate guys for certain! The moving truck was nice too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint that I have is that they don't bill through the mail or offer an automatic payment plan. Credit card customers would be able to earn points back on the account without driving over to the office. Good place to store your stuff! read more

They failed to fill out proper paperwork then accused us of helping ourselves to a larger unit without permission. When their ex-tweaker staff member helped us move to the unit. When we closed our account and left the meth-mouth staff stated no paperwork was needed, but having issues with her before we asked the manager who stated of course you get a receipt and a closed contract, not sure what her game was on that. Fast forward to getting our Christmas decorations out to decorate to find my children's treasured 3-4 foot stuffed Snoopy missing and several other items also missing. When we requested to speak to the owner they stated they would let him know only to never hear from him. STAY AWAY from this place the savings are not worth it. read more

Bob's let someone break into our storage unit in broad daylight with two staff members on site. They took no responsibility for the items stolen from our unit. They have no working cameras on site. We will never be able to replace the sentimental items stolen from out unit!!! read more
