French Fries!!!

The burgers were great! The nachos did lack a LOT of cheese. The outdoor seating was unsanitary and the service was rude. The best thing here is definitely their burgers!!! The bathrooms are disgusting.

Visiting the town of Lampasas has been my dream for a long time (only heard about it recently), so I'm glad I was able to go to there and experience Storm's. I don't know why it's so popular as it is a very normal kind of burger place. I enjoyed their burger and sweet potato fries.

I was driving by here and stopped because I saw the reviews. This place is a solid 4! I was very impressed with how fast this place was! As usual, I have to order a lot of items because I'm never in this area. Everything was great, but the vanilla shake was AMAZING! Super flavorful and tasty. I was very pleased with my cheeseburger! All of the French fries, fried cheese sticks, and onion rights were piping hot! It can't get any better than this! The hotdog was okay. It was as expected. Great food! Great service!

Pretty average food, longest wait time over 40 minutes for food. Workers were not polite at all. Don't recommend if you want fast food.

Eve's Cafe - Chicken salad on sour dough special

A warning: If you eat Weinerschnitzel in Vienna, you will be ruined for life on most of the…read moreversions you find elsewhere. But I was stupid, and hungry, and ordered what looked like the specialty of the house at Eve's Café. In fact, it looked like what they called a Wienerschnitzel was the basis for all sorts of schnitzel variations with different toppings and gravy. That should've been an extra warning for me. To be fair, the description on the menu said that what you would get was a pork chop, and that is what I got. It was a little bit tough, which I suspected in advance, watching the people at the next table, sewing on theirs. The breading was weird in a way that's hard to describe. It was somewhat over-seasoned, a little bit hard, and left an aftertaste that was slightly chemical. An even worse sin by Texas standards, it was small, as in the recommended meat portion size for healthy eating, about the size of my hand, minus the fingers. My side of onion rings had the same breading. And even though I am generally a gravy hog, I didn't especially care for the brown gravy that came with my meal. The German dill salad probably had some dill in it somewhere, but it was all drowned in so much mayonnaise-based dressing, I couldn't really taste it, and the whole thing turned into soup before I finished. This all really sounds terrible, but it wasn't actually terrible. I ate all of it except for the soupy salad, but it just never rose beyond competent, when I had gotten my hopes up for some good German food. As I looked around at what others were eating, I really wished I had ordered one of the fabulous-looking sandwiches, burgers, or bratwurst. Those are harder to mess up. The restaurant itself has a nice location on the Square in Lampasas, and a charming vibe. The Thursday lunch crowd was good sized so it looks like a popular local place. The service was very friendly and pretty quick--maybe little TOO quick, as if my schnitzel might've been waiting for me under a heat lamp. Once I'd finished, I was still a little hungry, and considered ordering a slice of their Black Forest Cake. But I have had Black Forest Cake in Bavaria, and I simply couldn't bear another disappointment.

So this place was recommended, so I had to go. The restaurant is a small establishment, with…read morewonderful vibes. The inside was old fashioned, kind of a western twist. Any ways the waiters was friendly and welcoming. She took our oder quickly and brought us libations. The food looked good and tasted outstanding! The meat was soft and the brown gravy was on point. Furthermore the restrooms are super clean and roomy. Looks like there is only one cook, it might take a minute for your order but worth waiting for. Stay hungry my friends!

Don't trust this butcher, have paid for 2 steers to get butchered here and the first time wasn't…read moregreat with probably about 8 lbs out of 70 of hamburger having a ton of gristle and tendon chunks and cartilage and the rest having at least a few bites of it in every package where you're stopping to spit it out when you eat it. they obviously didn't trim junk and silver skin. this time has been worse and I should have learned my lesson but it's convenient and closest shop. Here's how i got back some of my meat see photos. This is a week after getting a call that my meat was ready, and an hour after picking it up and driving back home to put it in my freezer after having boxes in yeti 120. Should have checked out the boxes in the store but they are all taped up. On top of that, every other package of ground beef i have, out of the 80 pounds or so, has so much cartilage and gristle in it I can't finish a meal without having a pile of it sitting on the side of my plate. Every other fork bite is a chunk of garbage thats added weight of trash. A sorry excuse for taking care of someone's meat with no pride and pure laziness. I picked up this meat and told the owner several items had no seal and freezer burn on a call when I got back to the house, he told me it was impossible over the phone , and to text photos, never heard back with no remorse or care. I process and store every other animal I eat besides beef and he wants to tell me "it's impossible". Either his help is no good or he is complicit and a liar in their theft of new meat. Tells me I'm lying after spending $1k for his services calling him the day I pick up. I'd assume some theft is going on if I'm getting meat back that looks like it's been unsealed and frozen for years. Might give you your steaks back and take your ground and give you orders people never came to pick up. 0 pride, accountability, and character. No wonder the butcher shop side doesn't have a yelp page. I came back to leave a review after picking up in early December because the hamburger has gotten even worse as I've eaten through it. I like to support small business but this is ridiculous.

I went to M&M for the sole purpose of stocking my freezer with beef. M&M is more than just a…read moreprocessing facility. It offers fresh cuts of beef (some cheaper than HEB), chicken, fish, and breakfast sausage. It even has alligator and frog legs. Just about everything sold there is local: wine, beer, honey...There is a refrigerator full of a variety of pecan pies. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Its location is easy to find. It's well worth the drive to Lampasas.
