I drive through Lampassass pretty regularly so Ive always wanted to stop in. I am so glad that I finally did because this place is SO good! Right away the staff were so kind. The food was delicious!! I am personally picky about alfredo, but there's was perfectly cheesy and creamy. read more

When ever we go out for Italian food I always choose Linguini. And I must say Bella Italia has some of the best Linguine I have eaten. We had a young lady for a server she was the best. The restaurant is very nice and relaxing for a great meal. The Beer is also nice and Cold. read more

Italian food so good it'll make you wanna slap yo momma... but maybe just give her a hug instead and bring her here. I had the tortellini and the supreme pizza and both were ridiculously good. The girls at the counter were oh so sweet and made the whole place feel welcoming. I will most definitely be back and plan on working my way down the menu until I've tried everything. read more

Based on positive reviews, we had high expectations, but our experience was very disappointing. We ordered a meat lovers pizza, New York style, extra crispy. It arrived only lukewarm and was neither crispy nor New York-style by any definition. The toppings were comparable to what you'd find on a frozen box pizza, which is exactly what this reminded us of. While the location is convenient and the service was decent, the quality of the food means we won't be returning. read more

I rarley give a resturant 5 stars, however, Bella Italia Lampasas deserves nothing less. Exceptional food quality and excellent wait staff will always be deserving of the higest rating. Well done Bella Italia! read more

Great pizza! My husband is a pizza snob. He is from New York and follows a lot of highly rated pizza places all over. He gave this a solid 7.8 He recommends tell them to leave on a couple extra mins. read more

Outstanding Italian cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious (the vodka gnocchi was out of this world). Warm and friendly service. What a gem to find in such a small town! read more

I'm a legit Italian, and this is some of the best Italian food I've ever had. I had the sausage and peppers -- very, very nice. My son had the calzone. It was also fantastic. Service was great, thanks to our server, Sophia. I was blown away by how affordable the food was. Great prices. This is a fantastic Italian-American neighborhood restaurant like you would find in New York, New Jersey, or Boston. You know, the one where you'd find the locals. I've eaten more than my share of Italian food in the states and Europe. Who knew you could get such great Italian food in Lampasas, Texas!? read more

We stopped in on Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. Super cute restaurant, felt nice and welcoming. Once we sat down we got our drinks right away, and some super warm and yummy garlic twists. We ordered cheese sticks, meat lovers pizza and baked ziti. The food came fast and was sooo good. I loved the marinara that came with the cheese sticks, and appreciated the Parmesan sprinkled on top of the sticks. The baked ziti was perfect, nice combo of ricotta and mozzarella with penne pasta. I made sure to bring some home as leftover pasta is the best! The mister had the pizza, it looked so good I couldn't resist! I hate a few slices myself. The toppings were large and flavorful and the crust perfect. We left nice and full and with yummy leftovers. We don't live local, but come this way every once in a while, we will definitely stop in again! read more

The food was absolutely wonderful! The fresh rolls with the garlic aioli were great. The tortellini alla panna was even better. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely eat here again if we're back in this area. read more

Food was delicious and fresh, service was excellent. Prices were good. The rolls and to die for, will definitely be going back

We stopped here on a Sunday evening on our way from Dallas to Austin. Going only on Yelp Reviews, we stopped and ordered a quick meal. I was expecting average, maybe slightly better than average, spaghetti options. The menu has a wide variety of options and each one of us ordered something different. The portions were quite large and we ate ourselves into a food coma after eating only half of what we ordered. Despite being quite always from our stopping point, we all got to go boxes as we couldn't bare to leave such leave such amazing food behind. We even stopped and bought a cooler with ice to ensure it stayed cold enough to be refrigerated at our hotel. The next day we opted to eat our leftovers at the hotel rather than go out for dinner. That is a first for our family!!! We had the spaghetti and meat sauce, chicken Alfredo, chicken piccata and lasagne. All were amazing! Opt for the chicken soup also. It's delicious!!! read more

I love everything but as an Italian, I can't forgive the watery sauce. There are many ways to avoid that and I would love to give them a positive review but my Nona would attack me from Heaven. Also, this review is based on two trips to the restaurant and 3-4 delivery orders. read more

Can not say enough great things about Bella's. My family and I love this place, it's like home away from home!

I'm originally from the NY, NJ, area, where there is fantastic pizza on every corner. This is one of the best pizzas I've had on this side of the Mississippi and the #1 or #2 pie I've had in Texas. The crust had all the right textures and easily took a fold hold, as it should. The sauce and cheese were great, and nothing was overly sweet or fake. A delicious pie. If I HAD to pick a nit, I might have preferred my cheese a little more golden, but that's an easy ask next time. Our server was attentive and exuded the small-town hospitality that made me fall in love with small-town Texas. Lampasas is "just down the road" from me (meaning a couple of hours), but I can see myself looking for excuses to visit there in the future--if for no other reason than having a couple of slices. read more

Update to my 5 star review from 2 years ago. Food for both me and my spouse was over salted. Bread and sweet tea was good. I've been dealing with indigestion now 4 hours later. This was my main Italian go to spot for great food. Waitresses would rather talk and laugh in the back corner than ask if food is alright, and ask if we need anything halfway thru the meal. When I have to walk to the front counter and ask for a to-go box and to pay for my meal. It's time to stop supporting this business. read more

Went here yesterday with family. Opted for a salad and while the serving was plentiful, the quality of the salad was interesting to say the least. Cheaply used cuts of salami that you can find in any grocery store next to the bologna that was $13.00. However, our waitress was nice and very accommodating with my order which is why I am giving this the rating that I did. Wouldn't willingly go back unless someone else was picking up the tab. read more

So we stopped here driving down from Dallas to south Texas. Happened on this place upon the reviews... Well I have to say We are not disappointed at all. Got seated right away. Our dinner came out right away. Everything is so good, so fresh. The bread rolls are incredible. I had shrimp scampi and hubs had spaghetti with meatballs. (good size portion) My scampi was so delicious, my husband had the minestroni soup, I had salad... . Everything was incredibly amazing. Excellent service, Such a clean place too. read more

FIRST THING..GET THE SOUP (you can get salad anywhere..lol) My kids brought me some leftovers from here about a year ago, they were delish as well as my meal today. I seldom eat out at restaurants, today I spoiled myself with Veal Parmesan, my fav! When I got my main dish the Veal was overcooked and impossible to eat. The waiter was quick to have it redone and it was delicious as I expected. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this meal and will definitely be back. Don't forget desert...the cake was delish!!! read more

The food is delicious every time you go and eat. The staff is wonderful, and very attentive. The owner of the restaurant comes and makes sure you are enjoying your dish. Spaghetti is my most favorite dish of all. I get the meat sauce and it's the best! They give you lots of rolls and any sauce you want to dip, you roll. Their chicken Alfredo is also delicious! The cook spends time and effort worth all the sauces they make, all their dishes are so good. I recommend this business to anyone looking for authentic Italian food. Compliments to the chef! read more

We ate here for a Christmas gathering for work. The place was clean the party room was already set up for us. We had a few people cancel at the last minute but that was not a problem. There were 7 of us. Menu service was fully available. Our server was super attentive, kept glasses full, bread on the table, plates clear. Brought us a trash bag for Christmas gift wrap and our disposable plates for the cake we brought. Honestly she was great. The portions of food were larger than expected. Everyone had a take home box. Chicken Parmigiana was my meal and I felt it was great. Pasta was perfectly cooked. And can't speak to anyone else's meal but everyone said their food was good. I will admit that I hadn't been here in years because my meal back then was not good. I in fact wasn't looking forward to coming here. I was wrong and I'm very glad that I came back. read more

Like a little slice of Italy in the middle of Lampasas :-o (But not like those people who think real Italian comes from Olive Garden or Little Caesar's) The fettuccine Alfredo was ahhh-mazing, as was the fried calimari. It was Friday night but the place wasn't crowded at all; the staff was all Italian through and through; and the food was, as mentioned before, amazing - like a home-cooked Italian supper. Finishing off with the limoncello cake was the perfect ending and we'll definitely be back for more! read more

We really enjoyed our lunches at Bella Italia. First, they come out with these garlic bread rolls, which were hot, fresh, and wonderful. Then, they came out with the salad, which was fresh and delicious. And then came the entrees. My meat stromboli was hot, fresh, and delicious. Plus, if you come on weekdays at lunch, they have lunch specials. We would definitely come back here the next time we are in town. read more

I contacted Bella Italia Lampasas in November to reserve a room for Sun Dec 3 as my motorcycle group was participating in the Tri-County Toy Run from Temple to Lampasas and we wanted to make sure this small restaurant could accommodate us for a very late lunch at 3pm. Patricia reserved the back room for 25 and said she would be happy to add another table if we needed more seats. We had excellent service and everyone was satisfied with their food. We were served by 2 very sweet young waitresses, Hadley and Chloe, and another blonde that i unfortunately didnt catch her name (possibly Patricia the mgr?) . They served us promptly, and although this establishment does not serve wine or beer, they did inform us we could BYOB. A few of my riders were able to walk across the street to a convenience store & bring back some drinks. Hadley even brought a bucket of ice to keep the beer cold! The menu is very reasonably priced, the chicken pasta dishes and lasagna were tasty, as was the eggplant parmesan. The calamari was not such a hit, (cut a bit thick and rubbery), but we didnt complain, as the service was impeccable and these girls worked hard to make our visit memorable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

This is a gem in the fabric of mid Texas. My favorite is the veal puttensca. You are transported to Italia in a meal. The chef is a genius and I wonder why he is in Lampasas instead of San Antonio or Dallas. This restaurant is not to be missed. Stopped here for the first time this afternoon, service was quick and exceptional. Food was amazing and very large portions. Kiddo had the cheese pizza, which I didn't think would be that good since it's only a cheese pizza, but it was absolutely delicious. I had to Veal Parmesan and it was wonderful. We will be eating on our leftovers for the next day or so. And will make this a regular stop over on our weekly trip to Hamilton, from Marble Falls. read more

We stopped in on our way through town. Glad we rolled the dice on this place. The owners were great, very attentive and hard working.
