Killeen... y'all have been GATEKEEPING Little Italy Italian Restaurant and I don't appreciate it. I went last night because I was STARVING and craving Italian food. I ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Crimora and cheese sticks... BABY. It was so good I woke up at 3AM and ate some more. I didn't even warm it up with dignity. I just knew there were leftovers in that refrigerator calling my name. 10/10. I WILL be back. Now tell me... what else have y'all been hiding in Killeen?! -- eating dinner at Little Italy, Killeen TX. read more

Came in after many years. Still a solid restaurant with Italian food. I ordered the appetizer sampler and the shrimp arrabbiata. The sampler was good. All warm and fresh. I could not decide between the shrimp or the chicken Murphy because both had jalapeños. I had a bite of the chicken Murphy. The shrimp pasta was good don't get me wrong, but the chicken Murphy had way more going on spice and flavor wise. The shrimp dish had a good tomato sauce , but I was looking for a kick. I love spicy foods. I had a bite of the pepperoni pizza and it was good! Don't tell my little I ate a slice lol I had the tiramisu. I had three bites before my family demolished it. We had such awesome service and enjoyed the ambiance. I'm definitely coming back if I'm in town. Thank you for a great lunch and awesome experience. read more

The food was excellent. HOWEVER, we were charged for a glass of Chianti that my husband spilled. The glass broke. "Accidents happen. It's ok." That's what our server said. She asked if he wanted another glass. Which I thought was silly. He hadn't even drank from the glass. When she returned she said she has to charge us for the glass of wine he spilled. "If that's OK." I said what if it's not OK? She didn't answer. This long review to say, never in my life have I had to pay for a drink that was spilled. Ever! I told her this when she brought the bill. She said if she spilled wine she would have to pay for it as well. "That's what the manager said." Your dessert was crappy. My fault because she said it's not made in-house. I ordered it anyway. I did not speak to the manager. Our server shared my frustrations. I am posting on here. This is ridiculous. If this is the way you treat a Vietnam Veteran who suffers from Alzheimer's then shame on you. We will not patronize your restaurant again. read more

Hidden gem alert this amazing Italian restaurant has been in business for 26 years and this is my first time coming here. I know exactly why they've been in business for so long. The food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is clean and very inviting. It's like a little tour in Italy I started off with a glass of Chardonnay had some stuffed mushrooms which were really delicious. I will let you know that the filling is more of like a stuffing a garlic stuffing, but really delicious. Our waitress was so sweet. I'm sad. I didn't get her name but when you come here you will be welcomed on the spot and the pasta is so fresh. Everything's freshly made homemade because the owner takes true pride in his work! For entrées, my friend had the chicken Murphy which comes in a pink sauce has onions, jalapeños chicken and spaghetti that's his absolute favorite when he comes to little Italy that's what he gets. He swears by it. It's a 10 out of 10! I had the Shrimp Calabrese it comes with a pink sauce. It has shrimp, mushrooms, artichokes, and red bell pepper with spaghetti pasta I was so impressed by this meal I couldn't stop eating. The flavor was out of this world. It was a 10 out of 10. If you're looking for a good Italian spot that's traditional and makes dishes with pure love. Come and check out little Italy you won't be disappointed. It's a perfect spot for family a first date and even if you wanna come by yourself this place is a 10 out of 10. read more

Oh no. Let me first say something positive--about the friendly and attentive service. But really, this is just unfortunate, foodwise. From the ho-hum starter bread rolls to the marinara (was it really homemade?) to the half-inch of water in the bottom of the bowl of spaghetti (unforgivable). Sorry, but this will not pass a serious reviewer. read more

The food tastes great, but for the last 6 months, the meals have been swimming in oil. It's very disappointing to have to put sheets of bounty paper towels on my food, to soak up the excessive amount of oil, before I can eat my food. It is disappointing to have this happen again, for the approximately 20th time. PLEASE USE A LOT LESS OIL, BUTTER, FAT. read more

Ordered pickup from Little Italy. They gave my wife the wrong order. After our dinner I called and they said, "No refund because she ate the dish we gave her. You have to bring it back." Very poor customer service. We've been faithful customers for many years but no more. So I'm supposed to drive all the way home, discover the wrong order, drive all the way back w the wrong order while my food at home gets cold...no, that's stupid. We won't be back. read more

The ambiance is great! The pizza was the best! Although a little pricey for a medium to large meat lovers pizza at $21.00. Some of their pasta dishes are a little too saucy. The rolls are always great. I think the rolls should automatically come with the oil and garlic to dip them in instead of just the cold butter pats. The service was great. read more

This was the 1st time we went to Little Italy restaurant and didn't like our meal. The bread wasnt fresh. My meal chicken parm.. the chicken was rubbish. Plus grit bites. The sauce didn't have flavor. The little tour my got the sauce didn't have flavor and was oily. The stuff mushrooms were very bad. Stuff with there own mushrooms. No flavor. I will not return again. read more

This is a place that may often be overlooked but shouldn't be. Very Mediterranean Italian vibe with so many seafood choices besides other pasta options you may not find in other places. I had the little Italy specialty it was chicken, veal and jumbo shrimp over linguine with a white wine garlic sauce. It was amazing. We had pizza as our starter and it was fantastic. Then the desserts! Wow a great selection and a very low price. I got the chocolate cheesecake and it was heaven. The service was five stars always there helpful and happy to bring anything we wanted. This is now my go to for Italian food in the area! read more

The food is tasty and the service is always served with a smile. I tried the chicken a la king and their garlic bread. Yum! Creamy Alfredo sauce and tons of raw garlic on the bread. I see why ppl recommend this place for Italian in the area. The interior is old school Italian diner vibe, it's quaint and homey. read more

Great food, large portions, reasonable price. Great service and ambiance. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

The super amazing Tiramisu is my all-time favorite. Visiting the restaurant after over 3 years and nothing has changed - the same amazing service, the homemade flavors of delicious food and the best Tiramisu you can taste. Took some colleagues here and they loved the food equally. This is my go-to restaurant when in Killeen. Go to Little Italy if you are in the mood for some good Italian food. read more

Surprisingly really good!! I have to be honest, I went in with low expectations but it was really good! I unfortunately don't remember our servers name but she was great and super sweet. Overall, a good place to catch up with family and quiet enough for easy conversation. As for food, I only got a Caesar salad, but I had some of my mother in laws chicken parm and my husbands spaghetti and meat sauce and all of it was really good!! We had almost no leftovers, and that's AFTER eating an embarrassing amount of bread lol. I will be back! read more

I decided to come out of Yelp retirement to do a public service by sharing how NASTY my dinner was this evening. I'm actually offended y'all thought it was okay to not only serve us this food but charge as much as you do for it. We ordered Chicken Picatta, some veal dish and calamari (not pictured). How you get a pasta dish to be soggy, squishy, oily and BLAND all at the same time is beyond me. Calamari was also bland but over cooked. The only part of this meal that was edible were the bread rolls. Immediately after these photos were taken, I threw my food out and had a bowl of cereal for dinner instead. I'm all for supporting small business but you guys seriously need to do better because this was not okay. I wish I had pasta roni instead. read more

When I lived in Killeen (2006-2011), Little Italy was our families go to restaurant. It's not fancy in terms of setting, but a friendly environment and the service is wonderful. As for the food, their bread is well prepared and comes with a oil dip which is very good . Their Alfredo is flavorful with tons of chicken. read more

This place is one of the best Italian food eateries I've ever been at. It is at least as good as that upon a talion place that my Maltese friend took me to for her sons wedding in Albuquerque. It is as good as any Italian place in Phoenix. I really like pizzeria Bianco but I do not consider to be Italian food. This was some of the best noodles and breads in their dishes that I've ever had. This is as good as my grandmothers cooking and she was raised in Trieste Italy. The service was good. The selection was very authentic and quite yummy. If I ever want to dream of the best Italian food ever my brain is going to Little Italy. read more

You ever get those days where you just want a good tiramisu and a cup of coffee? We'll today was that day. Hubby and I decided to get just desserts today with a nice cup of coffee. We ordered two tiramisu's, chocolate mousse cake, and a cheesecake! Our server was so kind and friendly as well. As for the ambiance it was little, cozy, and family friendly. They also had a small patio in the front in case you wanted to eat outside. Can't wait to come back to try their food! Oh! And we ordered a bottle of Chianti to take home to enjoy later. read more

I went to a local Italian establishment last night to eat with my colleagues. Instead of being charged $43.80. I was charged $431.80. When I brought it to their attention, the lady apologized and went to fix the issue. The owner comes over and snatches the keypads from her in an attempt to refund me $390. Well he charged me another $390. Now, being this is a lot of money and yet another mistake I became irritated. Then the owner and staff tried to paint me like an angry black woman. They finally call over another guy to assist and CC VOID the $390. I said you still owe me money because you charged me $431.80. So, after going back and forth with them they finally refunded my $388. I understand people make mistakes, however to get an attitude when I asked for my money back which is over $800 unacceptable. Then they went and talked about me to my teammate and his wife. Again painting me like I was the one in the wrong for getting upset. However, I stated to them that if I had not paid they would have quickly called the cops. Yet, you over charge me and refuse to give me my money back...Little Italy count your days. It takes a lot to take me out my element. However, the way I was treated as a Black Woman last night was unfathomable. At least the lady apologized for her mistake. The owner never did. Even though he overcharged me again. read more

This was an okay restaurant nothing to jump up and down about. The garlic rolls were not anything that I expected, more like some rolls with garlic spread on top. The Manhattan Clam Chowder was excellent. Salads were great also. Meat Lasagna was good kind of light on the meat in the sauce. I had the spaghetti with meatball and sauce. The sauce was almost like tomato soup with diced tomatoes. I make a better sauce from scratch than they do. The Alfredo sauce was just as runny on another meal at the table. I will say I will not be making a second trip back to this establishment. Meal started off badly when my wife asked for Pinot Gris and the server came back and said they were out at 1800 at night. read more

I got the garlic dipping oil (that isn't on the menu). They put way too much much oil. After pouring some of the oil off, it was delicious with the hot bread. For my main, I had the Chicken Marsala with a side salad. It was delicious and the chicken was very large. Well worth the money. It's decorated with an Italian decor. The waitress was very attentive. I have no complaints on that end. read more

The restaurant was nice and casual. The server was nice as well. Now the appetizer we ordered The Combo Platter, was not very good. The breaded mushrooms were extremely over cooked as was the calamari. The tossed salad was a nice surprise with the house dressing. My manicotti was delicious, but we expected a little more from the Fettuccini Modo Mio, it wasn't all as great as what we hoped for, my husband said it was good just not great. read more

I can never resist a veal piccata and this one was quite original. A lot of yummy sauce and a good portion of veal over spaghetti.
