Lamb gyro sandwich with pita bread

Gotta love their cannoli but look to spend almost $5 each. We've ordered for delivery from them twice. It all started when we saw a car in a parking lot that displayed La Roma. Their menu choices are pretty good too! Finally we tried the stromboli. It's like a folded pizza with dipping sauce. That was tummy-satisfying. To my personal surprise, I enjoyed the white pizza with spinach over the eggplant parm sammy. In any case there are at least four items I savor for flavor, so we're bound to order from them again! Buon Appetito!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

It was about $18 for a 12inch pizza (said large when ordered, that was the size I got). Pretty expensive for what you get. It's extremely thin crust. But it tasted average.

Let me see what all the hype is about lol

Ok...the hype is legit! Ordered a small veggie pizza & it was ON POINT! I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and related that to my Jehovah's Witnesses friends who highly recommended La Roma. I was not disappointed. I intended to eat a few slices & Dave some for later. Well that didn't happen. I ate the entire pie! It was sooooooo fresh and flavorful and all the ingredients melded together for a perfect party in my mouth. I'm a fan! Especially with the many menu items I desire to savor. Highly recommend & look forward to returning many many more returns.

This was supposed to be the Chicken Parmigiana Sub.... This is obviously not a sub.

We all enjoyed the pizza and the wings were yummy. Kids devoured everything. Staff was very nice and food was done quickly.

Joe’s Pizza & Pasta - Meatball Hot Sub and Chicken Parmigiana with Garlic Bread

I had low expectations for Joe's because of their funny-looking old school logo, but I did in fact…read moreenjoy the food. The interior was also cleaner and nicer than the vibe I got from the sign. I got the chicken parmigiana lunch for takeout, which is $3 more if you get it during dinner time. I also got the meatball hot sub. After a $2 service fee, my total was $30, which was great value for how much food I got. I ended up getting 3.5 meals out of these two dishes. The chicken parmigiana lunch was delicious. The pasta and chicken were both very tasty. It came with garlic bread, which I think only had garlic on half of it. The meatball sub was gigantic. The meat didn't exactly suit my taste buds, but the sub was still tasty.

Varied menu we went with the Meat pizza, they did not have Coke Zero and the only coke they had was in the Bottle with pure sugar. So a little overload. Food was great and the service was wonderful, nice atmosphere to this place. The only issue came when I went to pay the bill they could not get a manager to come to the register to okay the lunch, seems like they did not know how to handle this transaction. Made the experience not as good as it had started. The waitress said she would take care of it and for us not to wait around. They also have Gelato at the store and they have wonderful pastries which we picked up the following week for our son's birthday. Pastries were excellent and reminded me of bakeries in the Bronx.

We told our waitress and her response was "oh no! I'm sorry, let me get the manager because she'll want to talk to you. She's just downstairs." The manager showed up and after a brief description of the issue, apologized and took that food off our bill. We felt sincerely cared. To add to their sweetness, we always forget to take pictures. A separate waitress took great photos for us....and happily greeted us when my cousin returned to grab her purse she left behind 15 minutes later. The vibes were great, and even though we came on a busy Saturday night, we didn't have to wait for a table. It's a nice romantic atmosphere, but there were also plenty of families with kids there as well. We got the OakFire Street Taco pizza, and it was amazing. I love trying unique pizzas, and this was one of the very few that stood out to us on the menu. The two of us shared a 20 inch pizza and finished it all. This was with a man who eats a lot, so I would probably normally get the smaller pizza. They have a selection of beer and wine as well as a few prosecco beverages, mimosas, and wine spritzers on a back page of the menu. I got the strawberry fields prosecco, and it was a tasty and sweet drink. My date got the Creek Don't Rise Lager and Lagersaurus Tex, which he enjoyed as a beer drinker.

Our waitress was "Augie" (short for Augustina) The food was the big surprise. The bread was amazing as was the dipping oil. The garlic butter with honey was wonderful on the bread. We got the tomato soup and it was one of the best I have had in a very long time. We got the eggplant rollitini. The butterfly pasta was the star of the dish. While the eggplant was excellent the butterfly pasta I could have eaten every day. The green beans were a little over cooked but still not bad. I will include a picture of the HUGE slice of chocolate cake I received. I will be eating it for a week. The price for four people was $150. So it was not outrageous. Recommended.

The evening started with a game of Restaurant Hide and Seek. After being seated, we sat for quite a while wondering if we were part of a social experiment--no water, no menus, no acknowledgment. Eventually a waiter arrived and, very honestly, said he was there to take our order because we'd been "ignored." Accurate assessment. We placed our order, and later a woman who appeared to be a manager brought out our appetizer, apologized for no one taking care of us, and said the appetizer would be comped. A very nice gesture--unfortunately one that didn't make it to the bill, where the appetizer showed up like it never heard that conversation. The food itself? Genuinely good. No complaints there. However, my wife's Caesar salad never arrived. She didn't bring it up because, frankly, after the earlier disappearing-staff act, it felt like tempting fate. We paid the bill (about $100), including a surprise 3% credit card fee we didn't see posted anywhere. We opted to take dessert home, mostly because the night already felt complete... enough. Bottom line: the food has real potential, but the service needs leadership, consistency, and maybe a map. It's hard to justify coming back in the future when you factor in parking fees, credit card fees, and the possibility of being politely ignored on a special occasion. It's a shame--good food deserves better service.
