What a hidden gem. This is our new go-to place for pizza. Pizza is delicious. Not that gross slimly cheese you find at most places. And, their pizza heats up good the next day (some pizza doesn't reheat). Service is always great. Pizza comes out fast and is very tasty. Great selection of desserts. And the prices are in line with other pizza places. Def a huge step up over the chain pizza places. Now that Bosses Pizza closed, La Roma is where we go for a quick and easy pizza dinner. read more

the driest pasta i have ever had in my 32 years of life. never have i experienced someone so stingy about tomato sauce !!! called to asked why theres no sauce on my pasta and was told it was 3 scoops of sauce.... do they measure in teaspoons ???? this is the saddest attempt of pasta. ill stick to eating at Joes and Italianos ..Just overall BAD food and BAD customer service. Slooooow delivery. No reason it is Saturday. Ordered two sauces and only got one. Olives should be cut up (I cut them up). Pizza is pretty good. I like the crust. Sauce could be better (more flavorful). I will not make this mistake again, I will get food here just not delivery in the future. We got pizza, Alfredo, spaghetti, and cheesy garlic bread The pizza was really good, they have really good marinara but the crust wasn't as crispy as I liked on the bottom. The Alfredo wasn't my favorite. It just tasted like melted butter and no added flavor. I put some salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese on it which helped the flavor a little, it was really just missing that creamy sauce. The spaghetti was pretty good because again, their marinara was so good. The garlic bread was really garlicky which I love! However I just wish it was a little crispier. The service and pricing were a 10/10 and I think if they focus on flavor and seasonings, the food would be a 10/10 as well. read more

Gotta love their cannoli but look to spend almost $5 each. We've ordered for delivery from them twice. It all started when we saw a car in a parking lot that displayed La Roma. Their menu choices are pretty good too! Finally we tried the stromboli. It's like a folded pizza with dipping sauce. That was tummy-satisfying. To my personal surprise, I enjoyed the white pizza with spinach over the eggplant parm sammy. In any case there are at least four items I savor for flavor, so we're bound to order from them again! The pizza was Luke warm when I got there at the specified time and I thought they accidentally spilled a little bit of the toppings I ordered on the pizza. That's how little toppings were on it. Ok...the hype is legit! Ordered a small veggie pizza & it was ON POINT! I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and related that to my Jehovah's Witnesses friends who highly recommended La Roma. I was not disappointed. I intended to eat a few slices & Dave some for later. Well that didn't happen. I ate the entire pie! It was sooooooo fresh and flavorful and all the ingredients melded together for a perfect party in my mouth. I'm a fan! Especially with the many menu items I desire to savor. Very good pizza. We stopped in on a whim and ordered a pepperoni pizza and a chicken alfredo pizza. Both were good. I prefer traditional New York pizza and my husband prefers Dominos thin crust, this was the perfect combination of the 2. My kids who are loyal Little Caesars fans said this is their new favorite. We don't live in Temple, but when we come here to shop we will definitely stop back here. My only complaint is that their main dinning room was "closed" so we had to cram around a tiny table next to the front door, next time we will probably call ahead for take out. read more

Calzone, very little ingredients. More like a pancake. Second try.... Meatball sub...no flavor, too salty, threw it away. Horrible! Calzone repeat...ricotta, mozzarella and a little spinach. I ordered what was supposed to be the Chicken Parmigiana Sub.... This is obviously not a sub. I was really looking forward to my order, so you can imagine how disappointed I was to see pasta instead of a tasty sandwich. When I tried to call the restaurant to rectify the situation, it rang 9 times before I hung up. As I was so hungry, I decided to give the pasta a try. We have been going to La Roma's for years. We use to drive out to Morgan's Point, but now that they are in Temple on W Adams its much easier to stop by on a whim. Pizza is good. Sandwiches at lunch are good too. Friendly staff and owner is there a lot too. Its also nice that they have a drive thru. read more

Food quality was better than average, but that is where the good ends. Our 2 calzones were served 36 minutes after ordering, which seemed too long. Customer service, while not rude, was timid and had no sense of urgency. Additionally, our order was not prepared as ordered even after the cashier repeating our order. Sadly, when our food was served, it seemed as if the server just left the gym, wearing nasty gym attire. This establishment is in need of a manager who knows how to train staff. read more

Overpriced, terrible management skills. I ordered a Greek salad and since they could not use Romain lettuce I asked for spinach. They charge me an extra $1.75 to use spinach in the salad.
