This is the first time in years that I've been in a Pizza Hut. The seating area is comfortable and pleasant, the place is clean and the service is friendly. The view is nice at this hilltop location in Lampasas. I ordered an individual pan pizza and had my heart set on a deep dish, but this is a tiny flat pizza with thick crust. Maybe it's the franchise standard but it is still disappointing. It's not a return-customer scenario. read more

OK, we get there and the restaurants really slow. There was just another family and my wife and I in there. The waitress comes up to take our order. I was going to order wings for an appetizer and she says I'm sorry we have no wings. So I say how about a salad OK and we order our pizza and we wait. The pizza comes to the table and the waitress says I'm sorry we had no salad. This was told us after a 20 minute wait. Waiter was really nice. Service was good, place was overall tidy and neat. Wait time was a little longer than expected, but the cheese sticks and stuffed crust pizza were worth it. Had plenty of leftovers and atmosphere was overall friendly. 10/10 read more

We've ordered pizza here many times & had issues before of them making the order incorrect. Tonight we ordered and the pizza was missing a piece out of it. We thought maybe it shifted in the box but when we tried pushing it together the pieces didn't fit. Called the store and the manager was not helpful, and blamed us for the missing piece. read more

Very disappointed! The pizza was doughy and the crust was soggy, probably from to much sauce. This Pizza Hut is by far was the worst I have ever eaten at and does not serve beer. Most people love pizza and beer! This location also has a table set up for POW/MIA along with a frame (letter) explaining what everything on the table represented. However, the letter explains a round table, but the table was square. We asked the waiter to get the manager so we could let her know, but she never came out to speak to us. You would think they offer a military discount, but we were told they do not. As a veteran, I felt disrespected to act like you love the military but do nothing for them or do not set up the table correctly. Very disappointed and will not be back! What a joke of a restaurant. I showed up to pick an order and was told not ready only to find out the order was ready the whole time and just sitting there for 25 minutes while the girl at the front knew I was waiting. You n3ed to fire this girl. Never go here anyone. read more

My wife and I dined in at the Pizza Hut in Lampasas this evening. The experience was lackluster at best. We were looking forward to the last experience we had at Pizza Hut. You are seated by the server at your table. Menus are brought to you and you are asked what you would like to drink. Your drinks are brought out and you order your pizza. Plates and silverware are brought out. Once the pizza is done, the pizza pan is set on a circle of cork to protect the table. The server serves everyone their first piece. The server occasionally stops by to refill your drinks. When you're done, the server boxes up the leftover pizza for you to take home and might even offer a drink to go. Tonight we seated ourselves. We were told that they only had one menu and it was located on the front counter. Our drinks were brought to us, but no refills were ever offered. No one checked on us or asked how our meal was. The pizza was brought to us in a to go box. Two paper plates were provided. When we were done we took our box of pizza and left. No one said thank you or anything else as we left. The pizza was good, but next time we'll just order online and pick it up. At least there are online coupons we can use and we get reward points. read more

I wish I could give it less than 1 star but I'll give it to them that they were open during the ice storm. Thought I would have my cousin grab a pizza on his way home and what he brought was so sad and disgusting. We can't eat it because of all the grease. Also, not even the correct order. I ordered regular pepperoni to avoid some of this grease and they still put 2 kinds on there. It's raw in the very middle and there's literally puddles of grease within the pepperonis. Not even toasting it can make it edible. The first piece I picked up, half of it stuck to the box cause it's raw and laden with so much grease. I'm not an idiot; I know it's not gourmet pizza but they charge gourmet prices so a little effort would be greaaaat. I realize it's corporate that raises prices & they don't pay employees enough to care but surely something can be done better? They forgot my extra icing for my Cinnabon mini rolls & then barely drizzled much on them. That's money I'll never see again. I don't care how much it was, it was mine & I feel like it was stolen b/c the products I DID receive are of such poor quality that it doesn't make up for the cost difference of $1. read more

It's Pizza Hut right? Not a fancy restaurant with a gourmet chef or a five star menu. So I know you're not reading this review for anything earth-shattering about the food. (Although Pizza Hut is STILL my favorite pizza of all time) But this review goes into what matters at a little fast food joint in a small town - the experience. First off, this place is clean...like surprisingly clean. Second, the staff always greets you and actually sounds genuinely happy you're there (yes we can tell when management forces you to say hello ) Third, I don't have to check my pizzas to make sure you got them right - you do it for me before I leave. And b. , if they do mess up they go above and beyond to make sure you know they'll make it up to you. It's not like there's a lot of choices for pizza in Lampasas but they still set the bar high. And with employees like Nichole tonight...they guarantee return business. Way to go Pizza Hut...way to go. read more

Twice visited this Pizza Hut in town , bad experience both times, my daughter and I wanted to dine in few months ago , they had nothing we asked for .... They should have just closed the store for the day , they even said they ran out of dough?? Employers rude both times dingy dirty messy long hair and clothes.. Another time was during a time we all had Covid and wanted our pizza delivered , 45 min.. had past I finally decided to call and the employer said they didn't even know where the pizza hut delivery person was at , so I drove to the pizza hut put on my mask and ordered my pizza . Place was empty. Waited at entry for 10 minutes. Finally a guy came to register- not to help us mind you. We asked if we should seat ourselves. He said sure. Didn't offer a menu. So we had to take one from the counter. Waited 10 more minutes. No one acknowledged us. Two other parties came in and ordered. There we sat. Another 5 minutes; we left. No one even said goodbye. Half my pizza didn't have any cheese on it. Unfortunately this is the closest Pizza Hut around (40 minute drive) and to pay $11 for a medium pizza that was pretty much like eating bread with way too much sauce. If love to say that I'd just drive the extra miles to Killeen next time but instead I'll probably just order extra cheese (which is crap to pay for extra cheese just to ensure my slices actually have cheese on them) and light sauce. Stopped in on a Saturday night for a pizza, has to wait 4 minutes for a waitress to seat me, and then just told me to sit anywhere. Food was delivered at table in a timely manner, only 2-3 other tables had customers. Staff was busy answering phones and prepping delivery orders.my waitress stopped in to check on things about 2-3 times during my 45 minute stay. All in all not a bad or good visit. read more

We usually get delivery from here....usually pretty ok but sometimes wings aren't well sauced and have to always check they put the extra sauce and parm n red pepper flakes in. We live 4 miles north of Burnet, but make the drive to Lampasas. Their pizza is great and RIGHT. Very nice employees, too. The one in Burnet is like it's made by a pissed off five year old. And the order is never right. Make the drive. read more

The pizza is doughy and under cooked. The toppings are very poor quality. The chicken wings are over fried and hard. They are nothing but elongated nuggets. The dipping sauces are really poor quality.All this can be tolerated if it is fast and convenient. It, however, is not. You may wait up to an hour past your delivery times or it may not come at all. We now keep frozen pizza on hand for our convenience. We will never order from here again. We have other pizza joints in this town. read more

Our last 3 visits to Pizza Hut Have been a great experience...The entire staff is very friendly and welcomes you... The pizza is done as ordered fresh and hot...Our waitress Sierra is very friendly and let's you know the current specials being offered at the time.. Went for Sunday buffet, the pizza was cold and the selection was poor. Silverware wasn't clean. Wouldn't recommend...

My wife and I went there last week. We are new to the area but all other Pizza Huts we have been to had a salad bar on the buffet, (Colorado, Wyoming & Nebraska). This one did not. The pizza was okay but didn't get replenished at all when we were there. We won't return. read more
