Five stars for a fast food place? Yep. Ordered in the app and used curbside. Within two minutes of checking in they brought my drink to my car and let me know the food was cooking. I've never had another fast food place bring out the drink first but it makes sense and it's great customer service. The food? Whataburger. You know what you get and you get what you order. We sat in the drive through while they ignored the second lane repeatedly. My husband got out of the car to address the situation and got "I don't know I'm new" as an excuse. Then proceeded to keep waiting watching others get their food first. RIDICULOUS! There was only one other car when we got there. This is the best Whataburger I've ever been to! It is very clean and everything is brand new (I read that it just opened a couple of months ago). The bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. The restaurant is decorated in a fresh almost industrial feel with the orange and gray stools and some of the tables even have a design printed on it with the custom round stickers you get on your burger - no onions, dry, etc. Our order came out exactly as we placed it and was delivered to our table very promptly. The burger was hot off the drill and fries were hot and crispy. The staff all wore clean and sharp looking uniforms and best of all were very friendly (and you can even tell they were smiling, even while wearing a mask)! People that came in behind me got their orders ate and had left and yet still no fries, I went up to the counter and never could get anyone to wait on me, I had an appointment I had to get to so I had to leave after being there for 30 minutes total, never got the fries I had ordered. I made the mistake of stopping here on a road trip, they charge you up front like chick fil a but don't tell you you will be trapped for 30 minutes. Because they make you pay so early you are stuck. That is the longest drive through time I have ever been in. My ticket is 1:37 pm- I got food at 1503. The food is good but I never would have stopped if I had realized how long it would take. There is a reason chick fil a does the drive through the way it does, for efficiency. This was as far from that as you could get. read more

I travel from Weatherford TX to Blanco often but just noticed the a newer Whataburger in Lampasas and decided to swing by upon my return trip. I'm sure glad I did! I was in a bit of a hurry so I used the drive thru and was wowed by the great service! I had to use a $50 to pay so I wasn't sure they'd have change and asked the young man (Aiden) at the window. With the assistance of the manager, Malorie they were able to handle it with no complaint. The young man was wearing a bow tie and was so very courteous and kind. His name plate was not quite visible so I made a point to ask his name name because I was so impressed with him manners! I pulled up and waited what seemed like only a few minutes. When my food arrived it was hot and very good but I think it seemed all the better because of the great service! It left me with such a great feeling, I actually pulled over at rest stop before getting home and called and spoke with the manager and told her she was obviously doing a great job of training and asked he to please thank the young man for me and tell him what an impression he's making! Because I was treated so well, I will be sure to stop in next trip and check out the interior and enjoy the respectful treatment and great food! read more

Nice place! It was clean and remodeled. We were just gonna get fries and eat them while driving, but everyone was so nice and the food looked so good we decided to stay and eat in. A nice gentleman delivered us our order to our seat, what is that about I didn't realize they had that level of service. Been here 6 times since they opened and at first they truly sucked. Cold fries and cold burgers. Just had them again today and my food was very hot and fresh. Also was hot and fresh the last time I was in town to visit my gma. Maybe they were overwhelmed. I went in the afternoon and got a WB Jr and I almost forgot to ask for no onions and the kind lady asked me. There was quite a bit of mustard so maybe ask for light mustard. This is a new addition to Lampasas and for a restaurant opening in the middle of the Covid crisis they had hurdles to jump. The service was slow at first and you could tell the kitchen was Chaos with all brand-new employees trying to get in the groove, but they have grown into the Whataburger of fresh, hot food served in a timely manner just as we are familiar with. So if you stopped in a few months ago and found the service slow it is greatly improved now. read more

Stopped here thinking because it is rather new, would be clean and up to the usual Whataburger standards. Wrong on every level. Filthy bathrooms at lunch time, food cold and literally burger ingredients must have been thrown at burger...a pickle on one side, tomato on the other, some onions and lettuce down middle. Manager in sight but as we were only people in line, completely ignored us. The accompaniments person finally came over and took our order. Such a totally bad experience all around. Would highly discourage anyone to stop in, much less get something to eat here. read more

This is the slowest Whataburger in Texas. Seriously the slowest whether it's dine in, curbside or drive thru.

Whataburgers are all dreadfully slow, made worse by the current employee shortage. We passed through Lampasas on 9/3 and this was the only restaurant not packed. We went in and it was indeed packed, but they really hustled and were quick and efficient. I don't understand why every whatburger is not like this one. read more

I love that Lampasas has attracted larger franchises but this one falls short ... just went through and waited 15 plus minutes for our order. We have given this location 10 tries and 7 have been fails. Once again our order is incorrect and NO NAPKINS. Napkins should be in every order.. period! I went to this Whataburger around 10 45-11am and was moved through pretty quickly. I had a really bad day yesterday which carried on into my morning and (in my opinion) I looked like a mess. One of the staff members told me that I am very pretty as she was handing me my order and I still can't stop smiling from it. Your staff is amazing :) read more
