I usually stop here to get gas when traveling between DFW and home in the Hill Country. The gas is always at an extremely low price point - and the windshield cleaners have an extra long handle so you can wipe across your windshield in one stroke - makes for less streaking and that awkward stain in the middle of your windshield. However - the cleanliness in this place has gone downhill big time over the last few months and the COVID precautions here are not enforced. Thanks, truckers from all over who knows where for not wearing your masks and getting all up on people in line to pay. Thanks, Stripes employees, for not enforcing Texas policy. This place is a necessary evil for gas and a clean windshield, but useless otherwise. I also see that some people on here give it a low rating because their Mexican food is subpar. The very visible dried fat and cheese in the food should be your clue as should the fact that you are buying Mexican cafeteria style food in a dirty gas station. It is Stripes. That says a lot. However it is better than most. Decent grill and it does have spacious restrooms. Cold drink selection is poor to average. Hot coffee is kept fresh. I have been in here at various times of the day and night and always have been able to get fresh and hot coffee read more

First, they don't put paper in the pumps to print a receipt for customers like me who frequently just want to get gas and leave without entering the store. I did enter the store and use the restroom. One sink was out of order one paper towel dispenser was out of order to urinals were out of order, and there was urine on the floor. Not very nice. I probably won't stop here again. read more

Don't go here. These people are the most insincere you'll ever deal with. When you walk in sometimes they'll greet you but they won't be looking at you. Im sure its because they have to and don't really want to. They cop an attitude when you ask a question about why a product has been out for so long. None of them seem happy to be there. A lot of the gas pumps are out of order quite often and the diesel pumps look like a hurricane hit them. You have to go inside to pay for your diesel. The grass has so much trash it looks like the city dump. They stand right outside the door smoking next to the trash can so if your a non-smoker go elsewhere. Forget about coffee, those machines have been down for over 2 weeks and still aren't fixed. There's more places to choose from that are way better than this ghetto gas station. read more

It's 1245 and I just stopped. The woman working said "I'm closed for sales". The door was unlocked and the store is open but I was a informed I can't buy anything for the next 20 minutes while she changed days. WTH?? The store is open but your not selling anything?? Ridiculous that this woman even has a job at all. Why even be there if your simply not selling anything? Total waste of stripes money to have this time open if she is just hanging out not selling anything. read more

We stopped when coming through to use the restroom and grab some food. The restrooms were very clean. Food was ok, mac and cheese was alittle cold BUT the nicest and most honest people working there. I left my cell phone in the store and realized about 5 miles down the road. I went back and the 2 nice young girls behind the counter had it and even called my mom to let her know! read more

We usually stop at Stripes on our road trips. The past two times we have stopped at this location to eat at the Laredo Taco Co they were out of food. I even called about 30 minutes before arriving to ask and they said they stop serving at 10PM. Well it turns out they stop making any food and consolidate everything around 8PM. I'm not one to usually give bad reviews just because I work in customer service, however my family and I went in this morning to get breakfast, the lady who took our order kept interpreting us. Every time we would say some she replied with "that it?" We then waited almost an hour for our food. The same lady then called us over and proceeded to raise her voice at us and say did you not order and said the order, then got an attitude when she had to make our order cause it wasn't ours. By far the worst customer service I have received. read more
