What is memorable about this place was the cashier. He was funny and friendly. He noticed that I had trouble finding what I was looking for (spicy peanuts) and directed me to the best location in the store to find it. We didn't visit the restrooms, but the main area was clean. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is they didn't have coke zero.

However - the cleanliness in this place has gone downhill big time over the last few months and the COVID precautions here are not enforced. Thanks, truckers from all over who knows where for not wearing your masks and getting all up on people in line to pay. Thanks, Stripes employees, for not enforcing Texas policy. This place is a necessary evil for gas and a clean windshield, but useless otherwise. I also see that some people on here give it a low rating because their Mexican food is subpar. The very visible dried fat and cheese in the food should be your clue as should the fact that you are buying Mexican cafeteria style food in a dirty gas station.
