I suspected that my unit was broken into, and the individual locked the unit after opening it. This is what thieves and cons do in Broward County, FL. This is done because the thief doesn't want to show forced entry on the lock. Anyway, since only the facility has the master key, it means that an employee there broke into my unit. People are desperate these days. Thieves are attracted to storage facilities. I would venture to say that a lot of these workers at these facilities are actually thieves. When questioned about this the first time I suspected, the manager became defensive. When I moved my belongings in, this manager told me there were cameras in all the hallways. This turned out to be a bold faces lie. "Scratch a liar and find a thief". Move or get a second lock. Staff is dishonest; liars, breaking into units and will steal.

In 7 years I have only asked one other time for it to be cut back but this time I have been completely ignored for months on end and through 3 managers. My backyard ONLY has palms and turf to ensure easy maintenance but I have now had to purchase 2 leafs blower/vaccs, rakes, pole saw, large tree trimming loppers, etc. since my yard is constantly filled with leaves as is my pool. Post storms is an absolute disaster that I have let go for years though it has cost many hours of labor and hired help to clean up mess from the other side of the wall. Any sort of acknowledgement would be nice but since it's behind their buildings, and obviously a me problem, I can't imagine I'll get a response until I drop off an invoice for the supplies and my hours of labor to clean it up myself this weekend.

I just let it go. However, the next two negative experiences have motivated me to take my business elsewhere. I'm an honest person who doesn't stand for being ripped off. I went to my storage with my key, the guy saw me struggling on the camera and came with WD to spray the lock but I accidentally bent the key. He tried to say it was the wrong key and tried to get me to have them cut the lock and buy a new one. I went home got my second key an exact replica of the one he said was t their key and opened it no problem. I Wasn't happy with the attempt to rip me off but I let that go. Now after updating my credit card info last month they say I was no longer on auto pay and charged me a late fee this month saying I canceled autopay which I did not. Total lie. I'm leaving this month and saving money so thank you and your corporate greed as it has motivated me to move to a more convenient spot and save $. Yay! It will more than make up for the rip off of which they will not get a second chance. At least not from me. The property manager, John, showed me around and I was able to view two of the storage units I was interested in. The units are of high quality and very clean inside the units also. I have to give a shout-out to John, because he went out of his way to explain everything as well as helped another customer with a quick request. He also showed me around the place, not just the units, but also the rental trucks, dollies, and I even took pictures of the accessories that I would need for my move. Now, let's talk about how much great value this place brings to storage facilities. On their website you can get really great prices.
