Later, when I called customer service, I received the correct details and was able to sign in over the phone. Since I did not sign in with her directly, I feel she has been acting hostile toward me ever since. Every time I come to the unit, she tries to create problems. For example, yesterday after work I stopped by to pick up some clothes. My T-shirt was dirty, so I quickly changed inside the unit, not realizing that this was not allowed. Instead of addressing me directly and professionally, she started screaming loudly across the floor, saying "No, no, you can't change here!" while I was on the phone. She then pointed at me and said, "You, you, you--I will terminate your contract!" This was unnecessary and very disrespectful. I want to make it clear that I have no issue following the rules. If she had spoken to me politely, I would have respected and complied immediately. However, the way she shouted and attempted to embarrass me in public was unacceptable. From the first day, her behavior has been unprofessional--she lied about prices, constantly talks on her phone with AirPods in, and looks at me in a hostile way. I do not know why she has a personal issue with me, as I have always remained calm and respectful, but her conduct makes me uncomfortable to even come to the unit. I kindly ask that this matter be addressed. Staff members should treat clients with professionalism and respect, not hostility. Please speak with her or take appropriate action, because the way she has behaved is not acceptable for a place of business. There is still construction on site, but the main facility is already in operation. I moved to my new place and have been renting a unit here for a couple of months. I do like the facility itself, but what happened on Sunday, October 7th is unacceptable. I was heading to a meeting and stopped by Extra Space Storage to get an item i needed. On my way down the elevator all systems stopped working, so the people inside couldn't go up anymore. None of our codes were working and the main door to the storage was wide open. Myself and two more people were trapped inside the gate and the codepad for the main gate was off. I saw another gate at the end of the parking lot through the construction and drove there to check if there was another solution. This gate had an actual lock with a code. More people arrived at the storage and they couldn't get in, as the codepads from the outside of the main gate were off as well. Then i called the Storage number and talked to the manager of this facility Raul, who was quite irritated and said that he would be there in the next two hours. We didn't have two hours for this. I had people waiting for me and the other two clients had training to attend, so i asked Raul to kindly give us the code to the lock from the other gate, so that we can be on our way. His answer was: "I don't know the code and I am going to end this call, I don't even work here". What? Raul arrived after an hour, and what totally blew us away was his in-person interaction with us. We were asking questions, he wouldn't talk to us at all. Then he walked and yelled angrily that he is going to open the lock from the other gate and let us out. He walked there, he walked back. Nothing. Then he opened security panels to engage manual unlock. The whole time he was either yelling or silent in anger, he didn't listen to our questions, he didn't show us any quality customer service, he didn't provide us with any solutions, but he showed us how management here handles situations when things go haywire. After an hour and 45 minutes the gate finally opened and we left. What an ugly customer experience. There is so many storage options, customer service must be on its best nowadays or you can lose business. Im including the pictures I took from my car of the other two people who were stuck with me, and the client who coudn't get in.

This is done because the thief doesn't want to show forced entry on the lock. Anyway, since only the facility has the master key, it means that an employee there broke into my unit. People are desperate these days. Thieves are attracted to storage facilities. I would venture to say that a lot of these workers at these facilities are actually thieves. When questioned about this the first time I suspected, the manager became defensive. When I moved my belongings in, this manager told me there were cameras in all the hallways. This turned out to be a bold faces lie. "Scratch a liar and find a thief". Move or get a second lock. Staff is dishonest; liars, breaking into units and will steal.
