They helped me move from a rental in Plantation into my own condo not far from there, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. I texted them a photo of my apartment furniture and VASO quickly gave me a quote. Even when my move-out date changed, they were super accommodating and responsive. On move-in day, they texted me early to confirm and arrived right on time with a truck that fit everything perfectly. Milos and Carlos were absolutely amazing--professional, fast, and extremely careful with all my belongings. They wrapped my glassware, bed, large furniture, and packed my flat screens and clothes using a special clothing rack. They even handled all the boxes I packed myself. As result the drivers ran the business in their our terms: changing the delivery schedule, increasing cubic feet, adding extra charges and most disturbing - no stay with the schedule, no communication with the United prime dispatcher and customer service, just saying one thing but doing other, but demanding full balance even half of the cargo is on unknown location. This ended up with extra charges ( shuttle fee return fee etc. leading to 60% cost increase. The only professional person really tried to help me was Molly, the customer service manager, otherwise it would be a total disaster. My only hope is to her, as she understood the havoc made by these randomly chosen local drivers and unnecessary charges inflicted by themselves while running own delivery in parallel with mine. Key Issues Encountered Excessive Hidden Fees: After providing an initial quote, the company tacked on approximately $10,000 in unexpected fees. The "Shuttle" Fee Controversy: The company charged an extra $1,600 shuttle fee, claiming through their office manager, Molly, that they "knew the neighborhood" and had to transfer goods from off-premises because they supposedly weren't allowed to park in front of the house. The Reality: There was never any secret about the destination neighborhood. The HOA had fully approved the move, and remarkably, another semi-truck was actively unpacking in the exact same neighborhood at that very instant. Hostage Goods & Pressure Tactics: Rather than contacting our nonprofit organization to resolve the logistical dispute, Molly went directly to the vulnerable widow while her household goods were being held hostage on a truck sitting outside the neighborhood. Victimization of the Client: Because the widow was already overwhelmed with stress and desperately waiting for her belongings, she was prepared to pay the unfair fee out of her own pocket just to get her items back. Fortunately, our team stepped in and stopped the transaction. Property Damage: During the move, several pieces of the widow's furniture were broken. However, she ultimately chose not to file a damage claim simply to avoid dealing with any further stress, having already been put through an emotional wringer by Molly and her team. Unprofessional Conduct: Our team had to engage in several very heated conversations with Molly. Throughout the process, the company's behavior felt entirely shady, untrustworthy, and predatory. Final Verdict: If we had to do this over again, we 100% would not use this company, and we strongly advise everyone else to steer clear of them as well.
