One was the old apartment I lived in, and the other pickup was my partner's furniture and work tools. They have created their own inventory and clearly marked the boxes so there were no mix-ups. My craft supplies, his office monitors, kitchen appliances and family photo frames were all packed in various ways. The boxes were quite light, so we loaded them one by one, and this made us feel better. We booked a time for our building elevator, and our team worked around that time frame without wasting time. It was handled calmly, though there was a slight lag while the other person was loading the area. Everyone was very nice and informed us throughout the entire process. They delivered around 9 pm, and the main furniture was delivered to the desired location. One of the lamp shades had to be tweaked upon unpacking, but it was a minor issue. The boxes were readily available as each room's name was clearly written on the box. The move itself remained well planned and executed from start to finish, even with two pickup points. He is super friendly and was able to quote my move after sending him pictures of my belongings. The end rate was exactly as quoted, so there were no surprises! What is quoted, is what you pay. Norbert will text and call with updates. They were able to get my move in about 2 hours early, which was great! Norbert showed up to my current residence personally with a few documents to sign, and then let the team go to work on loading my items. I would say it took them less than 20 minutes, 4 men and a 1BR apartment. They are super efficient. They came prepared with extra packing materials and wrapped my couch, dresser, and large mirror in protective wrap. The movers showed up to my new address 20 miles away just shortly after I did. They moved everything upstairs and asked how I wanted things arranged to place them. Mind you, I was moving from 900 square feet to 450 square feet, but they did the best they could at arranging where everything should be and did a great job! They set up the bed and asked to set up anything else, but all was good. Total time= less than 2 hours for a 1 BR move to another city. $420 flat rate. Tips for the hard working gentlemen.
