TL;DR: run, do not use them I'm super late in writing this review but I used All Coast in July 2023 to move from TX to MD. Things were going great until it was time to pick up my items. They waited until the last minute within the "notification timeframe" to tell me when they'd be picking up my items. They also waited until the last minute of the "pickup time" to show up without giving advanced notice (we'll be there at x time) like I was told. Its important to note that whoever you talk to on the phone is from All Coast, but they subcontract out different moving companies and that's who will be picking up/dropping off your items and they do not communicate with each other. I was told one thing regarding price and how much space my items would take up but ended up having to pay more despite my inventory not changing. I had also been asked to move up my pickup date to accommodate their schedule and was offered a discount in exchange. I agreed to this and was told my items head to Maryland the day after pickup and to expect it by the end of that week. I was in Maryland for almost 2 weeks before my items arrived...we drove 22 hours across country several days after my items were picked up and they were still in Texas when I arrived to Maryland. To my surprise, a completely different moving company delivered my stuff and not only were there damages from my boxes getting crushed, there were also boxes covered in some sort of oil. Eric, from FL.....Mike full of 'false promises' on our phone quote (sadly we did not know at the time). Middlemen who get their cut and then outsource to local movers when you can just go directly yourself and get an honest quote and service. YOU ARE LITERALLY PAYING THEM FOR NOTHING. They will offer a slick initial quote, which WILL gradually increase to the point that you are without options, both from the fact that you are losing over a thousand dollars in a deposit and the deadline of a move date. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS!!! Use a credit card, as you will be SOL when it all goes south and you inevitably have to run a chargeback. They will send a document for this info for the initial deposit, please walk away at this point. You are basically giving strangers an envelope of cash that your bank can offer zero legal protection for you. When a business won't accept credit cards, that's your red flag right there. An honest entity won't care if you use a CC as they'll do a legit job and get paid, but not these shysters. They do this for a reason, so they can keep your money. My initial quote of $2300 ballooned to $6100. I'd give a negative score if I could. They have a completely convoluted payment scheme that gives you no way of backing out. They will drain as much money as they can from you to the very end. You end up having to give them your bank details first for the deposit (NEVER EVER EVER DO THIS BTW!). You will literally lose all your rights as a consumer if you do, and never see your money again. This is done probably because it's how they swindle people and can actually stay in "business". Thankfully I ended up hiring a local moving company that offered a flat fee, which combined with the loss of the initial deposit was actually LESS than what these A$$hole$ quoted me! I was also told that doing this was not going to work out. The new movers would try and get more money from me once the truck was loaded (the ol' scare tactic right there). Well in fact the opposite happened, they were absolutely awesome from start to finish. What I was quoted was what I paid, simple as that. No BS, just a great same-day move. Garbage company. NEVER I repeat NEVER book through this scam of a moving company. We booked through one of their sales representatives and they told us exactly what we wanted to hear until the actual movers showed up. All Coast is a broker, which they did not tell us. AKA once they get the sale, they are useless and you are screwed from that point on. Movers were supposed to come between 9am-12pm. They show up at 7pm. When they show up they tell us that they are Luxury Logistics. We were under the impression that it was All Coast that would be moving our items. Not only did the new movers quote us double the cubic feet but they started charging us for things that did not align with the contract that we signed off on with All Coast. Complete SCAM!!! I tried to call Josh when this was all happening and he sent me directly to customer service who were also unhelpful. We ended up signing off on it because we were desperate with no other movers lined up. If you are a professional moving company, you should know how many boxes and large items qualify for a certain amount of cubic feet. Our sales representative, Josh clearly had no idea what he was doing or was simply just lying to make his quota. After they took our belongings, we tried to work with All Coast and the manager Sarah is probably one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. She has absolutely no respect for customers. I would recommend working with another manager there if you are able to. All Coast promised us they would get the discrepancies figured out prior to delivery. Sarah finally put us in touch with her manager, Eric. He said he would be available to help us with this and would take care of it. The movers show up and Eric ignores all of our calls and messages. The movers had to wait over an hour to even begin unpacking until we heard back about the pricing discrepancies. We never heard back from Eric and he never followed up. We had to work with Luxury Logistics and negotiate until the finally adjusted the pricing. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. They are a complete scam and I can't even believe that they treat people the way that they do. Our items arrived damaged, we paid double what we were quoted, spent nearly 10+ hours back and forth on the phone with them to work through the incorrect charges and they never even followed up with us to ensure that these were adjusted correctly. There should be a negative 5 star rating for this company. I used them back in 2022. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a company providing a service. I was promised that they could keep me in my $4000 budget, but they inflated my estimate by over 50% AFTER they loaded all of my belongings and ended up charging me an additional $2200. When my entire life's worth of belongings showed up to my new residence. I was told I had to pay the new inflated balance before they would unload my things. I tried paying via a Zelle payment like i did when they loaded everything, only to be told that they did not accept Zelle and if I didn't pay them cash or money order, they would take my belongings to storage and I would incur additional charges for that. After many tears and fighting with the rudest customer service agent alive, I paid the remaining balance and my things were unloaded. I tried reaching out and filing a formal complaint but I was told I should've called on the original moving day. DO NOT USE ALL COAST MOVERS! This is a fraudulent moving broker. They DO NOT operate in good faith, are dishonest and hire dishonest and incompetent trucking companies to move your precious belongings!! They take advantage of disabled veterans, grossly underestimate the cost of your move, and (on the day of the move) charge 300% more than originally quoted!! If you say "no deal", they keep your hefty deposit. This was a huge unpleasant surprise for us. Plus after they reel you in, they will only accept cash or bank transfer payments. So there is little chance of recovering your funds later. When the movers showed up (Plymouth Van Lines in our case) they said that our first two deposits went directly to the broker All Coast and not to the actual movers. Nearly $5,494. And the moving cost would be an additional $10,700 more. A total of $16,194. Huge difference from the original quote, which was less than $5,000. We were in absolute shock. When we spoke to the All Coast customer service manager, she blamed us for the under estimation!! Our original quote was about 500 ft.³ based on a video walk-through with "Alexis" the All Coast "relocation specialist" who said she had been estimating moves for over 8 years and assured us repeatedly the quote was accurate. At the time of the video walk through and quote, we told Alexis we thought the quote was too low and she reassured us again not to worry, the "professional movers" will pack everything in the moving van floor to ceiling and every inch of space will be utilized. Our "estimate" on the day of moving more than tripled without the volume or amount of our belongings increasing. We even downsized and eliminated most of our furniture and many boxes of household items since the time of the original estimate before the move. We are senior citizens and my husband is a disabled veteran. I also have serious health issues and it is very difficult for us to move ourselves, especially the larger items. All Coast knew this and originally offered a 20% veterans discount which turned out not to be true. It was a nominal one time dollar amount discount off the initial deposit. I told the "customer service" manager that I will report All Coast to the veterans advocate group because of their intentionally dishonest practices and she reminded me (in an angry voice) that I was on a recorded line as if I should be intimidated by this fact. (I am DEFINITELY contacting the veterans advocacy group regarding this horrible company and issuing a formal complaint plus social media and EVERY online review site I can find.) All Coast is a fraudulent, dishonest moving broker contracting with other fraudulent and dishonest moving companies. All Coast's business conduct is deplorable and unethical. Every employee and contractor at All Coast and Plymouth Van Lines is personally responsible for their dishonest conduct, from the "relocation specialist" to the inexperienced movers who mishandled, destroyed and damaged our items. Our story gets even worse. When the moving van showed up to drop off our belongings, the truck driver said he had no way of getting our large safe off the truck and also had no way of driving the truck down the street where we live. We realized this was an attempt to shake us down for an additional $2400 . We had already paid a an extra fee for the safe and my husband had to rent a truck with a liftgate to get the safe off of the moving van. The "expert movers" turned out to be two young men who had no moving experience. They dropped the 2500 pound safe 3 feet to the ground causing extensive damage and nearly injuring my husband. Meanwhile the trucking company tried to halt unloading of the track claiming they had not received payment and was threatening to charge us an additional $800 overnight fee and $150 per hour delay fee. We overpaid by $850 in cash or Zelle with no recourse just to get the nightmare over with and get our belongings off the moving truck. Many of our moving boxes were damaged. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Do not trust any quote from this company. We gave them a very detailed list of items to be moved and they gave us a quote. We paid a down payment. On moving day, an outside company that they hire showed up to the house, with a truck already half full of someone else's stuff, walked through the house for about a minute and stated that it was going be to much more space that quoted. This included us removing items from our original list. We were originally told everything was included, however, they charged extra for anything (lamps, furniture with glass etc) that had to be wrapped or boxed. Had we known we would have done all this ourselves. They could not fir everything in the truck and stated they would go unload and return within 2 hours to finish loading. They did not return until the next morning after we had signed papers to sell our house. We had to ask the new owners to give us half a day for them to finish loading. Communication was ok until loading day them they do not answer phones, When we called All Coast asking how the quote was under by 35%, they stated this is not uncommon. It ended up costing us over $2,000. extra. When we called to complain the quote was so off they threatened to not release out items to us. They quote low to get the job and the down payment because all the down payment goes to All Coast. We were stuck paying because they already had the down payment, stuff loaded on the truck and we had sold the house and had to vacate. All Coast is just a middle man to hire another moving company. Extremely upset. Our entire experience with All Coast has been the most horrific customer service experience I have ever had. Having worked in customer service, the lack of communication/understanding, refusal to explain the details involved in moving, and condescending attitudes of the representatives we spoke to was a total shock. Sara was condescending, spoke over us, and literally refused to put us in touch with her supervisor. Janelle also acted the same way when we spoke to her, refusing to let us speak to a person higher than her. We started with a $6,800 estimate and ended up spending $15,000. We were told Janelle was going to call us the week of the move to schedule an appointment with Robert to do a final inventory. She did not call. We called 4 times in one day, 3 days before our move to do a final inventory. Once speaking to Robert we were hit with a higher estimate, which we had to borrow money from family to make happen. Then the day of, Best Choice, had no idea they were required to pack our items, they walked our house and the cubic footage doubled, and yet again we were back to borrowing money to make this move happen. We are now almost $10,000 in debt because All Coast failed to communicate appropriately and then refused to work with us afterward. Not to mention, the only reason we booked All Coast was because Alexis (who mysteriously no longer works there) told us that our items would be transported on a truck alone.. which we later found out to not be true. The message is pretty consistyent across the reviews. The bait and switch system works this way: 1. They give you a competitive quote. 2. You pay a downpayment according to that quote. 3. A few days before the move they call again and they ask for more specific details. They send you a renewed quote (a little higher than the original) with the volume they calculated your move will be according to the data yo gave them. 4. On the day of the move, they come and in 30seconds (literally 30seconds) they said "oh it is double of what we have in the quote, the updated quote is a LOT higher. 5. By now, you are on the day of the move, you paid a nice downpayment, that you will not get back if you cancel. You are in their hands. 6. They know by the call they had with you, the actual volume, but in purpose, in the quote they give you before the move they don't actually put the volume they know you will have but a lot less, making the quote competitive. Then, on the day of the move, in 30sec they can tell yo that the volume will be a lot more and now they give you the real, inflated, price. 7. In my case, they were right, the volume was a lot more than the quote, and thier defense was "oh you asked for half of the volume", No I didn't. YOU were the one telling me what was the volume, I only told you exactly what needed to be moved. Bottom line, doesn't matter that the crew was ok, you know that you just got fxxcked and you have to pay them. My initial quote was $6500 and I ended paying $12,500 !!!!!!! read more

They estimated and gave us a quote of 5k but when they showed up they quickly changed that to 16K and told us they'll only pack some of our stuff and then come back because it's too much even though we have them a walk through and an itemized list twice. I understand once they come it might be more but I calculate no more than 1K but 10K more is crazy. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and unaware of the principle and concept of the situation. Damaged items, poor packing, lie about price. NOT experienced with moving a motorcycle. Luckily no major damage to my bike, but poorly packed. Had to use rubbing compound to get the packing tape off! Who puts packing tape on paint? Crew had no idea how to unload a bike. I was able to get it off without killing myself. DO NOT use this company... they will raise the price once they start packing. This company is a SCAM! Read the fine print. This is a 3rd party broker NOT a moving company. You have to pay the movers in cash (and who carries cash these days?) or you have to pay their 5% processing fee yourself. They find ways to charge you hundreds or thousands of dollars on top of quote at pickup and then again at delivery. Their customer service agents are not helpful once they have your deposit, and ours was downright rude and condescending. They did a quote to move my 85yr old mother, with dementia, to another state and made promises they couldn't keep. The company that end up coming to pick up the household items, charged us an extra $2,000 because all Coast Moving Group did not list everything that we wanted to move, so the quote was inaccurate. When I called Marc Kaye, (who was the one who set up the contract) he said he was going to send me to customer service because I was angry. Mark apparently doesn't like to deal with upset and angry clients. That makes him a coward and a creep for not fixing an issue for customer who signed a contract. Don't make my mistake, do your homework and look up the companies you're either working with or if they are a broker, what kind of satisfaction do their customers have. I paid extra for a promissory delivery date, which I was told, by the people who picked up the furniture....cannot be done. DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I retired in September, and sometimes the military moves slowly with processing. At the time I was putting my house on the market and I couldn't lose this sale. I did two men and a truck and of course, different companies were calling me because I moved from Camp Lejeune, NC to Texas. For starters I shouldve never booked with a company that spells SAME as SAM! The worker who assisted the partner company with stealing HALF of my things was Martin Price. Let's start off with me telling him what was in my house to charge me a lower price to get me to lock into the contract. So instead of me paying 5k+, I paid almost 10k (no big deal I am moving far). They sent a company based out of Charlotte, NC named "T&C." Two people came with a random Ryder truck. Now, I should've known it was nonsense because I never had to ZELLE a moving company, and then my account was locked. That's sign,number TWO. It's And after they left I felt like something bad was going to happen. We made it to Texas for HALF my closet to be missing, most of my kitchen gone, shoes, heels, perfume collection, the helpers they hired got because the driver couldn't back in and I had to pay additional money for a U-Haul truck..... Yeah, the helpers cut my headboard with a box cutterand my dresser, and my frame are a mess. I'm like COOL I have insurance. Can you guys please HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS QUOTED $68 and they lost HALF MY HOUSE?! Now I feel like I should've read reviews, help, and the BBB. This company is simply the most despicable, low-life, scamming group of individuals that I have ever dealt with in my life. The level of their moral standard is simply astounding, and is quite literally sickening to think about. Enjoy reading this *thesis* of a review if you've found it, it's almost laughable that these people are legally allowed to continue this operation. Upon first contact, they will most likely sound very professional and give you a reasonable and enticing quote. WHAM, now they've got you by the balls! They'll collect a hefty deposit and now you're screwed! The day of pick up, a very shady foreman will come to reassess how much stuff you have, and more importantly, how much more cash they can scam you out of because they know they have your deposit as their hostage. However, he won't do this before he makes a pig of himself and lays all the way across your couch to make himself comfortable. Say you stomach this level of All Coast's BS, you're only still in the first level of hell. Next, after a 200% markup that you're most definitely going to get, some awful service, and a healthy dose of frustration, you will not receive any updates about your order. In fact, they'll only start to actually ship your order a few days after your first available delivery date! How nice of them for wasting your time for two weeks while you get to sleep on the floor of your new empty apartment! If you're like me, you'll even get to start a new job in that time; how relaxing! Next Chapter: Expect to have your stuff stolen! I myself had $500 worth of shoes taken out of a SEALED BOX. How funny is that XD. The best part is, as you could come to expect, their response to this is to direct you away from it being their problem, and forwarding you to the poor trucker that got shafted with being contracted by these degenerates. Their company motto must be to avoid accountability at all costs. More practical notes about the delivery in case you need a summary so far: bad service, up charging, scamming, BS, damaged boxes, untimeliness, unprofessional, no accountability, stolen goods, and abysmal business practices is just about how I would sum it up - maybe with a few extra choice words in there if I could. Also, don't bother complaining to the company itself - you signed a contract and they have all of their illegal activity disclosure loopholes in the fine print! Better yet - their customer service will actually mock you and tell you that its your fault. Very professional, I know. To the employees that work for this company, I feel sorry for you. To the people in charge, you must have very sad lives, I hope you understand what you're running, and that karma is inevitable. On March 27, 2023 I received a BINDING ESTIMATE from Jack Bauer at 561-990-5799 for my move quoted at $2195 to move from phoenix, AZ to charlotte, NC. I was informed by Jack since my apartment was on the 3rd floor there would be ONE $75 charge for additional staircases. I also had a small load so they put there would be 30 boxes in addition to my furniture and the total would still be $2195 everything included. I paid $740 deposit. However, when the movers arrived on 4/08/23 they stated it would be an additional $75 per staircase which was an additional $300 as well as $500 additional charge for 100 cf extra that they claim wasn't originally quoted. However, my move only end up taking 11 BOXES not the 30 originally quoted. Also, the movers did not move my desk or dresser which were two pieces of furniture added on the original estimate. So my original quote should have been more than enough to cover my 11 Boxes and a few pieces of furniture such as my couch and mattress. I was charged $3010 almost $1000 more than my original binding estimate although I ended up having 20 less boxes in inventory and 2 less pieces of furniture than previously quoted on the estimate. I also had a terrible experience with the company they contracted to move my furniture known as Hermes moving & storage- the company not only took 20 days to deliver my furniture (after being told it would take 10 days.) They also did not unpack my couch and assemble it as they were asked several times to do via phone and text message. Hermes moving also did not assemble my mattress with box spring as I requested. I was told over the phone before my items were delivered everything would be unpackaged and re-assembled as it was when picked up. The movers were so lazy they refused to take my couch upstairs to my bedroom and left my new couch wrapped up in the garage where it was damaged. When I called the driver the next day at (929)-401-8680 to ask for manager contact he hung up and not answering now. Scam! Please DO NOT DO Business with this moving group! They are liars and overcharge for no reason. Once they pick up your things they do not answer the phone. Extremely unprofessional!! My new 3k leather couch is now ruined because this company left it wrapped up in the garage after asking them to MOVE IT UPSTAIRS AND ASSEMBLE! Avoid this moving company. Their contract is written so that they are literally responsible for nothing. I contracted them received an estimate and AC's salesman sold me a move that was not as described. My move was scheduled for the 9th of October with the 10th being an emergency alternative day. A friend of mine flew to my location to help as I had a broken shoulder but still need to move. We were packed and ready to go. I called the on the day of my move, the had told me I would receive a call the night before. Nope. No call. Long story short I was stuck for 4 days. Finally got a guaranteed date for the 13th of October, ETA changed throughout the day. Started out 1 to 4, then 3 to 5 then 4 to 6. The movers showed at 7:10 pm approximately. I had paid $75.00 for a 55" LG tv box. There was no box on the truck. The lead used flattened old boxes wrapping the old boxes and even punching down the corners too fit. The most unprofessional move I've ever had. I was told that there were 3 total payments, two on credit and the final payment had to be cash. They told me they told me ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE AT 4:30 PM that I had to pay the entire balance in cash. They broke my 55" LG tv. Shattered the screen, tv approximately 1 year old. They broke my dining table. . They broke my ottoman/storage piece. They broke my new roommates back door screen door. Bottom line, Joe, the lead was incompetent, very difficult to communicate with. He wanted both payments in cash BEFORE we left Michigan. He was angry that I wasn't going to drive through the night to meet him in Wisconsin at his convenience. He told me on arrival that they had to hurry because the had another job, thus proving that my move was unimportant to him. He harassed me throughout loading the van about money. The job then cost me $423.00 more than quoted. Kel, his partner was much more polite and wanted to do a good job. I called All Coast and got the runaround, very poor communication. I called them many times and finally got the information for the company that ACTUALLY moved me. A company called Household Hauling. When I looked up reviews for the company All Coast farmed my move out to, their rating was 1.7 out of 5 and not BBB accredited. I believe All Coast at the very least is responsible for hiring competent companies to contract out jobs. I have reached out to Household Hauling for damage claims, NO REPLY. Beware All Coast Moving did nothing but lie from the time I spoke with Andy to the time the picked up my items. I was quoted one price and when they came to pick up my items, the cost ended up being over $2000.00 more than my original price. Also, the one mover put a bag in with the items they were moving that I specifically told him that bag was staying with me. They took my box of oatmeal, the older guy used my restroom without asking and washed his hands in my kitchen sink without asking. They also asked me when did I want my things delivered and I told them December 16, 2023. Today, I was waiting on my things and called to check and was told my things would not be here until Monday, December 18, 2023. If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away from this company!! Horrible. We were offered a full pack service for all of our items using their "best moving package" because they "take care of our veterans". They hired another absolutely horrible company called Sannah Van Lines who arrived early with no help, no packing supplies and a truck that wouldn't fit our stuff. The person from Sannah looked at our stuff and tried to up the price by like $20000! Horrible all the way around! They still have some of our items they won't return and broke a bunch of stuff.
