In 2018 I was sexually harassed by an employee of Storage Post Suffern. I was blown off by management about it and then blown off by upper management and told they couldn't do anything about it because by then he he wasn't working there anymore..: and to call law enforcement... As a victim of domestic violence that's the last thing I was going to do, then my abuser would know I had a storage unit. Now in 2023 they have decided to hold me to whatever they decide and not let me access my units... The only memories history and pictures of my grandmother, a Holocaust survivor are in the units, along with confidential sealed and protected documents yet they still put it up for auction and didn't care who could have been hurt, It took going to the courthouse and getting the paperwork for legal action to stop them..:. Additionally, Their location service used to be good but not anymore. One serious concern I have is when they have drilled long screws to reinforce the bottom part of all the storage spaces, this long screw drilling has gone through one of my expensive pro-audio accessories boxes and I'm hoping that it has not damaged my accessories. Overall, storage post management should be more careful when drilling long screws for a thin metal reinforcement. I also feel that they should lower my monthly payment (which they won't) for the next two years because of this and keep all my access the same, then I will say that it is even. UPDATED ON 04/30/2022: I would like to say that this Storage Post location(s) surely loves to increase tenant rates every 6 months or so and when you contact the New District Manager "Mohammed Sadqeen", he refuses to waive the sudden high increase of $15 which is ridiculous. If you have District Managers like this, then you will have many tenants leaving your storage one by one. This is a good way to push your loyal tenants away. Beware of this Storage Post location(s)!!! We seriously and highly DO NOT recommend to anyone looking for storage place at this Storage Post or any other Storage Post location as long as these id**ts who work in this corporate are there. This is the worst place to store anything. All my very expensive items were ruined snd nobody seemed to care then they tell you they are not responsible when I even brought in a specialist and they said the water damage was from the climate control system that they don't operate properly. To start off if I can give this no stars I would...I'm honestly disgusted with how this facility runs . They will do anything to make a sale , this is my 2nd time coming in trying to rent a unit and there is only one person working and the lady working( I believe the name is Symoane) is being harassed by people threatening to make her lose her job. She handled the customer in a polite manner and told her the customer that the systems were down so she has to call customer service so she can assist the customer. The customer was yelling and was not having it because she wanted things done right away. I feel bad for the worker. The customer wasn't even wearing a mask. A facility shouldn't be ran like this they should have respect for employees and the storage shouldn't have rented to her. There should be more then one person working. read more

Storage Post of Suffern, NY does not even deserve 1 Star. After moving from a townhouse and needing to store all furniture and household items from our townhouse (family of 4) we decided to place them in Storage Post Suffern, NY because they had climate control units. We were assigned unit#1190. This post was visited on several occasions but unbeknownst to me, there was a water sprinkler leak, that leaked onto the items. This did not only cause water damage, it caused mold to grow on all of the furniture and items stored in that unit. A claim was filed, as this was a fault of the facility, and denied by Storage Post causing a loss of approximately $40,000 in items. This included 3 full bedroom sets, living room furniture, dining room furniture, bathroom items. Storage Post of Suffern, NY washed their hands and did not take responsibility for any of the loss even though the reason that items were damaged because of their faulty sprinkler system. read more

This facility is really terrific...it's so clean. The office staff has been so helpful and friendly. I've recommended this location to a few people; not sure if they've rented, but I did recommend! Unfortunately, got a notice today; they are "readjusting rental rates". My 10x10 is going from $214 up to $276/mo. Can get the same size at Extra Space (my second choice last year when looking for a facility) for $183 heated, indoor, first floor or $187 climate controlled, indoor, elevator access: first month free for either. Not looking forward to the hassle of moving out but, when ya gotta go...ya gotta go. read more

I agree with previous reviewer, they continued to raise rates but can't even have the decency to provide water to customers let alone their employees! I was a customer for years I complained numerous times about issues I had with rodent droppings and temperatures not being constant even though they advertise climate control. Before I left I complained to the manager victor who acted like he didnt give a sh!t and was too busy for me. That was the final straw I decided to take my $350 elsewhere and move out.
