We rented two storage units at this facility from October 2024 through July 2026. Unfortunately,…read moreour experience was extremely disappointing due to ongoing rodent and environmental issues that resulted in significant damage to our belongings. The outdoor unit had what appeared to be a serious mouse infestation. Throughout our rental period, numerous items were damaged by rodents. Cardboard boxes and plastic storage totes were chewed through and contaminated with mouse urine and feces. We also found food caches, nesting materials, and even dead mice throughout the unit and on our belongings. As a result, we were forced to dispose of multiple damaged items. The indoor "climate-controlled" unit also experienced rodent activity, although it was less severe than the outdoor unit. We regularly found scattered mouse droppings and several food caches among our stored belongings. Despite the facility's policy prohibiting the storage of food, it appears that policy is not effectively enforced. We discovered caches containing rice, bird seed, popcorn, sunflower seeds, and pasta inside our unit. We did not store any food in either of our units. Additionally, the climate-controlled unit did not appear to maintain appropriate humidity or ventilation. Many soft items developed a musty odor, and several canvas bags developed visible mold staining while in storage. Considering the cost of renting two units for nearly two years, we expected a clean, secure, well-maintained facility that would adequately protect our belongings. Instead, our property suffered damage from rodents and moisture issues, resulting in the loss of items we had entrusted to the facility. We hope management takes meaningful steps to address these problems so future customers do not experience the same issues.

Placed an air tag in one of the containers to keep track of my stuff. 3 days later my containers were still on the west coast. When I called to inquire they said they insisted they were in transit because that is what the system said. When I told them they were not that I had a tracker in one of the containers, they finally called the weather coast facility and said they would be shipped out that night, well containers are still sitting there. DO NOT use this company if you want your stuff in a timely manner.

I attached a couple of photos of the large, long-distance truck and the organization on boxes and other items. The quoting process was good, as Scott was personable and wore a mask inside my home during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The office was OK about the paperwork and emails - just be patient and follow up if needed. I'll also note that the moving company on the delivery end was not so great, but it's probably the roll of the dice. The driver admitted that my dresser was wrapped properly by the loading company, but the delivery guys unwrapped it before moving through the door, which resulted in some minor damage. All boxes arrived. Only one loose, inexpensive patio chair was missing (which I could have prevented had I packed it in a box properly. Despite purchasing furniture insurance, the claims process took over six weeks, only for the company to offer repairs on brand-new furniture rather than replacing items that were clearly damaged beyond reasonable repair. The claims manager was also dismissive and rude, further compounding the frustration. I strongly urge others not to hire this company.
