Providing an update regarding my situation with the Dishonest business. The owner agreed to a payment plan that was set up by an attorney to satisfy a OC Superior court small claims judgement. The owner made only three payments and then they stopped. He claimed that he had no sales coming in and unable to make a payment. That was a year ago, and I'm still waiting for him to finish the payment schedule. Beware of this DISHONEST business!!! Update: the edge on our granite completely separated and several pieces fell off. Jose, the granite fabricator have used before and should have used this time, fixed it. Jose said Stoneware used the wrong epoxy to save money. The epoxy needed for outdoor BBQs is very expensive, and Stoneware cut corners to maximize their profit by using cheaper materials. Stoneware is a ripoff and a fraud. They should be indicted for grand theft. read more

We had been looking everywhere for a countertop for our home. We were hoping for something modern, and sleek that was still affordable. Most places only offered quartz or low end quartzite in our budget and were not easy to navigate. Some didn't even offer installation. We feel so fortunate to have found Stoneware Enterprises. Buyer beware... We remodeled our kitchen and the last part was the counter tops. We began looking around and there are so many choices. The Anaheim district is typically the best place to find an eclectic selection of counter tops however not necessarily the best price. We happened to find this place on the internet and yelp. I read the review and with caution decided to stop in. They have a huge selection of inventory from Marble, Granite, Quartzite to Quartz. I liked a few different patterns and on July 23rd I decided to come back with my husband for his opinion. We decided on a lovely slab and a half of Blue Fusion. We agreed on the cut the design and the edge. My sales person was Salman and the owner Nasir was also in store when the deal was made. After we made the payment in full in the form of a check we placed our order. While in store they made it sound like the measuring person would come within the next day or so. I also wanted to make sure they were installing the sink every other fabricator I spoke was always included the sink in their quote. Nasir immediately said oh we don't install sinks and I would need my contractor to do that before they can come and take the measurement. This of course is after they had my check in hand. Hum first sign. I called my contractor and he was more than happy to install it for free... However it wasn't until August 2nd. I called the office on July 26th and told them the sink would be installed. On August 3rd. I called Salman and the office no answer. I text Salman 10am no response text again 1pm he said he needed to check with his fabricator for the time. He said he was busy making a template. He finally got back to me later that day stating the guy Billy will come to my home and make a template 8-8-18. I wasn't home and he met with my husband. I was curious to find out what the actual square footage was because I measured it as well. I called Billy and asked him what they numbers were and he said it all in the computer I don't know. On August 10th Salman sent me what appeared to be the final measurements and of course they counted the extra inch all the way around for the edge. Extra 230. We made an appointment for August 12th to go in and match up the template with the slab. We showed up on the 12th as planned and there was no template only tape, Salman my husband and I. We were anxious to get it done and of course we didn't know any better. They had moved the slabs to the outside yard for inspection and to figure where they would cut. We noticed a few imperfections in the slab and they said don't worry they will buff out with the fabrication. On 8-15-18 we received a call from Salman, he noted there a issues with the slab we choose. Apparently the slab had too many imperfections and they couldn't buff it out. We need to choose a new slab. Unfortunately Salman said they wouldn't have this color for another 3 weeks. Mind you I wrote two checks now. My husband and I agreed on a refund. We were told 8-19-18 they would be sending a check on 8-23-18 I called and text inquiring on my refund. Once again he assured me the check was being sent out.(the check was in the mail) On 8-27-18 I called Salman and I happened to be in the area I wanted to pick up my check that was in the mail. What the hell right!!! Salman is really a nice person but then again he's a sales person. When I arrived I took a look around and they happened to have a very nice quartzite slabs for the same price range and I was so tried at this point I said let's go with it. Once again it was all measure and taped after all this time they still didn't have a template for us. We did all the paperwork and set up the installation. This slab was 3cm therefore they didn't need the extra inch for the edge. I figured oh great this will reduce the price, they said no its the same. We were spent at this point and figured we just want it to be done. They called us three days later at set the installation for 9-10-18. .I took the day off to make sure there were no issues. Everything looked great until they brought in the second piece of the slab where the seam meets. Oh boy was I lucky I was home. The seam didn't match up there were three seams and the patterned didn't flow. I sent photos to Salman who told me okay you don't want it we will replace it. I came down as we discussed and I picked out a new slab. Salman asked me to come back in a few days and they would have a template for me. The very next day no template just a call from Salman, he said they were only going to replace the piece where the seam was and it would not flow. After an argument and I let then know I would sue them they offered me a refund. After all that time I finally found a great price with a larger reputable stone distributor and for a very good price. Save yourself a headache and choose a more reputable and professional stone company for your next project. My husband and I purchased a slab of granite for our kitchen island and had it cut to size. Since we had purchased the entire slab, we were told that they would deliver our remnant pieces on installation day. We explained to the manager that we would be using the remnant to build a bathroom vanity. Everyone was on the same page. Installation day comes and our remnant pieces are no where to be found. The men who installed the island explained that the manager, Mohammed, did not tell them to bring our left over granite pieces (which we had already paid for)! Not a huge problem. We gave Mohammed a call and he basically told us that our remnant was too small and we wouldn't want it. We quickly discovered that he was simply lying to us. A week later, he sent us a photo of our remnant at the warehouse BROKEN IN TWO. He then explains to my husband that he would make this right and send us a new piece of granite cut from a different slab. Cool. Another week passes and the delivery guys show up with the ORIGINAL BROKEN granite remnant that Mohammad had photographed earlier. Mohammad lied to us again in his promise to cut a new piece for us. How is this legal? Stoneware Enterprise didn't even try to fix their mistake. What kind of customer service is that? If you're looking for damaged stone and laughable customer service for your next home project, look no further than Stoneware Enterprise. I purchased $11,000.00 of porcelain from this company and paid for delivery to my fabricator to cut and install in my home. It was delivered to him in a truck without A frame support. The wife of the fabricator knew something was wrong and she took pictures of the delivery, and thank God she did. The stone was fractured during transport and became unusable as the fabricator tried to cut it to install. It was a TOTAL LOSS. I took the company to court in Santa Ana, won the case but the owner refused to pay me. The owners out of country finances made my lawyer unable to collect. Another loss of money. People beware! This place has beautiful and big inventory that attract people but their workers have no experience in measurements, cutting, installation, etc. I bought a granite slab, they sent a guy for measurements and template, he told me I need two slabs instead of one, my friend who works with cabinets remeasured it and finally I only needed one slab. After installation one side of the island has a overhang of 4 inches, all the rest is 2 inches (which give me more space) but it looks kind of odd if notice. I went back to tell the owner all he said was : "oh I fired him because of too much complaints!".I did not know much about countertop at that time but after reading other posts I decided to post mine so beware, I would recommend to use your own contractor guy. read more

This is my third time using Stoneware for my remodeling purposes. The first two times were good as I had purchased the stone and had them cut it for me while I did the install. This third time, I elected to have them install the counter top and backslash for me. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that I have received especially being a repeat customer. Every appointment made, they are either late for or do not show up at all. The installation date gets rescheduled again to today. Here I am again, 2 hours after they are supposed to install, no one is here and not a phone call from the office. Customer care and service here was consistently great! We worked with the owner and his team -- and they were very personable and helpful. We picked the Crystalo for our kitchen countertop and can't be happier with our choice. Walking through their warehouse is like entering an art gallery of massive pieces of stone with miraculous design -- it's really easy to understand why people are willing to pay the extra dollar for natural slabs -- natures art and the luminoisty and depth of each piece is unmatcheable. I believe we got a good price. and after installation -- we noticed that there were some minor cracks. We were immediately offered full replacement at no cost to us -- with no questions asked. I felt bad for having to throw out such a large piece and asked if there was any way to seal the cracks to salvage it. I really couldn't bear the wastage. -- they sent someone over to check it out, evaluate the little fissures and agreed that it could be esealed and those stress fractures were common. They also shared that they would replace it if we needed. I chose to seal -- and it looks as good as new! The prices at this place were much better than any other places in Los Angeles. and some of the other places we looked at in Anaheim. The variety was quite impressive. A man scowled at me when I was parking in a perfectly marked spot in front of the store, and then aggressively motioned for me to move my car - even though NO OTHER customers were there..an empty parking lot! I moved my car, then went into find Mohammed (the sales person I was supposed to meet with)....on the phone YELLING profanity into the phone at someone...dropping the f*** bomb at least every 3rd word. He was also talking about physically fighting the person if it came to that. A VERY scary experience....I got out of there quickly. We had such a bad experience here. They have a beautiful selection and are moderately priced. But getting them to actually come do the job was like pulling teeth! It was nearly 5 weeks between demo and final install - a 2 kids and no sink, oven or dishwasher. Over 2 months between purchase and completion and covid was never given as an excuse. They just never showed up when they said they would and just kept picking another date in the future and not showing up then. They started hanging up on us when we called to inquire and I'm a super patient and nice person so that really took me aback. And finally, the install was not perfect and had many flaws. Just an update on this terrible business! The owner Sean just called me requested me to remove the review but not trying to understand what the problem was. He blamed it on me because I chose the material. I told him that as a customer we relied on their professional advise. At the time of the purchase, I wasn't well informed by his salesman but all he tried was to sell me the material. He even called with me racist names during our phone conversation. The reason for my one star is the after they do not care after they do the work and get your money. I bought the slabs and they did the installation as well. Slabs are fantastic but the work is not at all. After several months joints between two pieces started to show gabs and filling is started to come off. I did call the owner Mohammad and he promised me that he will get someone to take care of it. He never even bother to find anyone because when I called for a second time it was like I spoke with him for the first time and not only that -he blocked my number after second conversation because when I was trying to reach him again he never answered my number and when I used my kids phone he did. (They make you pay 100% in advance. This should have been a red flag to me!!) This company consistently misses appointments, will not return calls, and is generally terrible to deal with. If you choose to work with them, get ready to call the owner Nishar on his cell phone multiple times a week. The front desk will not answer your questions, they will simply tell you to call Nishar. I went in with a general idea of the look I wanted and they helped me every step of the way, from picking out the stone, laying everything out so it flows nicely, even staying late to finish the install. They went above and beyond and made me a shelf for my arch window AND put a back to it so things wouldn't slide back anymore. I love the veining on the island and the huge backsplash behind the cooktop. Definitely recommend checking them out. read more

The good news is that in the end, our countertops look good. (Except for the bar top, which is horribly out of level. See update at bottom.) However, there were times during the process where I thought I might blow my top. When my wife and I first showed up at Stoneware we dealt with Sam, who was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and patient. He got us set up with the right stone and then handed us off to Nishar, the owner, who was initially quite amicable. Once he got our money, though, things changed. In a nutshell, this guy's customer service and communication skills are some of the worst I've ever experienced. No updates, no status report, and certainly no callbacks. Ever. Not one. I travel a great deal for work, so needed to know when his guy would come out to template so I could be there. Getting a straight answer was liking pulling teeth, and every time I'd call Nishar he'd talk over me, spew random information about other peoples' projects, and insist that he call me back in 30 minutes. He never did. I had to resort to driving 30 minutes to the showroom to get any info. Template done, I was told 5-10 days to cut and install. Seven days later, no call with an update or to schedule an appointment. And I'm due to fly out of the country in a week's time. So I called the showroom, but everyone there defers to Nishar, because he's the boss and makes the schedule. My wife called and succeeded in getting him to pick up the phone, but he was rude to her and eventually hung up. Nice. It took me yelling at him to "stop talking and just listen, I need information" for him to finally stop stammering over me, and once he heard my tone he threatened to refund my money. This is two weeks and a dozen phone calls in. We didn't want our money back, and we certainly didn't want to be this stressed out; we just wanted an idea of when the installation might take place! All this frustration and stress could be avoided if Nishar would simply relinquish his strangle hold on the business and delegate some responsibilities to someone else. The other employees at Stoneware are friendly and kind, and they actually call you back. In the end, our countertops are nice, but not great. The beveled seams we paid extra for aren't as clean and invisible as the samples they showed us in the showroom, and some of the edges have uneven machining (one of them is directly above a switch on the backsplash, so it's irritatingly evident). I'd also wanted the bar top and countertop to be level, but they're about 1/4" off, and the overhang toward the counter is about an inch greater than I'd have specified if given the chance. Unfortunately the fellow that came out to do the template barely spoke English, so there was a communication barrier. My recommendation is to spend a little extra money and go to a higher end showroom. You may spend more, but you'll save a great deal of time and frustration. ***UPDATE*** I penned the above review moments after having the bar top installed (it was installed a week after the countertops because the original piece wasn't cut properly) and I hadn't inspected it thoroughly b/c the installer said not to touch it until the adhesive had time to dry. Well, now that the adhesive is dry we've started putting items on the bar top, including a round chap stick. And you know what it did? It rolled off the front of the bar. The bar top is NOT LEVEL. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I put a level on it and it's off by over 1/4" front to back... This is ridiculous, because I installed the brackets and shimmed the supporting plywood meticulously. Looking under the bar top at the 5/8" ply, you can see that the stone isn't sitting on it flush. There's a bigger gap between the ply and stone at the back of the bar compared to the front. The installers used gobs of adhesive and then laid the granite on without pressing it down into place or checking for level. I called Stoneware, refused to call Nishar's cellphone as everyone wants you to do, and instead got Solomon on the phone. He sent his installers out right away and they were able to remove the bar top and reinstall it, checking for level this time. read more

Gorgeous selection and wholesale prices 30% to 35% cheaper than MS International. Went to Stoneware Enterprises after talking to the owner, Mr. Nishar Siddiq, on the phone. He provided a lot of information, had better prices than everyone else, and was polite and informative. After reading several negative reviews in which there seemed to be some sort of cultural misunderstanding between the customer and this business, I went prepared that there might be some cultural differences. Actually, they were 100% polite and friendly, there was a beautiful selection of slabs, and was shocked that yes, their prices really are in general, 30%-35% cheaper than competitors. Contrary to another review here, they happily sell half slabs here, unlike some other competitors that I checked out. It works like this: If I need 1.5 slabs worth of material, with MSI, I would be stuck buying two slabs and having an extra half slab sitting around. With Stoneware Enterprises, if after cutting and fabrication, there's an extra half slab that I don't need, they will happily buy that back from me, saving me from extra waste and expense. They also do fabrication and installation. You can bring in your own fabricator if you really want, but their fabrication quote was significantly better than another independent fabricator's prices that I had been referred to. What an amazing place to pick stone!!! I originally came to Anaheim to shop their numerous granite shops. I found excellent reviews in Yelp for this company and came to check it out. The selection is AMAZING. I felt like I was at a museum!! The sales rep showed me the weekly special, An amazing white granite! They charge by sq ft if you have their installers install it . This is definitely the preference. I would have not felt comfortable with my own contractor doing the work. By having them do it, it guarantees it will turn out right! I even overpaid at the Initial appointment , they refunded me the difference immediately! There were some minor mixup with the order but Nishar was all too nice and quickly resolved the issue!! We are just finishing up remodeling our kitchen. I am so in love with the granite counters AND the tile flooring we bought here! I went to about 8+ different slab yards to find a piece of granite I really liked that wouldn't break the bank. We did all of the remodeling ourselves but obviously had to hire out for the counters. Also we wanted a professional to lay the floor tiles because the area in our kitchen was very large. My husband is a machinist aka perfectionist so of course he was going to be super picky about the work anyone did in the huge project we were D.I.Y.ing. Anyway, I found a viscont white slab here and it was perfect! I paid for the slab and they said they would hold it for us until we were ready for install. There was no hassle and no extra fee. MANY months... I'm talking 6 months or so went by before we were finally ready for the slab. Like I said, this whole project was D.I.Y. I slightly expected our slab to be magically gone and sold to someone else but it was still there. I was a happy camper. I shopped many places for floor tiles also. They have a Woodland Black porcelain tile that I really loved. It looked great with the slab I chose and the price was sooo cheap! it was the same price as some iffy tile we were considering from Lowes. The transaction for the floor tile also went very smooth. I ordered and it was installed with in a few days. They had a man named Brian come out to have his guys install the floor tiles. They did a PERFECT job. A+ When we finished installing cabinets, the templates were made and we realized the slab we picked was slightly too small. Fortunately they still had about six slabs of the same granite. They pulled them all out for me to choose another. No hassle! This second piece I chose had some yellow marks on the bottom but they just looked like dirt. Their install guy called and said while he was prepping the slab to be cut the marks were actually stains and weren't coming out. Stoneware was happy to swap the slab out again, no hassle! They pulled all the slabs out again and let me choose the final winner. Install day came and it looks great! Like I said, my husband being a perfectionist and aerospace machinist is a little annoyed that some measurements are not perfect to the millimeter but I think it looks great and no guest would ever notice. I'd maybe choose a different slab install guy than Julio, who did ours, but I give him an 8 out of 10. His install was satisfactory and he was a little poor on returning phone calls but he tried hard to please us. Every person I encountered here was very polite to me and had great customer service. They were even accommodating to my little son who was running around like crazy. It's too bad other people say they had bad service here because my whole experience was excellent! Super happy with my experience here. I shopped all over state college and found the perfect quartz slabs I was looking for here. They pulled out a bunch and let me choose my favorites and held them for me until we were ready to install. Muhammad told me that if i didn't use a whole slab I would only need to purchase the part I used. I thought this was pretty sweet since my mom had to purchase an entire slab even though she only used a portion of it from another place. The whole process was smooth with them from the first time I walked in until it was installed. No hidden costs, I even changed my mind about a "special edge" & they refunded my $ right away. Billy the installer was also great & clearly knew what he was doing. It was neat to see how he measured everything with lasers. He was friendly, professional and on time. Muhammad and his staff really seemed to appreciate my business and were such a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them and will be going back when I start my bathroom remodel. read more

I found this shop , and was very pleased! State college street has a LOT of stores selling tile and stone (which can be a bit overwhelming) ,but we were looking for a countertop and wanted something nice and at a good price $. They have a good selection and different options. We chose polished Quartzite and it looks great!! Taj Mahal is classy and clean. Mohammed helped us through the whole process. He is nice and easy to do business with.(he always offers you a Pepsi ) Manuel came and did a nice installation. Btw , they are open Sunday's which is convenient. read more

I bought two slabs of granite. I'm really happy with my purchase and my installation. One thing I do recommend is when demolishing, your cabinet should be covered so that debris won't get in. My installer, Billy did a good job. They were very on time with the installation. Love how the countertop turned out. read more

RUN as fast and far away as you can from this company! DO NOT pay them 1 penny for the lousy work and attitude of this place. Muhammad Aftab is a fast talking salesman making false promises to take care of you like "a sister" that BS went straight out the window, after I paid over 10K for 3 slabs fabrication and installation. I followed his instruction to bring my expensive KHOLER Whitehaven cast iron sink to them for exact measurement, then I had it professionaly installed. Knowing this would be one of the most important areas. His guy Manuel came out twice to template before and after my sink was installed. On Counter Install day, Nov 11, the most important slab with sink cut-out came in first. Immediately it was CRYSTAL clear the measurement was off, instead of taking it back and to the yard to cut it again, they move ahead and tried to "make it fit" carving out two notches that damage my slabs, then quickly glued in down, installing it with one side wider and the other. I called Muhammad, shared my concern, he did a 360 on me said it was my responsibility to them how to install it, right after telling me they've completed over 17k kitchens HOw they are experts skilled professionals. with many years of experience they know how to install farmhouse sinks. This screaming match between him and the owner Nishar went on far too long. I should be listen to my gut when I walk inside that warehouse. They took my money and gave me and a crap product. Explain to me why I have to point out an obvious mistake? Nishar Siqqiq, the owner is a complete nightmare. He's a hothead, clueless, no oz. of customer service, has no clue that is business is ran by the phoney Muhammad constantly Pretending to "take care" of you. All they do is try to churn and burn.Make the sale, take your $$ and drop you at the slightest complaint. Fast to a clients money and make false promises. READ the all the yelp! its very clear they have no clue how to measure or install properly. Both of these men put me on speaker phone, screaming and talking over me as I was trying to share why their measurement was wrong. Instead of making it right, they wanted to charge me for more material and labor. Blaming me for not showing them how to properly place a 2" counter over a farmhouse sink. Yea, my responsibility to tell how to do their job. Their own installers admitted to the measurment mistake that lead to the domino effect. These same workers also admitted they recently had to take Manuel off the measuring duty because of the number of complaints they've received!! Lucky me, I made a huge mistake walking into this business to throw my hard earn $$$$ at these smug clowns. Look at the gaps they left me with on the island. The strange 3rd piece glued on just one of the 4 stone bases. No rhyme or reason for this "make it work" design flaw. A second decision made WITHOUT consulting me with for my approval. They just took it upon themselves to "make it fit" As it stands today, the work is incomplete with a comedy of errors left for me to deal with. DO NOT GIVE THESE CLOWNS BUSINESS, PASS THEM UP.. GO ACROSS THE STREET INSTEAD! Don't fall for the $40 per linear sqft fabrication lie. That will NOT be their final charge. Also BIG RED FLAG... FORCING YOU TO PAY ALL UP FRONT. DON'T LET THESE CLOWNS FOOL you TAKE YOUR $$$$ LIKE I DID. And by the looks of it they've swingled $$$ from many :( Shameful read more

Out of my whole new home remodeling project buying and installing granite has been most amazing. And all due to amazing customer service by Stoneware. Make sure you ask for Mr Mohammad : When you choose the granite. Both Mr.Mohammad and Mr Nishar have helped in choosing the right kind of granite and making sure that granite is templated correctly and installed. Thank you Mr Mohammad for your assistance and patience. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. Mr Manuel: For installation. Mr Manuel is probably the best craftsman i have met who literally excels in his craft of template and installing granite. At my home one of my wall is not totally straight but he still managed to install the granite counter top. His penchant for alignment and straight cuts is visible in his work. He is thoroughly professional and you dont need to explain anything. You can check his work in the images. read more

Update update 7/27/2018. I received my credit today. The owner Nishar called me at 5:30 pm to let me know that he followed through with reversing the charges and Mohammed came through as promised with a picture of the refund receipt texted to my phone. Nishar was very cordial, invited us to come back and even offered us a discount if we go back again in the future which I am not oppose to as we do many real estate projects. I am glad to see that we were able to work through this unpleasant misunderstanding after the giant hiccup in our business interaction but as I said before, they do have one of the nicest and largest selection of stone slabs I've ever seen in any single location and seeing that they came through (finally) with reversing the charges I am open to visiting them again. read more

From the very beginning of choosing our quartzite to the installation - all aspects were made so easy by Sam, his father, Carlos and his installation team. Great job by all.
